2 months into the semester, now i'm finally cleaning out the empty cans as i type. i'd get bedsheets but with the amount of caffeine in me, i dont rlly sleep anyway.
if you can clean it up in 5 minutes is it really a nest? unless there’s piss in those cans it just looks like a room you’ve been too busy to tidy up or decorate

Tape the top of a plastic bag to the side of a shelf or table and that will make a de facto trash can. You can use takeout or shopping bags.
If you buy garbage bags you might as well buy a bin. Thrift stores often have something that can work for a garbage bin for a few dollars.
You could also go to the storage section of an office or hardware store and get a plastic storage bin for about the same price as a small garbage bin. You can use it as a trash can for now but then wipe it down and use it for transporting stuff when you move.
If you get one the height of under your bed you can shove it under your bed between cleanings so you don't have it blocking your space.
the old "Power Center" from the 90s. that spent some years with a CRT sitting on top of it. Heads up that it's just a power strip inside, it doesn't have any surge protection.
