• No, in first game you are playing against Ashe, Rell and Lilia. Those are 3 CC heavy champs with 2 of them having a lot of their budget in cleansable ULTs instead of going for piss weak item like Ardent you should have opted for Mikaels to save your teammates from well timed Ashe and Lilia ults. In 2nd game similar thought process could be applied to Jhins W and Seraphine E and R, albeit Redemption value can be massive in that draft.

Mikaels only has value if your teammates actually react to being cleansed by their support, which in low elo (op is bronze) is very unlikely. Otoh, heir fed auto attack carries will get value from Ardent whether they realize it or not.

Garen and Ahri will next to none value from Ardent, Lucian is more of a spellcaster ADC and at the point of the game that Volibear will actually benefit from Ardent he would much rather have additional survivability of Redemption or speed from Shurelya. Also you are underestimating bronze players they arent mechanically stupid anymore, they just suck ass at macro.

  • fuck moonstone/redemption these game, your team is getting one shot in the first 5 seconds of a fight and if you live that youre fine. mikaels carries this entire game, but if youre not comfortable enough to go mikaels then just mikaels so you get comfortable with it because its a required skill and accept the loss while you learn it

  • I'm personally not the biggest fan of the common build of going Mandate into Moonstone second. This is bc u'll have an awkward period after Mandate completion where Moonstone feels weak due to lacking heal/shield power (since Moonstone doesn't give heal/shield power in its stats). I much prefer to keep these 2 items in separate builds altg. But if u wish to combine these 2 items into the same build, then I would highly recommend buying Dawncore. That way, u can combine the mana regen from Mandate and Moonstone into heal/shield power, giving them much better synergy tgt

For the 2 specific game examples in ur post, the first game u would've benefitted more from going Mikael's second. Enemy team has Lillia and Ashe, both are high impact ults that are cleansable. Ardent third is fine here, seeing as ur autoattack-based carries are fed in this specific game. Dawncore or Redemption here would've also been good choices. In the second game, I would've gone Shurelya's instead. Your team has a lot of champs that want to all-in and dive the enemies in the second game, so Shurelya's active would've helped them better gapclose. The issue with going Mandate + Shurelya's is the weak healing, due to lack of heal/shield power items. However, u can then go Dawncore third to convert all the mana regen from Mandate and Shurelya's into heal/shield power and AP, tying the whole build tgt nicely. If u need any help or have additional questions regarding Nami's itemisation, see full Nami itemisation guide here

I personally prefer Moonstone in full enchanter builds, esp when I build SoFW or Ardent to apply these item effects to more allies using Moonstone's bounces. However, due to the bouncing nature of Nami's W already, I find that she doesn't really struggle to apply item effects in a teamfight scenario unlike most other single-target enchanters, so Moonstone purchase is more so for the extra healing. Moonstone would be ideal vs longer-ranged comps with a lot of AoE, bc it will be harder to gapclose for W bounces as consistently due to their range

Here are some example builds: - Moonstone → SoFW/Ardent → Dawncore/Redemption/Mikael's - This is a full enchanter build in situations where u don't need Mandate AND enemies have a long-ranged comp that makes it hard for Nami to bounce W into. Moonstone's heal bouncing becomes more valuable when ur unable to bounce Ws. SoFW or Ardent depends on ur wincon or ur botlaner pairing - Helia → Moonstone → Dawncore - This is another full enchanter build in situations where u again don't need Mandate, but this time enemies have a short-ranged comp. Nami struggles to stack Helia consistently vs long-ranged comps, which is why we ideally only go Helia vs short-ranged enemy comps instead - Helia → Mandate → Dawncore - This is more dmg-oriented enchanter build, in situations where enemies are short-ranged AND ur team needs the extra Mandate dmg. Dawncore then converts the mana regen of Helia and Mandate into heal/shield power, ensuring that the build doesn't fall off due to lack of heal/shield power - Mandate → SoFW → Dawncore → Moonstone - If u wish to have both Mandate and Moonstone in the same build, this is what I would recommend. Mandate into SoFW second feels sm better than Mandate into Moonstone second. SoFW gives heal/shield power and extra AP, allowing u to maintain an aggressive early build without losing too much heal/shield power in the process. You can also replace SoFW with any other heal/shield power item, but I just find SoFW to feel the best - The reason why I don't recommend going Dawncore second (so that u can go Moonstone third) is bc of the lack of haste. Nami has relatively long cds, so she rlly needs that early haste from her first 2 items. The exception ofc is if ur team wins feats and u upgrade ur Lucidity boots to Crimson Lucidity. This could potentially offer u enough haste to go Mandate → Dawncore → Moonstone instead

