XXI. So, Italian date code says 1965. From what I have read, year 1 of Mussolini's New Holy Roman Empire started in 1944, so add the Roman numerals to 1944. The switched to a two letter code in the early 70's.

I was just given one a few weeks ago. Be super careful with the pegs on the insides of the grips. They are super easy to break/shear.
I found some aftermarket replacement grips on eBay, but they turned out to be 3/4" too long.
