It's all they can do. Fascists create nothing. They have no ideals or culture of their own. They just smash things, or take things (or ideas) and pervert them.
So now we get to hear about the "sin of empathy" and other nonsense.
It’s not even just people who don’t like him. It’s any argument against him. They just reply “TDS” without having to think or come up with any real argument. It’s lazy.
It goes back pretty far too. Skipping tons of details and most of the batshittery, in 2019 a (married) MAGA man became obsessed with me, and Trump Derangement Syndrome came up several times in his crashout rants after I rejected him.
It was getting scary so I couldn't respond to anything he sent without adding fuel to the fire, but I really wanted to point out that if anyone had TDS it was him...
Originally it was. But they take everything and pretend they invented it and say it's theirs. Just like how Trump invented groceries, or whatever word he just heard for the first time.
Yep. He literally said Reiner was murdered for criticizing the paedo-in-chief:
passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused othersthrough his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME
And at the top of the article, they have this quote:
Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS. He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before.
That's basically the entire post. What do you expect from the media, should they just put the whole post in the title, otherwise it is "sane washing"? Shame on them for expecting their readers to actually read the article?
Its pretty clear you don't want an answer, but I will give you one anyway:
An honest, informative (and shorter) headline: Trump says Rob Reiner was Murdered for Criticizing Him
Shame on them for expecting their readers to actually read the article?
Yes! Shame on them for using the most dull, uninformative headline imaginable. Their headline told readers "you've seen it a thousand times before, don't waste your time bothering to click through and read this article."
The function of journalism is to inform. A headline like that does the opposite. Especially in a system designed to show people a hundred headlines for every article they read, it is incumbent on news publishers to write highly informative headlines.
Is there any way to read Trump's post other than that he thought at the time of posting it that his own supporters murdered Reiner, and Trump was using it to intimidate others who are against him?
we're a decade into dealing with this dumbass in the news every single day and he still finds ways to be an even bigger piece of shit than he was yesterday, it's truly astounding.
He literally said Reiner and his wife died because they hated Trump and had "Trump Derangement Syndrome." The current, sitting US President said that a prominent Hollywood actor - who was killed by his own son - died because he criticized Trump.
Of course, no one in the media will bother interrogating the implications of this at any level. They've already moved on from one of the most batfuck insane and morally abhorrent things this orange pants-shitting monster has said in ten years of monstrous things, he but it's pretty clear that Donald Trump is just flat-out saying that death is a logical outcome for anyone who disagrees with his policies, because he has gone fully and completely fascist.
In a world where the media wasn't completely and totally broken, he and his press secretary would be hounded day and night with questions as to why he thinks the Reiners died from "Trump Derangement Sydnrome." Why he would tweet out something so repulsive while occupying the White House.
But they aren't, and they won't.
The Reiners were killed by their own son, who has been struggling with addiction and mental health issues for years, and who may have just gone on a new medication regimen which may have produced the tragic and violent reaction. Literally isn't even in the realm of having anything to do with politics.
But for Trump, that doesn't matter. He enjoys reveling in the death of his detractors. He especially loves signaling to his many deeply mentally disturbed cultists that people who criticize him should die, that that is a desirable and expected outcome for criticizing him.
I'm sure right now Jake Tapper is furiously hammering out a second book about how sleepy Biden is.
He also said Rob Reiner was bad for the county, clearly implicating his death being a good thing from his perspective. It's insane, but all of our institutions folded immediately at the chance to be had by a dictator, so here we are doing nothing about it. The queue of people lining up to piss on his eventual tombstone is going to be so long that we might need to rejoin the British empire so they can show us how to queue properly.
That subreddit is profoundly manipulated. After most every dipshit thing Donald Trump does, a good number of posters will react in a sensible way. And then in a day or two, the moderators will eradicate any evidence that anyone ever disagreed, and will ban anyone who expresses a narrative counter to the one they've established.
It's a bad joke of a subreddit, and an enduring and endless irony that the internet's most vocal proponents of free speech can only exist in a subreddit more heavily locked down than North Korea.
