I will never understand how people can’t just wait until the train crosses or at the very least have some sort of urgency when it comes to crossing before the train hits you. Rip
Its called entitlement. Nothing and no one around you matters except you. Walk across train track super slowly? No biggie the train will just stop. This is how most ppl think. Crazy part is if she had survived she'd be blaming the train.
Too many people either driving or walking think that waiting a few minutes is a big deal, I bet you don’t remember when you were stuck in traffic or had to wait for an idol in front of you 1 years ago. Patients is one of many skills in life we all need.
Remember folks a train is wider than the tracks are, she seemed to slow down once she was past the second track if she had kept her pace she would have been in the clear
possibly because she's old and walking faster hurts. My grandma wouldn't really be in this situation, but she definitely would stop rushing as soon as she knows she's safe because of her hip being a little clicky
That's what kinda makes this tragedy slightly less hard-hitting.
Sure it was a gnarly death but death is death.
Did she suffer, nope. She died a split second after that train rammed into her, and she has lived a long life as you said.
I still do feel sad for her and family members, relatives and friends.
Are those parts all limbs or did her head also got decapitated? Also which country is this? That motorcycle driver is probably traumatised for life. Really sad
Do you think she walked past the downed gate, or she was so slow it came down after she passed it? I am unsure why anyone would walk past a downed train crossing gate.
It is not the first old person that get killed by the train in that cross road. There are atleast 3 different videos with people wallking in front of the train and getting killed.A few years ago, a trains spotter capture a video with and old lady getting hit by the train in the same spot. That is a very bussy road.Location is called Brănești, and it is close to the Bucharest.
Lol. I was instantly like this must be Bulgaria. So I was kinda close. I had an ex Gf there and she would tell me the wildest stories of multiple peple being killed at the same crossings and school kids being run over. In the most peaceful town of 6000 people no less, Hisarya.
Her body instantly exploded
Crazy , think you can’t tell if it’s the head or part of her inner organs , her limps eg leg still recognizable though.
One this is the trauma of the motorcycle driver another is the lake of reaction?! Is he in shock or didn’t he realize what happened ? I mean theirs literally no reaction , like „oh my god“ or so
Real tragically moment
Condolences for the family and their loss
I was on an Amtrak train 15 or so years ago when suddenly the emergency brakes went on and brakes were smoking. Shortly thereafter, the conductor announced that there had been a “trespasser strike.” Meaning that we had hit someone on the tracks. I just remember the cops carry multiple bags of what were clearly body parts past the train and back to where they had accessed the tracks. We were stopped for a long time while the engine crew was replaced. I did make the mistake of looking back at the front of the train when we disembarked in Seattle. the front of the train was covered with bright red blood. I suspect that the person we hit looked much like this.
Exactly, those insta booties saved him from witnessing a horror he’d probably never forgot. He’s probably just wondering why he felt some rain with clear sky’s
Man, I'll reserve my judgment on the motorcyclist. Imagine just going about your normal day and then suddenly seeing an elderly person crushed and splashed in front of you. As much as I frequent this sub, witnessing it in person and so suddenly would still be a total shock to me. I'd have to process what happened and deal with my emotions
I was thinking wtf why he not react to that. If you zoom in he’s staring at his phone. After the splat the lady’s bits are past his view. All he sees is a double take of the smear on the road.
they often operate near industrial area or other trains. it's very easy to get confused about the specific sound you're hearing. that's a reason it's important to look
source: actually saw this discussed in a safety video, many people have been struck because they thought the train sound they were hearing was a different nearby train they could see, and not a different train they had their back to
I hope the guy on the bike got some counseling. It cuts just as he’s beginning to realize something is wrong, he must have heard it but she was already gone by the time he glanced up. The stain on the road seemed to have clued him in.
I recently witnessed my 89-year-old mother almost launch herself down the basement stairs because she thought she was at the entrance to the hall that leads to her bathroom. Elderly people get confused easily.
By the way she literally exploded, I have to wonder if he caught a bit of "spray". Like, sitting there scrolling and all of a sudden his visor has a bunch of red droplets on it.
I want this too. I'd like my brain to be so compromised that I don't even have the opportunity to experience the end-of-life DMT trip. Not even decapitation provides that kind of efficiency. Obviously I'd like it to be a little cleaner, for the sake of my family, but I wouldn't be upset if I just had an aneurysm burst and turn my upstairs into insta-soup.
Imo satisfying morbid curiosity is closer akin to education than it is entertainment. There are certainly individuals in the comments who seem to be enjoying themselves here, but I personally do not enjoy it, and even sometimes experience nausea and distress from these videos, but it's just that I feel a need to know what fatal accidents actually look like compared with fiction.