Now that I've explained a few example builds, a question u may have is when to build Mandate. Mandate works best against hp-stacking comps bc of its %hp dmg. Even if it is current %hp, it will still be useful against hp-stackers. Mandate is also good when ur team needs more magic dmg, or if u have a bursty all-in type of ADC such as Lucian, Draven, Tristana etc, or a long-ranged poke ADC like Ezreal, Ashe, Caitlyn. All these champs have reliable ways to proc Mandate. There are some games where ur team has enough magic dmg and enemies aren't rlly hp-stackers. In these situations, u can skip Mandate entirely for other options

Hope this helps, and provides some insight!

thank u. i will be trying moonstone into sofw/ardent.

so basically moonstone into ardent/sofw if they have alot of ranged

helia into moonstone if they have melee comp

helia into mandate if i want to maximize damage with mandate and if they have a melee comp

There's also the standard build with Mandate rush into situational items afterwards. The example builds I listed above are just for Moostone specifically. My linked comment explains everything for Nami itemisation

thx kiarakawaii, when should i pick soraka, and when should i pick nami?

i think i saw u mention once that u play soraka into melee comps/ comps that cant ourburst ur heal

and u play nami into longer ranged comps but she also gets countered by burst and hard cc

I think the comment that ur referring to is this one? Nami tends to be more blindpickable than Soraka in my experience. Not only does she pair well with all botlaners (even unconventional ones like APCs or melee ADCs), but she also offers a bit of everything in her kit which allows for more build and gameplay flexibility. Soraka feels more restricted in that against long-ranged comps or overly mobile comps, she can't land Qs reliably to maintain her sustain. Nami does better into these comps bc her heal, E buff, and movespeed granted from passive are point-and-click with W and E. She gets more options against such comps in comparison to Soraka. However, they are ultimately diff champs. Where Soraka struggles and Nami thrives, the vice versa also holds true. For example, Soraka has undeniable superior sustain compared to Nami. She's able to keep allies alive in those close fights with her short cds, while Nami will struggle with her much longer cds. Soraka's silence being instant also gives her the edge over Nami in situations where u need instant cc. While Nami does have Q and ult for hard cc peel options, these abilities cast and travel slowly, thus are easily dodgeable

If u want to focus on these 2 champs, then u could choose Nami for blindpick and Soraka as a counterpick or when Nami isn't available. I much prefer picking Soraka into the likes of Pyke or Karthus for obv counter reasons, as explained in the linked comment already. However, these are just mere suggestions based off of my own experiences with both champs. I have far more experience on Nami than I do on Soraka, so my opinions could be biased towards my main champ due to being more comfortable on one champ than the other

As explained in my linked comment already: - There is nothing wrong with OTPing Soraka with Nami as ur backup - It's important to play what u enjoy - There are high elo OTPs for all kinds of champs and Challenger enchanter mains every season

All these points have been explained in full detail in my linked comment already, so I will not be repeating here again. If u need a refresher, feel free to revisit said comment. Hope this helps!

  • The items you have are good for consistency, but when dealing with champions such as Ashe, Rell, or Lillia, consider picking up Mikael's blessing to cleanse your teammates from their crowd control effects. I understand why you might not have considered it, as if they aren't reliably hitting their crowd control on your team, or it's being activated in situations where any follow-up from their team might not endanger your teammates. I wasn't in your game, so I can't sit here and say what you did was wrong.

I'll conclude with this helpful thought: always consider high-priority threats on the enemy team before you pick your items, so you can determine how you will counterbuild or amplify yourself or your team in fights.

  • like other people said, your build is good none of the items are bad its just matchup dependent other items are better