And that so many of them can continue to exist in that way without ever actually seeing the irony of their existence.
who was killed by his own son - died because he criticized Trump.
It's worth emphasising that Trump didn't know it was his son who had killed him at the point he put the original message out so he was in fact predicting that Reiner had been murdered by one of his supporters while seemingly endorsing and excusing the reasoning behind it.
Yep for sure. The one that sticks with me is when he was openly laughing at Nancy Pelosi's husband being hit on the skull with a hammer at his rallies. Trump is such an immoral piece of scum.
He'd also pissed off a lot of people for starting to challenge US support for Is*rael. He'd fallen out with Trump over it in the weeks leading up to the shooting.
I'm veering dangerously into conspiracy territory by pointing this out, but it's suspicious as hell that the shooting happened on the same day Is*rael attacked Qatar. While the rest of the world talked about THAT, we were freaking out about Kirk.
The far right were declaring war on America in the aftermath of the Kirk killing. We saw in that moment that they wanted to use that as a “Reichstag fire” moment to overthrow our government.

“Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.”
Well, that's what many conservatives are doing. We know this feud between pro- and anti-Israel conservatives isn't about Palestine or genocide.
What Sartre is saying is an accurate description of what Tucker Carlson does. He uses that method of asking questions in a sly way, making the face of a curious child, because he wants to achieve something. I just don't know yet if he's genuinely antisemitic, like Nick Fuentes, or if he's trying to garner support from groypers and supremacists (edit:or both).
I'm not sure if we can call it "sealioning" because I don't see him as trying to troll the other side by asking for evidence. When he's debating with someone who disagrees with him, it looks more like he's trying to affirm his position by cornering the other person with questions. When he's talking with someone who agrees with him, he asks questions that reinforce his position.
The most annoying thing is the faces he does and his reactions. He tries to look very innocent and honestly curious. Tucker is the kind of person I wonder if has genuine emotions because he always seems to be acting.
He wrote that just after WWII, commenting about how Europe got to the point that they had a massive war including genocide of millions of Jewish people. He was very close to the details and the horrors.
Since then, we have seen how the patterns of thinking and actions that he described apply in other circumstances like “MAGA” today. Not that they aren’t antisemitic, but the patterns are there even if they haven’t totally ripped the mask off yet. (Though with MTG, Fuentes, Candice Owen’s, etc ascendant they aren’t far off.)
I really think a big problem with political discourse in USA today (and maybe more places) is that we even pay attention to the stupid arguments from the right. Do you really try to "debate" a flat-earther instead of just thinking "wow that's stupid" and walking away?
They've done a wonderful job convincing America that we need to respect everyone's opinions...
Of course they don't respect everyone, but they scream and holler so loudly when theit beliefs are questioned that it's a real narrative people actually believe now.
And I for one would love to go back to a time where we just laugh and call people stupid when they sound stupid.
It's a very simple thought experiment. Do we have to respect Jeffrey Epstein and his lifestyle??
If the answer is no... That it means all opinions and lifestyles are not actually deserving of respect and thus we can stop pretending like every single person is deserving of respect for simply having "different opinions."
This is conservatives in a nutshell. They can't be racist, because they've never worn a KKK hood. They're not misogynistic, because they've never beat up a woman. They think in terms of identity, their actions can't be something that doesn't align with their identity.
I never knew people's true propensity for disingenuous bullshit until these last ten years. Like we're all being gaslit while the gaslighters gaslight themselves.
We'd get so far so fast without all of this nonsense. Dude knew exactly what OP was talking about and chose to get semantic instead of actually having a conversation....its always so exhausting.
This really is it. Conservatives will nowadays agree with the following phrase completely unironically without hearing themselves: "racism isn't really a problem today, the real problem is all these minorities!"
I know a guy from work whose attitude is “I’m not racist bro, I just don’t like black people or mexicans. I’m not misogynistic, what’s that? But women shouldn’t be allowed to vote because they have a role in the household”
Had a Redditor tell me "It's not racist to not want to live in black neighborhoods. I have tons of black friends and they don't want to live in those neighborhoods either!"
