What is the fucking point of Epstein files at this point? People who can be convinced by evidence are mostly convinced. People who don't give a shit never going to give a shit. It is just another line in a long list of Trump crimes that he never has to pay.
Are we waiting for the corrupt justice system that never hold Trump responsible to suddenly deliver justice?
Without researching it fully, I think that they are using the 9/11 Authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF) to conduct operations against Venezuela for greater than 60 days. That's why they keep calling them "narco-terrorists"... it's to tie it to the 9/11 Congressional approval (AUMF) still on the books. They don’t need congressional approval because they think they already have it from 25 years ago.
With Greenland, the thing is that it's a NATO ally. So that might make an order to attack unlawful, even before implicating the 60-day requirement from the War Powers Act.
Military operations in Panama lasted about 2 weeks, far short of 60 days after which the war powers act necessitates congressional approval to continue a conflict.
Would it at this point be considered military operations or continuing a conflict? I'm sure that they'll find some argument that it's not even if they have boots in the ground. And at this point, unless Republicans actually follow through with the removal part of the impeachment, what does he care about Congressional approval?
It’s been more than 60 days since hostilities have begun against the drug boats. The administration will argue that it already has congressional authorization because they are fighting narco terrorists, and the AUMF that Congress passed after 9/11 (and still in effect) authorizes them to continue to fight terrorists.
This is a weak argument and they probably would lose if someone brings them to court. Although it’d probably take a few months to a year to fully litigate.
Correct... and the entire Nordic council + Iceland have openly said we're backing Denmark.
And given the First Nation council of Greenland has also said "we're happy with Denmark"..
Literally all previous legal owners of Greenland have openly said its fine where it is and they would take it as an act of war if the US does anything.
Just to further clarify... THE FREAKING VIKINGS SAID LEAVE IT ALONE.
It would violate Article of the treaty ratified by congress making it US law.
“settle any international disputes in which they may be involved by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered, and to refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force in any manner inconsistent with the purposes of the United Nations.”
You crossed the line with Iraq. Obama restored your dignity in the world. But voting in Trump twice? Unforgiveable.
Already id advise Americans to cancel any upcoming trips to Colombia. The anger there is starting to boil. If you invade a European country you can forget your little trips to trace you great, great grandfather in places like Ireland, Italy, Poland.
Nah, the crew of whatever American vessels are in the area should be concerned.
Europe will not tread lightly in the face of fascism once again. If America strikes first, you better believe the response will be devastating and far better planned than anything Trump's army could come up with.
We're at the point where Trump admin just does stuff and military leaders are like...OK!
This isnt new. This has been happening for a long time. DT pushes the boundaries but he rarely does anything truly new. He looks at the past and says where is there something that has only been pushed so far, and then he keeps going with it. Executive military action without congressional authorization has been going on for a long time, encouraged by Congress, and while questions have been raised Congress has never actually acted to stop it, because they have seen the benefit of allowing the executive to act without it. So here we are.
As for this statement, it's toothless IMO. Who is going to take action against them? The Congress that cant agree to do anything real?
It is an illegal order. Conserv sub is trying to say the War Powers Act gives the President unilateral ability to use the military for anything for 60 days. That's not true, there are only three ways the President can utilize the military. A declaration of war (IE Congress says we're at war with X), a specific statutory authorization (this would be like GWOT), or "a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces." The last one is really where the President has broad authority to order strikes and military use outside of Congress for 60 days. South America is falling under the third one because POTUS declared a national emergency then said we are under attack by cartels and these drugs.
There is no twisting of words that you could say the US not having possession of Greenland is an attack upon the US. The only way to get around that is to be shady as fuck and have a false flag attack against our forces already there, say investigations are pointing towards it is citizens of Greenland doing it, then tossing troops over because "US armed forces were attacked by native Greenlanders." Which if that happens you know it's all fake.
While I agree with you and do not want to see anything at all happen with the military and Greenland.
