Hi Everyone,
We have been researching how emotional states amplify the physical presentation of symptoms in Functional Neurological Disorder.
If you would like to read the paper it can be found here:
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me.
All the best,
These look like interesting findings. I've always thought of FND in terms of "distress" but never thought to wonder the exact nature of the distress.
P.S. Thank you for studying FND! High quality research on it is too scarce.
Thanks it's an extremely difficult condition to track based on the complexities but hopefully it's a step forward in the right direction.
I think this will be relevant to my work in an inpatient psych facility. Looking forward to reading it, thanks!
Thanks :) If you have any questions please feel free to let me know.
Consider sharing with r/FND. This is incredible recognition for the complex emotional states that drive psychomotor activation. Thank you for your contributions!
Thanks :) Yes I've already shared it there.