Reminds me of one of my favorite Asterix quotes where an old man goes on a rant about how "I don't hate foreigners, some of my best friends are foreigners, it's just these foreigners aren't from around here"
They're not misogynistic, because they've never beat up a woman.
And if they did do it, it was both in the past and they've changed from that time, and also not actually their fault, she deserved it for not knowing her place. It's not because they're a misogynist though.
"Jesus forgives. I didn't read any of the rest of what he said about redemption being visible through changing the character and action of the person, that's too much. I just want the free trip to heaven to be with my victims"
Meh I know plenty of conservatives that hit their wives and kids. Pretty common. Some cops, some firefighters. Head of the town over police chief just got canned for beating his wife.
They think they cannot be this label because they aren't the caricature of it they think of. It's like my stepfather says, "I'm not an alcoholic, alcoholics go to meetings. I can stop if I want to, I'm a drunk, there's a difference."
So tired of that obvious MAGA ragebait bullshit. We had menorahs and Kwanzaa candles in my elementary school in the early ‘80s. No one is waging war, you fucking babies.
I don't think their problem is that other holidays exist. They feel like Christmas is being erased. To some degree, we have moved away from explicit references to Christmas in December. My dad does contracting, with clients across the political spectrum. He's defaulted to "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays" on the signature line on emails.
The folks who got mad at the Starbucks cups were initially mad because Starbucks was only using tree and ornament illustrations on their cups (they never had anything else; never manger scenes lol). Then Starbucks tried to end the controversy by putting out solid red cups, which was a harebrained idea if they thought that was going to silence the controversy lol. It made it worse.
And what ‘right’ was mourning? Didnt trump make a huge deal out of reiner being a struggling filmmaker and rhat he brought this on all by himself? So reiner who may have spoken against trump deserved to die but kirk who spoke against everybody that was a white hetero man didnt deserve it?
I was talking about it with a Trump supporter I know, specifically this Epstein situation.
He kept talking about how the "evidence" already out wasn't convincing. He doesn't believe in vaccines or covid but this massive network of witness testimonies, flight logs, correspondence, histories, connections, and Trump's own words and behaviours weren't convincing enough.
So I kept asking him what proof would be convincing. A video of the act? No that could be doctored. The woman speaking up herself? No she could be lying or misremembering.
In the end, he just literally admitted that it was "all too political" now and it would be impossible to know for sure.
And that, in a nutshell, is MAGA. They don't care. They just don't give a shit.
I worked at this sewing shop and the owners were conservative, also shady as fuck. The last day I worked before the holidays, I’m headed out the door and the owners are in the shop. They say Merry Christmas. I say happy holidays to them cheerily. Well didn’t they turn it into an attempt to get me to say Merry Christmas. They say Merry Christmas again in a way that is telling me to say it back to them. I’m like yes, happy holidays! They then say “We say Merry Christmas”. So I say “yah, we are saying the same thing, anyways happy holidays!” And go out the door.
It was so freaking weird. They took me saying happy holidays as I’m telling them to also say happy holidays. But I did not care one bit that they say Merry Christmas. I like happy holidays because there are so many holidays going on and it also includes NYE. So even removing the acknowledgment of other holidays, to me it would still make sense to say happy holidays because there’s Christmas and NYE. Like, the existence of other holidays is not eliminating Christmas. They can all exist at the same time.
“Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. It's essentially : "There is nothing you can say that will convince me to change my perspective. Your inability to change my perspective means I am right. Because I am right, that means we are both right but actually I am more right and you are wrong. There are a lot of people who agree with me so I cannot possibly be wrong."
It's because lying by omission is their entire ideology. They genuinely believe that people can't tell that they're doing it. A conservative's entire value system is built on the idea that they can lie about anything they want at any moment, and if someone has a problem with it then they're a villain.