I can see this admin concocting so narrative to make Greenland fit into one of the definitions. Congress legislated their powers away long ago, this admin is now learning how much power they have.
Do you think they actually need something to happen? Look at the killing of an innocent person by ICE in Minnesota. The administration is outright lying about that even though there’s videos at different angles showing contrary to the BS they’re spewing. Who’s to stop them from just saying that we’re being attacked in Greenland and then invading?
The combination of impeachment and enough military members refusing illegal orders until Congress takes control is the only way to stop this administration from inventing a narrative to invade Greenland.
Heck, Congress could impeach Trump today if they wanted to. But at the end of the day, Congress knows that we the people will fail to have their back should they move against Trump, just like we failed the first two times they impeached, so they sit idly by, waiting for us to pull our heads out of our asses.
its crazy to think we could see the dissolution of nato within our lifetime, international stability swirled into the shitter, all so this orange turd isnt exposed as the pedo everyone already knows him to be smfh
Last thing we learned from the released files was that he was present and complicit in the murder of a newborn because he raped an underage girl and now he is starting ww3.
Don’t even want to think about what the hard redacted or unreleased files say if he is willing to go this far to distract from it.
Yeah, unless a new drop came I missed. It was part of an updated release of files that had accidentally added files. Coffezilla has a video talking about some of it and has links to the mentioned files.
You are grossly misrepresenting the context for this information. What we "learned" from that section is that someone called the FBI tip line and reported that they had seen this happening and that they saw Trump was there. As far as I've heard, there has been zero additional information about that event, no corroborated articles or news stories from that same time period about missing people or children or anything like that. I don't even think that person who called in was contacted again or provided any additional details.
People are contorting it into some kind of "gotcha" but it's basically equal to the sidewalk ravings of a lunatic.
Like if I just walked up to you on the street and said, "Donald Trump is my father, and also a lizard man, I'm half lizard!" and you just believed me 100% and started telling other people how you "learned" that Trump was a lizard man lol.
There's so much legitimate stuff in those documents that actually is evidence, so I'm assuming the reddit-wide focus on this one story is some kind of deliberate effort to shift attention from "real" info onto sensational and easily falsifiable info as a distraction.
It's either that, or everyone on reddit reads at a 3rd grade level. So like 50/50.
Not sure what you're trying to say here. Congress isn't going to declare war on Greenland, our NATO ally, so if trump orders the military to invade then the military would be violating the constitution. If he brings this to a head, things go one of two ways. The military disobeys trump, or it obeys him. Either way, shit hits the fan.
I was saying, "hail Hydra!' yesterday. people can't ignore this anymore. Democracy is DONE at the fed level and they are trying to eradicate it on a state level to kill it completely. They'd have to invade all the states though.\
Throughout history military has followed orders. A few may rebel but the majority will not.
Trump does not care about Epstein files, Republicans will not convict him.
Agreed. Everyone has the misconception that they will turn thier backs cause of the constitution. Not going to happen. It's a piece of paper that means nothing, based on what we're all seeing.
People believe some General is going to disobey Trump when you shouldn’t be counting on that. They will follow orders because “good soldiers follow orders”.
If these Generals and Admirals continue to follow Trump’s orders blindly and get people killed unnecessarily, they should be hounded by the public for the rest of their lives and their names dragged through the mud.
Look how they are going after Sen Kelly. Can you imagine what they would do to a General that disobeyed an illegal order? They would be crucified literally
I have a hard time believing your claim to be a veteran if you could post “The military is a force of cowards “.
Maybe that claim speaks of the people you served with (and you) …but not my Army experience and those I served with.
Do better.
In nearly 30 years of service I’ve never been given an illegal order…so I’ve never had to refuse to obey one…THUS I have not been in that situation.
Your blank statement about the “military is a force of cowards” is categorically wrong…despite current events (Venezuela).
Be better…”Aim High”.
Even your own conscience motivates you to add "despite current events" in Venezuela.