To me wanting to look at such images never comes from a good place. I haven't seen much real gore but what I have seen I've never experienced nausea or distress but, in all fairness, I avoid really bad ones like Funkytown because that sounds beyond wrong and it very likely would make me ill & I have zero interest in making myself ill or depressed.
To me I get like a jump scare, shock buzz or a rollercoaster feel. I think my mind protects me by telling me that it's not real - I really don't know but it's certainly not something I'm proud about being tempted to look and would never tell anyone because it paints me in a bad light.
So, I guess I won't look after I wrote all that LOL
Guy on the bike was looking at his phone and likely did t hear anything either. The speed of the impact would make it very easy to miss if you’re not watching directly.
I’d like to see the full footage. The safety bars are down behind her, but she walked so slowly that perhaps they were up as she walked by then came down after she had passed them. If that was the case, she had no way of knowing she shouldn’t have been on the tracks. She may be deaf and didn’t hear the bells either. If she had family, it must have been horrible to find out what happened to her, and it was filmed which only makes it worse. If she was my mother or grandmother I sure as hell wouldn’t want people watching her get killed.
I will never understand how people can’t just wait until the train crosses or at the very least have some sort of urgency when it comes to crossing before the train hits you. Rip
People are often really bad a judging space and time.
I'll be the judge of that..
I think she misjudged that there was a train coming.
Maybe she was deaf. Or had dementia
Whatever was going through her head was interrupted by a moving train going through it.
That was dark but creative
New post title: Grandma catches the train to heaven.
If it gets a movie adaptation we can name it Train of Thought
Looks like her arsehole was the last thing to go through her mind.
I am, too, but because I know that I am willing to wait.
Its called entitlement. Nothing and no one around you matters except you. Walk across train track super slowly? No biggie the train will just stop. This is how most ppl think. Crazy part is if she had survived she'd be blaming the train.
Those high speed trains are way faster than people even think about too.
Yeah but in this case she has the excuse of being old. Possible mental decline (poor judgement/understanding), poor vision, poor hearing
Yeah and the dude on his phone, couldn't look up to stop her, barely noticed when she blew apart in front of him
Bro was acting like that happens every day
They just aren’t too fit anymore to survive a hit by a train.
How much fitness would she have needed to survive this you think?
Just a few more pushups probably
Can attest I’m same as the grandma did a few push-ups and held back the train
The fitness grand pacer test is getting a lot more extreme these days 😳🙀
Me neither. She just moseyed along like she couldn’t see, hear or feel it. The motorcyclist is equally befuddling; they barely flinched.
I'm guessing she had no idea there was a train at all. Utterly oblivious.
No, she looks at it as its coming
Too many people either driving or walking think that waiting a few minutes is a big deal, I bet you don’t remember when you were stuck in traffic or had to wait for an idol in front of you 1 years ago. Patients is one of many skills in life we all need.
Same...there's nothing or nowhere I need to get to bad enough to risk racing a fucking train!
Remember folks a train is wider than the tracks are, she seemed to slow down once she was past the second track if she had kept her pace she would have been in the clear
I don't know why you'd be slowing down at all in her situation
Id have slowed down so much i stopped before the barrier
if she hadn't hesitated after the first tracks she would have made it no problem.
She didn't, the video on the screen is being played few seconds after reddit video starts.
If she had continued to wait she would have made it no problem.
Fifteen seconds vs the rest of your life, nah can't wait.
Lights out.
Although tbf, in her case, the rest of her life probably isn't much longer anyway.
But the trauma to the family would be way worse with this way of dying though.
possibly because she's old and walking faster hurts. My grandma wouldn't really be in this situation, but she definitely would stop rushing as soon as she knows she's safe because of her hip being a little clicky
Clueless and old.
Add to that the fact they have eardrum exploding horns
my first thought . i also thought that well she is saved now but bammm... JUICE
Like the Incredible Crash Test Dummies figures from the 90s.
At least she lived a long life. She was dead before she knew what hit her. Which was the train, obviously.
The manner of death was just unfortunate and devastating. She was literally gone physically in a split second
Dont you mean that she was physically split in a second?
She died very quickly
It was a better way than most people go, gruesome sure, but I doubt she suffered
Yeah personally I'd take this than several nights in a cold hospital
Dayum
That's what kinda makes this tragedy slightly less hard-hitting. Sure it was a gnarly death but death is death. Did she suffer, nope. She died a split second after that train rammed into her, and she has lived a long life as you said.
I still do feel sad for her and family members, relatives and friends.
I wonder how you feel knowing you were hit by “je ne sais quoi”
Source?
/s
Thank god you included that sarcasm indicator, otherwise there's literally no way anyone could tell you weren't serious!