Spot on. Lying by omission and never taking accountability when called out. Those 2 factors make it so conservatives can claim others are hypocrites while themselves being hypocrites
Hitler never said "I hate minorities" either, he only blamed them for every single problem in his country, as well as many problems that didn't exist, exactly like, oh would you look at that, Charlie Kirk!
I hate how I had personal experience with someone like that, except it was about Rowling denying nazis targeted trans people.
For context, she commented on a post about book burning of trans books, calling it 'a fever dream'.
The person I was arguing with refused to acknowledge that calling book burning a fever dream is denying that lgbt people were also targeted by nazis. It's plain and simple holocaust denial, but because she said nothing about nazis, trans people, or even book burning, then it doesn't count? The mental gymnastics were reprehensible.
They have entire schools and lesson plans and books and seminars and lectures, thousands upon thousands, billions of dollars invested through professional development programs and awards, certificates, and cultural structures, all of this is dedicated to learning one thing: manipulation
It’s the same gimmick Scott Adams uses to divert attention from Trump’s dumb “both sides” comments.
You don’t defend the actual comments, because that’s too hard. You defend the speaker against the inexact quotes and unsupported conclusions others make. And then dumb dumbs consider that an effective rebuttal of all reasonable criticisms of the speaker’s comments as well.
It wasn’t lost on me that after CK’s death, Republicans tried tying it to “the left”, because they desperately need people to believe that “the left” is as bad as the republicans elected into office.
You will never convince me that this man-child is able to mourn anyone, Charlie Kirk included.
He knows how to pout, how to whine, how to hold a grudge and how to poop himself, but mourning is a deep and highly introspective process that someone as shallow as cheeto baby just isn't equipped to handle.
It's a bad feeling, and he hates bad feelings, so he gives himself a lot of treats, and begs for praise until the bad feelings go away.
That's it. That's his whole thought process. "I like it, it's mine. I hate it, make it go away and make me feel good again". And his entourage complies.
The sheer amount of shit he's done since he began his tenure would have destroyed any politician. Unluckily, he's not a politician, he's a "businessman" dabbling in politics, and so it seems lile no one expects anything of him, lest of all accountability.
They'll point to him saying its sad as proof that they're correct, ignoring literally everything else. Just like Chalie Kirk never literally said "I hate minorities". They know the implication is there, but hate is so central to their core beliefs that anything is justified.
The fact he died literally as he was making light of gun violence is probably the most perfect case of irony I have ever seen.
Of course even though it’s was such a horrible tragedy to the right nothing changed with gun laws at all. Just more thoughts and prayers. I guess unless it hurts a minority in some way then that’s all they’re capable of.
How anybody takes Joey Salads seriously is a mystery to me. The guy literally faked several videos to make the left and the black community look like violent thugs. Not to mention he literally dresses up as a Nazi and drank his own piss for a video.
They refuse to use their comprehension skills to understand the impact of Kirk's words. Because he didn't say outright that he hates minorities and values white people in supremacy, then clearly he's not racist. It's the willful ignorance that absolutely enrages me.
Some of these people really do live in their own bubbles huh? The right mourned Reiner?? Trump openly celebrated his death and didn't walk it back. Shut up.
And yes. The podcaster that said he questioned the qualifications of black pilots was indeed racist.
Exactly. Much of what I saw was just pointing out the fact that Kirk was a terrible person who didn't even think Empathy was real. Also pointing out the blatant hypocrisy of conservatives who lowered flags literally to half staff for some unelected influencer, but completely ignored or celebrated themselves the deaths of an elected lawmaker like Melissa Hortman, and her husband just a few months prior.
Most people didn't celebrate insomuch as just, you know, didn't mourn them. And nobody is forced to morn assholes any differently than I didn't mourn Dick Cheney.
These people are not literate. They do not understand, willfully or passively, that you can say you hate something without literally saying “hi my name is X and I hate Y.” They will use the fact charlie never said that specifically as proof he didn’t spread hate. They are not serious people.
Yknow what’s funny? They’ll get mad at you for saying “punch Nazis,” because they think you’re talking about anyone mildly conservative and threatening violence; they can make THAT leap of logic, but can’t imagine ol’ Charlie meant anything by “gang violence” other than the literal words he said.