We understand a lot of you didn't ask for this, but the military is currently serving at the pleasure of a pack of traitors and pedophiles. God help them to stay brave.
I have to agree with you.
I have my fair share of very serious gripes with the armed forces and my experience was honestly miserable, particularly the tail end.
But the overall character of the people I served with on the greater moral scale, notably the generals and chiefs...
I don't see them following an order to invade a NATO ally.
If for no other reason than the consequences would be catastrophic for the country and their people
Some of them probably would. There are plenty of war hawks and wannabee "Patton-lites" that think our military just exists to smash anyone that disagrees with the good ol USA.
But genuinely have to believe they are the minority.
We have National Guardsmen who'd be left in quandary, entire commands failing to respond, and if one or two commands fail or fracture the whole system will begin to fracture.
Without an airlift command or space command functioning properly those capabilities are severely degraded Special Operations Command, arguably home to some of perhaps he most philosophical and grounded leaders and generals, I widely see not going along with it.
The military entered and killed 100 people in Venezuela without a declaration of war, all for power and oil in support of your pedophile and rapist president.
So lets assume that what you say is true. They would have to know by doing that they now have a limited life span. And by that I mean Once Trump is out of office they are done for. Only exception to that is if they try and start a coupe Which tbh would complicate things since not just military would be involved then. IE I hear there is a coupe going on bet on people joining from both sides.
The officers where I am think this invasions great, anything where ordnance goes down range and kills brown people, they’re for it. They’re like “that’s what we train for, we’re here to project lethality.”
That said, we’re nowhere near it. I’m glad for it because my oath to the constitution supersedes obeying an illegitimate president’s unlawful orders.
Yes, he’s illegitimate:
You can’t be an insurrectionist and hold office. The 14th amendment §3 bars anyone who has aided in sedition or given aid and comfort to enemies, from holding office. He incited insurrection & pardoned domestic terrorists. Notably this is effective without any conviction; as a catch all to prevent MAGA Confederates from holding office. (Sorry got my centuries confused, they just have everything in common, especially the white supremacy and being seditious enemies of America.)
He said “Elon knows those computers so well, so we won PA in a landslide.” He told us he cheated.
Election Truth Alliance has the voting pattern aberration data. Elon made the swing states look just like Russias fake elections.
The fact is there’s enough evidence the Republicans are Russian assets, to lock the entire party up. Fucks sake did we all forget they visited the Kremlin on that 4th of July, and that more recently Hegseth ordered all cybersecurity efforts against Russia, halted?
Lower and mid level officers don't make global decisions or see the full picture.
This is actually one of the biggest reasons why Hegseth is MASSIVELY underqualified for his position. He has zero understanding of how to make wide decisions.
A garbage pail frocked 0-3 who's never commanded larger than a platoon, or any 0-3 for the matter, his ONLY concern is going to be "project lethality. His job is to push to boom boom button. That is all.
Field and Flag Grade officers have to make decisions based on a global set of factors, manage and coordinate multiple multi pronged departments and operations at once, and tangle directly with the political aspects of warfare.
So I'm not surprised if your officers were more concerned with putting warheads on foreheads. They have the luxury of being hired bruisers. That's their mission
Generals have to be above that and make decisions for the long term. That's their mission.
Exactly. I love learnt that they can do whatever they want and no one will stop them. No Constitution, No Military, No people, No nothing. It's like we're living in a scripted movie lol. Bizzaro world!!!
What are We The People going to do about our feckless and spineless Congress? I expect little of This Congress and the House Speaker. Midterms are Crucial. It can't be government Of the People, By the People, and For the people if we only spectate and stare at our phones and other screens. It's a democracy/republic, depending on how local it is. The least we can do as citizens is fricking vote when given a chance, even if we need better actual choices. Otherwise Stephen "Goebbels" Miller is right. Power and a willingness to use it are the rules and the People are just fodder, fools, and fuel for the rich.