I'd question being in your sixties as living a long life. Refer to Shatner.
I read that as ‘return to shatner’
but she still could've survive another five more nights
damn she literally went SPLAT
but splat grossly understates the splatiness of the whole thing.
wait let me try something :
SPLAT
More like sploosh
I’m going to hell
I think it was a sper-LAT!
Well, if we’re going there, it was more of a
Sploo-
fling
Psychiatrists love this one simple hack.
See being in your phone can save you. From a traumatic experience
Are those parts all limbs or did her head also got decapitated? Also which country is this? That motorcycle driver is probably traumatised for life. Really sad
Video is from my country, Romania. In that area, trains are passing with 160 km/h.Also in that place happened many fatal accidents with pedestrians.
That is a very bussy road.Location is called Brănești, and it is close to the Bucharest.

never saw a train that fast at a crossing before
Her body instantly exploded Crazy , think you can’t tell if it’s the head or part of her inner organs , her limps eg leg still recognizable though. One this is the trauma of the motorcycle driver another is the lake of reaction?! Is he in shock or didn’t he realize what happened ? I mean theirs literally no reaction , like „oh my god“ or so

He didn't even see it, he was on his phone. He looked up aftwerwatds, didn' realize what it was, looked back at his phone, then looked again.
Yeah, now looking closely literally the second train hit her a big cloud of blood forms. I hope she didnt feel any pain whatsoever.
Pink mist
He’s just finishing his text
Not sure the motorcycle rider even noticed what happened. No reaction he glances up for a second then back down at his phone
Just another day in Romania.
I thought that was odd too, literally no reaction
He didnt realize it was a human
I don't think the biker even realizes it. He looked at his phone and did not even notice it.
I don’t think I’ve seen someone actually explode before. Typically they stay fairly contained in their meat suits except for maybe a brain.
Something as massive as a train will absorb virtually zero energy so anything it hits will be annihilated.

The dude on the motorcycle is insane lol. He's like "Just another brutally crushed elderly woman I guess"
Im pretty sure he was looking at his phone and saw nothing except the aftermath.
Exactly, those insta booties saved him from witnessing a horror he’d probably never forgot. He’s probably just wondering why he felt some rain with clear sky’s
He'll still remember the aftermath. It always stays in your mind.
yup, seems like the video cuts out as soon as he starts piecing it together
With that force of impact the last thing he could do was piece her together /s
Was probably on Reddit tbh
On this sub, oh the irony
That's... Not irony.
It is indeed not
It's like rainnnn
Pretty sure he didn’t know what happened after awhile since he was looking at his phone.
I dont think there was any other reaction to give. I mean hes not gonna try to stitch her back. Bro was shocked.
Kinda looks like he didnt see it happen at all
Man, I'll reserve my judgment on the motorcyclist. Imagine just going about your normal day and then suddenly seeing an elderly person crushed and splashed in front of you. As much as I frequent this sub, witnessing it in person and so suddenly would still be a total shock to me. I'd have to process what happened and deal with my emotions
I don’t think he really noticed
You’d still have that moment of processing what happened. Grandma was on the road eh
I was thinking wtf why he not react to that. If you zoom in he’s staring at his phone. After the splat the lady’s bits are past his view. All he sees is a double take of the smear on the road.
Damn the mist.
Damn
It's like she's never seen the notorious "Traingirl" video.
I don't think I ever seen that video. Do you have a link to it?
I only found this one with this title:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w612s5faYtE&rco=1
What is that?
The what now?
WHAT THE FUCK
She would have had time to pass if she had heard him coming.
Trains are notoriously stealthy
The Indian apex predator.
they often operate near industrial area or other trains. it's very easy to get confused about the specific sound you're hearing. that's a reason it's important to look
source: actually saw this discussed in a safety video, many people have been struck because they thought the train sound they were hearing was a different nearby train they could see, and not a different train they had their back to
If she lived her whole life pulling shit like this I’m surprised to see she actually reached such an age.
In all seriousness tho, was she hard of hearing? Or was it just pure arrogance on her part? The world will never know
Pure arrogance. She said to herself, "fuck that train; it can stop for ME"
That made me laugh, I’m inclined to agree with you on that one!
Dementia. It happens.
It’s very sad if that’s the case. She shouldn’t have been out alone with dementia
Jesus! That's horrible! Poor lady.
Holy shit. Gonna need a pressure washer for that clean up. Homeboy on the bike looking up and wondering what caused the mess.
The guy on the motorcycle just sitting there trying to figure out what just happened, hopefully not traumatized for too long when he realized.
He would definitely be traumatized by seeing the scattered body parts.