Rob Riener made movies that made us happy and brought people together. Charlie Cunt made podcasts that made us angry and divided. These are not the same.
He wasn't racist, he just thought that MLK and the civil rights movement were a bad idea, black people are unqualified and criminals, and immigration from shithole countries is destroying the white Christian blood of this country. See the difference? /s
A lot of people pretend MAGA is not racist at its core without ever inspecting the rhetoric from a critical perspective. A lot of it is willfully ignorance. As long as I don't own slaves and aren't lynching people then I can't be racist, right?
Didn't Trump post a whole bigass tweet about how Reiner was mean to him?
It was much worse than that.
Never seen someone with so little decorum. “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” The only people with that syndrome are himself and his followers
Trump himself is Patient Zero.
I thought Trump Derangement Syndrome was about MAGA up until last week. It just made sense.
It was, they just try to co-opt it to mean "people who don't like Trump" because it connects not liking Trump with mental health issues
And also they really love redefining shit in their favor. It’s annoying.
It’s lazy.
… but they also dismiss mental health science as fake.
Imagine being that hypocritical and disingenuous.
Fucking scum.
Maga people are deranged, correct.
Definition of deranged: adjective (of a person) wildly irrational or uncontrolled.
They are irrational.
Originally it was. But they take everything and pretend they invented it and say it's theirs. Just like how Trump invented groceries, or whatever word he just heard for the first time.
Yep. He literally said Reiner was murdered for criticizing the paedo-in-chief:
What's worse, not even the so-called "liberal media" could bring themselves to clearly say that. MSNBC/MSNOW sane-washed it as: "Trump responds to Rob Reiner’s death in the most Trumpian way possible."
The worse he gets, the more the billionaire-owned media works overtime to cover for him.
And at the top of the article, they have this quote:
That's basically the entire post. What do you expect from the media, should they just put the whole post in the title, otherwise it is "sane washing"? Shame on them for expecting their readers to actually read the article?

At the very least it should read Trump falsely claims that Rob Reiner was Murdered for Criticizing Him
Is there any way to read Trump's post other than that he thought at the time of posting it that his own supporters murdered Reiner, and Trump was using it to intimidate others who are against him?
How about they put that in the headline?
When Trump sent that out, he thought that one of his supporters did the murders. If you can stomach it, re read the statement.
Yeah, I was expecting a self-centered garbage tweet but even I was shocked by what he actually wrote.
we're a decade into dealing with this dumbass in the news every single day and he still finds ways to be an even bigger piece of shit than he was yesterday, it's truly astounding.
Right. He said that Reiner brought it on himself by speaking out against Trump.
He literally said Reiner and his wife died because they hated Trump and had "Trump Derangement Syndrome." The current, sitting US President said that a prominent Hollywood actor - who was killed by his own son - died because he criticized Trump.

I was surprised that even r/conservative was disgusted with Trumps response.

Which is the same stochastic terrorism he has been engaged in for ten years. The same sort he used to stage a coup.on Jan 6th.
Yep for sure. The one that sticks with me is when he was openly laughing at Nancy Pelosi's husband being hit on the skull with a hammer at his rallies. Trump is such an immoral piece of scum.
And the right was celebrating Charlie’s Kirk’s death as a political win. They literally threw a party in AZ
Lest we forget, a large segment of the right hated Kirk because he was “too moderate”
Pretending to listen to your opposition is apparently a bridge too far for them these days.
Yup. worser and worser
Like the person who shot him in the fucking neck.
The person who's been celebrating his death the most has been his "grieving widow".
She's been having a blast the last couple months.
That's what I was going to say. Erica Kirk started throwing parties like a week after he died
now she's got gold sequins and fireworks! So sad!
Luckily, Charlie always taught us not to listen to single mothers.
The sixth stage of grieving for the right is pyrotechnics.
That made me snort.
I mean wouldn't you if now you got everything and didn't have to divorce him for it?
