This annoys me more than the cliche of a hero having his origin story told over and over again. Batman, Spiderman, Daredevil, Iron Man… basically all of the big ones have quit their super hero thing on Screen at least once, if not more, only to come back in the third act or the next film / a later episode.

With daredevil I feel like it’s half of what he does. I like the Netflix / Disney show a lot but it’s getting a bit tired that he is doing the same thing over and over again.

The dumbest one was in iron man 3 when he did it and as a viewer, you knew it was bullshit because they still needed him to sell toys so one movie later he just comes back full throttle, acting like it never happened.

The normal Modus operandi is to use it for the character low point before the third act, only to have the hero overcome his struggles, get back his suit in some clever way and get back out there stronger than ever.
