Damn, rock hiking is some dangerous shit. I've been lucky enough to only slip on rocks when there's deep water below me. Still scarry as shit even with the lower stakes. Probably the best place he could have landed at least. Better a patch of green twigs than off a cliff or on a boulder.
At Uni I was doing a mapping project in the pyrenees, slipped and slid and rolled about 50 yards, got lucky nothing really hurt but legs and arms were pretty bruised, it's scary having so little control over your body and having no idea where you are going to end up, mountain I was on had loads of Vipers on it as well which did go through my mind. When my professor turned up a few days later he asked about the bruises when I told him the story, he said "Oh yeah I'm meant to tell you not to cover that area as the rocks are too slippy to work without ropes".
No entiendo porque hacen eso sin tener zapatos con spikes y además sin guantes, lo más chingón fue como pudo grabarlo todo!! Es mejor camarógrafo que escalador!!!
Wet sanding provides a smoother finish
Superb comment, you had me laughing like a drain
Selfie stick better cameraman than half the vids in here.
That hurt my hands watching him slide down that hill
With those trees coming in hot, I'd keep my legs closed
unfortunately I think your eyes would also not be able to see them
First thing i thought was imagine getting a tree right in the nuts
I think you should be more worried about not being stabbed in the eye.

A dedicated camera man for once!
Looks like a stupidly dangerous hike in bad weather.
I heard this technique will give you the smoothest hands….
Oh ouch, those hands would be raw

It's a 360° camera on a stick mounted to his backpack
And it did its job admirably
I heard the Goofy yell while watching this.
I hope he is ok
Cameraman never dies

Anyone know if he survived?
You can see him check his hands at the end. Seems to be ok
Is it important?
Ouch!