His wife is still on the Grief World Tour ffs lol
Widow.
Did you see the latest clip shared from Lincoln Project? She straight up Freudian-called the guest a grifter.
Many called it their "Reichstag" moment, literally comparing themselves to Nazis.
The far right were declaring war on America in the aftermath of the Kirk killing. We saw in that moment that they wanted to use that as a “Reichstag fire” moment to overthrow our government.
He essentially said that Rob Reiner was killed because Reiner didnt like Trump.
Meanwhile his fans are saying it’s ok because people didn’t like Charlie Kirk.
Reiner condemned the murder of Charlie Kirk.
Facts just don't matter to some people.
You could say, their feelings don't care about the facts.
They won't change thier views to fit the facts, they'll change the facts to fit thier views. Which is a terrible inconvenience if you are one of the facts that needs changing.
Yea, what delusional world are they living in where "the Right Mourns a tragedy"? I don't even see them mourn any school shootings at this point.
The Hate Admiration flows through out that Whitehouse. Just vile, petty and unapologetic. Protecting pedophiles 2025
And then double downed on it in a press conference.
The dude crossed a line and danced on his grave.

― Jean-Paul Sartre
Wow Sartre, swap in “conservative” for “antisemite” and I would think he met my mother!
Wow this Sartre guy seems pretty smart. Wonder what that's about!
😂
just don't google what he did with his friends in 1979
Similarly I won’t google the name of Lovecrafts cat
Well, that's what many conservatives are doing. We know this feud between pro- and anti-Israel conservatives isn't about Palestine or genocide.

Don't bother. They're looking for quotes where Charlie literally said "I hate [x]." Implicit comments, of which there are many, don't count.
Of course, they'll jump right at you if you say "Happy Holidays" as if you're waging a war on the Christ child himself.
This is conservatives in a nutshell. They can't be racist, because they've never worn a KKK hood. They're not misogynistic, because they've never beat up a woman. They think in terms of identity, their actions can't be something that doesn't align with their identity.
But when they do wear the KKK hood, the goalposts just move to instead something like:
Etc. etc. I didn't do it, but if I did do it, it was just a joke. If the joke wasn't funny, you're just too sensitive...So on and so forth.
Woah careful there. That last paragraph is starting to look like the narcissists prayer
Surprising no one.
*It was a different time (like 5 years ago), blackface wasn't a big deal back then
muh huritage
"Muh huritage"
- Irish and German immigrants living in Pennsylvania
My aunt and uncle, everyone.
It usually works to pivot to a word they kind of know that isn't racist.
Like prejudiced.
"Oh dude you're not racist, just prejudiced" And they'll happily agree.
Like Michael Scott agreeing he's misogynistic but doesn't hate women.
Michael Scott is actually a great example of a modern conservative, we just all like Steve Carell.
Had a Redditor tell me "It's not racist to not want to live in black neighborhoods. I have tons of black friends and they don't want to live in those neighborhoods either!"
It's always the same bs.
They always have convenient anecdotal minorities that agree with them, like all the gay friends that hate the lgbt community.
Reminds me of one of my favorite Asterix quotes where an old man goes on a rant about how "I don't hate foreigners, some of my best friends are foreigners, it's just these foreigners aren't from around here"
And if they did do it, it was both in the past and they've changed from that time, and also not actually their fault, she deserved it for not knowing her place. It's not because they're a misogynist though.
"Jesus forgives. I didn't read any of the rest of what he said about redemption being visible through changing the character and action of the person, that's too much. I just want the free trip to heaven to be with my victims"
Rule #1 before forming any conservative opinion: I am right
Meanwhile if you suggest that systemic racism is a thing, they’ll flail on the floor and demand you get rid of “DEI, CRT, affirmative action” etc.
Low IQ people think their intentions matter more than their actions.
Meh I know plenty of conservatives that hit their wives and kids. Pretty common. Some cops, some firefighters. Head of the town over police chief just got canned for beating his wife.
The only surprising thing is that he actually suffered consequences.
