His name is Milo. He ran away back in July. I’ve been looking for him around the city for months and haven’t been able to find him. Please DM me if you see a cat like this.

I've had one around my house but I don't think it's the same one. I haven't gotten the best look but I think it had more symmetrical markings on the face. Would you expect him to be skiddish? He skedaddled when he was there when I let my dog out the other night.
Of course! I will do my best to get a picture or a better look. The first time I saw him was late summer/early fall. I've only seen him a couple times but I know he's around from the foot prints. I'm just a couple blocks north of GFS.
Oh, if you're near GFS you're in my area. Is he fixed? I think we have a stray female in heat around here (late night cat choruses...), so if he's unneutered he may be in my area chasing her. I'll keep an eye out.
ETA, we own a small animal trap, so if you get a reliable sighting of him I'd be happy to loan it to you, just DM me.
I have seen a similar cat in my backyard over the last few months. I do not have a picture unfortunately. I live in the Central neighborhood not too far from Uptown and there are a lot of strays around here so Im not positive it would be your cat but may be worth walking around if you can!

If you have your vacuum cleaner bags with dust from your home, carefully spread it around the general area of your home.
Beyond that, have you been checking shelters and such fairly diligently and is it micro chipped?

I'm out of town for a couple days but I let my pet sitter know to keep an eye out and I'll try to bait him with some food when I'm back.

Ok this is crazy but hear me out. If you see a cat that isn't Milo, tell him/her to tell Milo to come home.
