About a month ago I picked up my first Nothing product, the Ear (2024). Overall, I really like them, but they beep and click way too much.

I keep getting random clicks and tonal alerts that don’t seem tied to anything obvious. These aren’t notification sounds from my iPhone,they’re clearly coming from the earbuds themselves.

To clarify, this isn’t a fit issue or signal interference. The sounds feel like intentional system tones, almost like low-battery alerts, except they aren’t related to battery level. There also seem to be multiple different click/tonal patterns (at least four), and I can’t find any explanation for what each one means.

Has anyone else experienced this or know what these tones indicate or how to turn them off?
