Hello,
I understand that a certain number of karma is required to post, but whenever I look no subreddit mentions in its rules how many karma or age acc are needed to post.
Do you have any idea what a reasonable karma level is for posting without being automatically banned?
Thank you.

It depends on the subreddit you’re in.
how do you know how much karma you need for a specific sub reddit
Most groups who use minimums do not list them because scammers and trolls can read plus bots can scrape data. Try checking any pinned mod posts, the About sidebar (on the app, tap See more), their rules, a FAQ or wiki.
They want you to go out, get the hang of Reddit and build up a reputation just like when you move to a new town where no one knows you. You are knocking on the door of a party that has been going on for a while as a stranger asking to be let in.
Reddit has introduced a new tool that interrupts a user when they try to post to inform them that they don't meet the minimums for that community and suggests others that the post might possibly fit in. It's gradually rolling out across the platform and we don't know how long it will be before it affects all communities.
There are thousands of communities covering a vast range of topics that have no minimum requirements whatsoever because they can handle the amount of abuse that they get.
There are a massive number of groups that have trivial minimums such as accounts needing to be a few days old and have 2, 5 or 10 karma.
The larger and more popular a group is, the more likely they are to have account age and karma minimums in place or a specific CQS level and the higher they tend to be.
Some groups only check for account age - they may look for 24 hours, a few days, a week or several weeks depending on how much abuse they deal with, but quite a few also check for karma scores.
Some require 50, 100, 250 or 500 and a week or so.
1,000, 2,000 or more karma plus several months (and higher) are unusual.
Some groups check for post karma. Others find comment karma to be a better indicator. A few have a target for each.
Most groups just check your combined karma, the total of the two. They don't care where you got the up votes.
Some groups filter based on CQS. Check yours at r/whatismyCQS.
Some will use community karma. You can comment there but you cannot post until you have earned enough karma from up votes within that specific community earned by being on-topic and high quality.
Ask the Mods or check other users Karma to get an idea
read the sub rules before asking, some will ban you for asking.
Big issue I find is people still don't know where the rules are written.
That is almost certainly not likely to work. If mods want their minimums to be public they'll place them in a removal reason, the rules or somewhere else. This is relatively rare because scammers and trolls can read while spam bots can scrape data.

Rule 2: Post to ask questions about using Reddit; This is not the correct place for venting, rants, complaints, inflammatory or loaded questions, debate, user polls, speculation, or suggestions for Reddit
We are happy to help if you have a question about using Reddit, however, in our experience, the above types of post invite more complaining rather than helpful advice, which is the focus of this community. you could try to pots and if it gets removed it may tell you how many karma you need
Same here. I registered a week ago and I'm still getting auto-deleted everywhere. It’s honestly so frustrating just trying to be a normal user.
Quick comments for starting on Reddit as a new user
You won’t be banned for not meeting a community’s requirements but your content may be removed. Karma requirements range from 0-?, most subs don’t disclose their karma, account age or CQS minimums as that would defeat their purpose.
Start in some of these subs, they have low or no karma minimums- https://reddit.com/r/newtoreddit/wiki/index/newusersubs
Find some subreddits that interest you and make helpful comments on other users posts. Comment karma is easier to earn when you’re new. Once you’ve earned some karma and learned the basic mechanics of Reddit then move into posting.
It really depends on the subreddit. There are a few financial subs I’ve tried to post or comment on and they let me know it’s 50 Karma min. I’m not new (3 years) but have very low karma due to too much lurking and not enough interacting!
One of my deleted posts due to low karma did say I needed 100, but most did not say how much was required.
I had been posting nothing but supportive comments, so I was very confused seeing that NONE of the things I was spending so much time writing were being posted. Until today, I finally looked it up.
Follow the links that people are suggesting, and interact genuinely with subreddits you like. It seems like it will be a long process to get to 100, but I appreciate this system, actually. The fact that so many comments are genuinely thoughtful is testament to the way this system keeps quality engagement around.
Finding Subreddit Filters and Levels. These are not always clear:
If you are struggling to find subreddits to start off in, Newtoreddit has a list of new user friendly subreddits. (This is not an exhaustive list and these subreddits may still have some restrictions.)
Each subreddit is different and they don't usually share required Karma or Account age. This is why it's important to stay engaged on pages you can post and comment on and upvote comments you like and agree with to help everyone out or downvote the rude people.

Post and comments are removed for breaking the rules of a community, or simply because you don't meet the minimum requirements that they have for a account agent and Karma score. Most communities with minimums do not state this publicly since scammers and trolls can read while spam bots can scrape data.
An increasing number of people do not appreciate AI content of any type because of the enormous energy burned to perform the simplest task, because over hype of it is creating a financial bubble that is likely to cause significant economic damage and because generative AI is essentially a plagiarism machine.
It depends on the sub reddit that you are on

like 10 karma i think will get you in most i’ve been struggling with since getting banned most i’ve subs ive posted to and got removed by mods they say after how much karma they’re asking for most said 10
There are many communities that have no minimums or trivial ones like 2/5/10, but if a community is at all active they're going to be looking more in the range of 100 to 300 karma.
500, 1000, 2000 or more is much less common.

Usually 300 if I'm not mistaken
Ranges between 50 to 500, but some communities can let you post with 0 karma.