Agreed. I think he made it too obvious to ignore. Total hubris of being above the law
Edit: openly violated an order of protection from a previous order of protection and additional domestic violence
"As long as he doesn't say 'I'm a racist nazi who hates minorities' you are obviously a liar without proof"
Omg yes he said he doesn't like specific black women because of their race, but he never said they were n words in public so he's not racist.
And yes the last book I read was the Bible, and no I did not read it
And what ‘right’ was mourning? Didnt trump make a huge deal out of reiner being a struggling filmmaker and rhat he brought this on all by himself? So reiner who may have spoken against trump deserved to die but kirk who spoke against everybody that was a white hetero man didnt deserve it?
ETA wasnt
Trump wrote a really shit post when Reiner died. There was nothing supportive and mournful about it.
Also whatever quote you do post of Charlie’s, their response is always “that’s out of context.”
Then you find the context. Turns out... it's even worse than the quote alone.
Every fucking time. And even in context they’ll contort the words to “well this is what he really means…”
Anyone that doesn’t think Charlie Kirk was racist either doesn’t know anything about Charlie Kirk or is also racist.
or that "black lives matter" somehow means "white lives dont"
https://preview.redd.it/z90ymv6dvk8g1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=4466781b17653d23ecdc6f78f86b0df9560a2bd5
Yet, they could see an AI image of Obama and Epstein and be frothing at the mouth to throw Obama in jail in less than 5 seconds.
Jean Paul Sartre
It’s because they are functionally illiterate
And/or simply lying. We shouldn't underestimate the fact that they consider truth a distant second, if that, to their own claims.
Two kinds of faith: "in Jesus," and "bad."
Also, Trump definitely wasn't mourning the loss of Rob Reiner.
They don’t care about the truth, never have but now they’re more blatantly willing to lie and twist it to fit their agenda.

“Mourns a tragedy”
They'll point to him saying its sad as proof that they're correct, ignoring literally everything else. Just like Chalie Kirk never literally said "I hate minorities". They know the implication is there, but hate is so central to their core beliefs that anything is justified.
Two things in this world that will never grow old:

My teenager heard me tell my husband about this and he gave a great laugh. Good job
Speaking of which:
Was Charlie Kirk religious? Well, he did seem pretty hole-y.
Why did Vance move in on Kirk so quickly after his death? Because Charlie became a recliner.
How'd Charlie's last debate go? Looks like he lost by a long shot.
I thought anti-vaxxers were supposed to avoid shots.
What does Erika Kirk have that Usha Vance doesn't? Vance's dick.
What does Usha Vance have that Erika Kirk doesn't? Couch cushions to clean.
Damn buddy.
I know! It’s been such a long time since he said anything racist
Its pretty wild the way he leaned left on gun control there at the end
https://youtu.be/R0IUR4gkPIE?si=v9LV9tzge6yJ7I6n
Oooffff
I guffawed
The only thing I'll miss is seeing a new photo of him and trying to figure out if that's really his face or someone shrunk his features again.
I just spewed hot tea out my nose. That is the best joke ever
annnd I'm going to hell
Dying doing what he loved
Charlie Kirk loved spreading racism and hate. It was literally what he was doing the day he died
That guy fucking hated Martin Luther King Jr, I mean that's kind of a red flag as far as racism goes.
He thought the Civil Rights Act was a bad thing.
Now we can’t be sure those were his last words. Just the last words before.. yknow
"Not if you count the gurgling sound..."
It’s telling that Rob Reiner’s quotes don’t need any extra context when you quote them.
The Dear Leader of the right sure has an unusual way of “mourning”…
Trump shat all over Rob Reiner publicly the day after he died.
Find me a person on the left more prominent than a twitter rando who did the same for Kirk
Look up how trump “mourned” the tragedy
Damn, my favorite Pokemon is spitting facts
get his ass, giratina !
Charlie who?
*Charlie was.
The only proper response.
Im mean Laura Loomer literally did a good riddance post- how is the right “mourning”
Also what Trump said.
