Im in 11th. How to make phsycis notes ? Like u watch lectures U will write all theory thing or whatever teacher is writing by hand But what about the questions? And when I am doing chapter everything feels important or new , so I can't even segregate the imp ques or basic ques or etc..

So please help... Because a 2h lectures takes me 3h+ to complete a lecture with notes. ..

By this I'm left with no time for self study.

  • The rule of thumb is if you can solve a question without lifting the pen in a lecture they are not worth writing but if you get stuck or don't know how to apply concept at specific question you should write it down and making notes is one time thing it takes time but helps at latter revision.

    The self-study part is bs man I may get downvoted but thing is you need to take out time for it if you don't wanna drop somedays it okay to rest and not do it. But if you can't recover time after you finish your 2 or 3 lecture then it's on you mate.i suffered from this stuff but it came to bite me back.

    Jo questions ek baar me solve hoo jaye or dekhte hi approach mil jaye unko mat likhna... Jo tricky lage ya galat hoo jaye first time pe ya kuch new lage wahi likh na.... After all Sare qns class notes pe mil jayenge.... So whenever u want to revise u can open and revise all the questions....

    i just wanna say that you have to develop sitting hours eventually. There are no shortcuts to it, save some time by not watching the part of the lecture you may have known before, or cut some time out of your hobbies or internet, and it's not a hard and fast rule, but you will have time during feb - march period, use it to your utmost advantage and cover whatevr you wanted to do like revisions question practise etc bcz during this time i think 11th syllabus is complete and you have nothing else to do anyway you will again get this time after november in 12 th so you will have time during nov to april during 12th too so use that time as well.

  • I won't say to not make notes or not write questions. The most important and bare minimum things to include ik your note are

    • The definitions of the key words, prominent figures and scientists if given and important terms.
    • Formulas
    • Derivation of the said formula.
    • Questions solved in the class.

    See, if you are someone who doesn't read and go through the books/modules/sheets . Then make as detailed notes as possible + and imp note and tricks told by teachers. But if you do and your primarily studies from a book (say hcv ) then focus on adding said imp notes/tricks on the side black space of the book and move on.

    Most important is to NOT SKIP on formula sheet, derivation and questions that are tackled in class. Infact, make a seperate notebook with just derivations and questions n solutions. Go through this notebook repeatedly. And if theory related doubt arises, read the said chapter from a book you are referring to or simply ask your teacher to explain and go through that topic again.