I hope the guy on the bike got some counseling. It cuts just as he’s beginning to realize something is wrong, he must have heard it but she was already gone by the time he glanced up. The stain on the road seemed to have clued him in.

Does the instinct for self-preservation fade with age? After all, we learn to cross the road safely around the age of 6.
I recently witnessed my 89-year-old mother almost launch herself down the basement stairs because she thought she was at the entrance to the hall that leads to her bathroom. Elderly people get confused easily.
Damn, I really thought she cleared it in time.. RIP someone’s grandma
missing these type ofposts from reddit all the raw subs are gone.
i learnt more about safety from these type of posts than any educational posts
I have a safety tip: don’t get hit by a train, that hurts. Lol
And just like that... obliterated. Sheesh. Poor grams.
Hopefully she died instantly
That guy who just witnessed granny splatter all over the place is going to remember this for ever
Red misty vibe. Fucking sad. At least she didn't suffer
By the way she literally exploded, I have to wonder if he caught a bit of "spray". Like, sitting there scrolling and all of a sudden his visor has a bunch of red droplets on it.
I think not as she was knocked away from him at a 45 deg. But who knows
Where's Dexter when you need him.
She was carrying a watermelon and a gallon of tomato sauce, right? Right?!?
And a spare leg?
Omg did that train rip her legs off!!!
Sad and horrible way to go but also so not needed just wait!
Why the fuck was she crossing.
Omg that poor guy on the bike just watched that shit happen. He looks like he’s frozen and in total shock.
EDIT: omfg. I just realized it was a PASSENGER train. I hope those people were at an angle where they couldn’t see it happen…
Just wait Fucking few minutes, why people are so desperate around trains?
You say crushed, I say violently disarticulated
The motorcyclist unintentionally saved himself trauma by being on his phone. He didn't even see it happen lol
Apex Predator
Jesus arms popped off like an action figure
A leg, too
Is this in romania?
You will NEVER win against the train.
The guy on the motorcycle just act like nothing happened
Whatever I was expecting, it wasn't that...rest in peace to that lady, holy fffff
I hope when I go it’s something like this. Just, Lights on, lights off. No fear, no anxiety, just a quick and tidy step out into the void.
Easily the wildest videos I've seen today
She woulda made it if she didn’t slow down out of confidence.
That double take when the bike guy notices
I cant believe people can just explode like that
I'm curious to see but I'm going to try not to because it's wrong to use the misery of others as entertainment but a part of me really wants to look!
and
I will likely feel guilty & I hate feeling guilty over a cheap thrill.
Imo satisfying morbid curiosity is closer akin to education than it is entertainment. So, I guess I won't look after I wrote all that LOL
That's sad. But she should have known better.
She was so close to clearing the track.
Another grandma too in over her head expecting the entire world will wait until she is done crossing.
I thought she made it ☹️😞
Biker did not give a FUCK😭
She blew into pieces
Damn. She went human piñata Rip
Guy on the bike… ha ha ha ha
Quedó como un rompecabezas
That’s no reindeer!
Bros seen this before.
This broke my heart...
Maybe she did this on purpose?
Is she dead ?
nonchalant motorcyclist
Guy on the bike was looking at his phone and likely did t hear anything either. The speed of the impact would make it very easy to miss if you’re not watching directly.
The biker seemed… Relatively unfazed by watching someone get exploded.
Exploded dammmm
I'll never get how people can just wait until the train passes. 😑
i was hoping against hope that she would somehow make it. Just 2 seconds more and it would have been a close shave instead of this
Granny really went out with a Bang
this makes me so sad
I think she didn’t even feel it and the guy on the motorcycle didn’t even notice it lol
I feel awful now
Poor grandma 😭
The guy was on the phone and didn't noticed?
she was so close…….
this is so tragic
I’d like to see the full footage. The safety bars are down behind her, but she walked so slowly that perhaps they were up as she walked by then came down after she had passed them. If that was the case, she had no way of knowing she shouldn’t have been on the tracks. She may be deaf and didn’t hear the bells either. If she had family, it must have been horrible to find out what happened to her, and it was filmed which only makes it worse. If she was my mother or grandmother I sure as hell wouldn’t want people watching her get killed.
the guy on the motorcycle mustve been so confused and then probably followed by being traumatised for life wtf
She will be mist.
Was expecting more of a reaction from the motorcyclist lol
If only there was a way to know when not to cross
Poor guy on the motorcycle will have this moment engrained in his brain for the rest of his life. 😞
The guy in the motorcycle nonchalant about the situation. “Typical Tuesday”.
Yo bro motorcycle driver is okay?
Dude in the motorcycle really was like "Oh. So that just happened."
Probably in shock
How's that guy on the motorcycle didn't saw bits of granny flinging in front of him?