Out of curiosity, what were his last words actually?
https://preview.redd.it/a1invwnv9m8g1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9bb0c54a5bbfc95e3254fbe9ececea932acba596
No, really
"Counting or not counting gang violence?"
When asked how many mass shootings there were.
Someone asked about gun violence and he asked if they were counting gang violence.
Did this guy already forget about what Orange Leader posted about Reiner? The literal leader of 'the right'?
It’s so easy to list CK hatred of minorities, but MAGA don’t want to argue, because it will make the whole White fan base angry
CK hated the same people that MAGA hates, so everything he did was ok.
"It's not hatred, it's truth."
That's their defense.
Also, did they not see Trump’s tweet about Rob Reiner’s death?
How anybody takes Joey Salads seriously is a mystery to me. The guy literally faked several videos to make the left and the black community look like violent thugs. Not to mention he literally dresses up as a Nazi and drank his own piss for a video.
Plus, he directed The Princess Bride.
Which is a million times more meaningful to this world than anything Charlie Kirk has said or did.
"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.".
Tsk why are people trying to be empathetic towards ol' kirky, don't they realize that it's a made up term? 😔
"mourns a tragedy" is an interesting way of saying celebrated what trump said about him, they sure love living in both worlds at once
They refuse to use their comprehension skills to understand the impact of Kirk's words. Because he didn't say outright that he hates minorities and values white people in supremacy, then clearly he's not racist. It's the willful ignorance that absolutely enrages me.
This motherfucker died choking on his racists dog whistling, and people be like "I NeEd OnE ExAmPlE"
I’d never wish death on anyone but everyday he’s gone I don’t feel worse about.
Some of these people really do live in their own bubbles huh? The right mourned Reiner?? Trump openly celebrated his death and didn't walk it back. Shut up.
And yes. The podcaster that said he questioned the qualifications of black pilots was indeed racist.
Most of the "celebrating" wasn't even directed at Kirk himself dying. It was mocking the political circus that followed and is still ongoing.
Name one moment this box head didn't speak to hate on minorities
Giratina should know. Charlie Kirk is probably down there with them.
Charlie Kirk died doing what he loved. Lying about trans people and making a racist dog-whistle.
He really appealed to people who don’t like to think
Trump talked a bunch of shit about Reiner immediately after he found out
Mourning. Right.
I am glad Charlie Kirk is dead, eat it maga.
Terrible human dies, reasonable people celebrate.
Wonderful human dies, the right spends a week apologizing for the tactless and predictable comments from dear leader.
Joey salads is a well known YouTube troll. Doesn't surprise me he's on the MAGA grift.
The "do your own research" people really don't be doing any research
Did I miss the coverage of the right mourning the Reiner family tragedy?
I always remind people that all the time when they try to defend that Nazi. His literal last words were him being racist.
Right wingers are such snowflakes. My God.
Where is this, "the right mourns Rob Reiner" coming from? Didn't trump tweet about how deranged he was?
He would literally push the great replacement theory
These people are not literate. They do not understand, willfully or passively, that you can say you hate something without literally saying “hi my name is X and I hate Y.” They will use the fact charlie never said that specifically as proof he didn’t spread hate. They are not serious people.
Yknow what’s funny? They’ll get mad at you for saying “punch Nazis,” because they think you’re talking about anyone mildly conservative and threatening violence; they can make THAT leap of logic, but can’t imagine ol’ Charlie meant anything by “gang violence” other than the literal words he said.
I don't know much about kirk, I try to stay away from Nazi's, but I can say he lost that debate by a longshot.
Oddly appropriate to have this in Murdered by Words.
I have yet to see ANY comment from a real "Left" that actually celebrated the assassination.
Kirk was a full-on bigot that incited stochastic terrorism, but at least he gave the appearance of debating with people.
Rob Riener made movies that made us happy and brought people together. Charlie Cunt made podcasts that made us angry and divided. These are not the same.
How is that racist? —MAGA proverb
This is the literacy/illiteracy problem Americans have. They have almost zero critical thinking comprehension skills.
It's not cool to be smart here