They have a feckless House for 1 year until they lose possibly both chambers. Hold onto your asses, they are going to try some nutty shit until at least then.
How ironic it is that the people that claim to be patriots are the very same people that can’t uphold their oath. The bare minimum.
Sack tf up.
Put your petty feelings aside and do your goddamn duty to uphold the constitution. Are y’all really going to be the generation of the United States military that turned against the constitution and the American people? The failure generation. I never thought I’d ever see this day. These joes don’t have it, man.
If you’re a relative of a service member, reach out and make sure they know they are supported. Fuck this traitor president and his supporters.
This!!! I'm a vet, the daughter of vets, the grand-daughter, great grand-daughter of vets and so on all back to the Revolution. My son is currently serving. He wants out. He wanted to do his 20. He's on year 11. It's not worth it to retire and go against everything we raised him to believe in. I hate this for him!
But the US defence deal with Denmark means the US can build bases and put troops basically wherever it wants at almost any time, so if Trump is that bothered about adcersrial navies he can just create a US fleer base or two and put some ships in it, no?
This is a minerals deal, plain and simple. Either he's angling for extraction rights and this is a negotiation tactic, or he wants to seize the minerals and rare earths etc for his own personal pride and so he gets more "donations" from mining companies who now have somewhere new to profit from.
While we already got a few bases already across mainland Europe, on top of the many more we’re sharing with their own militaries, paying a lease too on them.
Fail to see how few more radar sites and a airstrip would hurt them, a side from maybe turning the nearby base town into something like Killeen.
Greenland? He should be making it clear these actions against Venezuela break every known international law and people are going to pay for following these illegal orders.
The DOJ is know backtracking from the accusations that Maduro was the leader of the Cartel de los Soles. And they admitted that the cartel never existed. These were the leading charges filed against him during Trump's first administration and the legal foundation for his kidnapping.
It's beginning to look like the entire case against Maduro was made up just to play a game of Colonialist Corporate monopoly.
Because it's not their job to prosecute people, that would have to come from the justice department, which is currently so far up Trump's arse that they're polishing his tonsils.
It has to be said though, and service members have to see it and believe it. Otherwise some service members will just go along with it, and others may not challenge for fear of retaliation etc in case they're wrong, as not obeying legal orders also has severe penalties.
Finally, someone with courage. I worry that some MAGA extremists could resort to violence. Even more concerning is the belief held by a small number of military officers that virtually any request from a president constitutes a lawful order. If a president were to direct the military to use lethal force against unarmed American citizens, the danger lies in the possibility that some commanders might comply rather than challenge the legality of such an order.
Venezuela is unfortunately in line with the illegal shit other Presidents have done; Greenland, part of our ally Denmark, is a completely different matter.
TBF, Panama wasn't even a democracy, and also something, something, Panama Canal? So it's really apples and oranges. Watch, they are gonna give this guy a plea deal if he says Venezuela tampered with the 2020 election, and I am not even joking.
All I can say is... Those that would turn their barrels on the ones giving the order and the ones willing to obey it will be known to history as the saviours of the world.
Veteran here, but I now look at active duty members differently. I live near a base. After my honorable discharge, I worked at the VA, and have been around Veterans for decades. However, I realize that a lot of AD were in before this administration, but I just can’t don’t feel safe around the AD, the guard. I had recently took a job last summer being on call for doing medical exams for deployment as on call. I have turned down every assignment knowing that I could be assisting troops sent to possibly harm Americans. This administration is making it shameful to be a part of the military.
Following orders... Murdering 80+/-Venezuelan and Cubans to kidnap Maduro and his wife ... because Trump issued the ILLEGAL order to do so.
We will know soon enough who participated and at some point, accountability will reign them in. This time though, we better see some metal insignia rolling off, too!!!
If you don't think the participants didn't know what was up, you better think again!! EVERYBODY KNOWS how Trump talks. So, the next day, he didn't walk anything back, he plainly said that the $$ from the Venezuelan oil sales would go to him ... to do what? Who the fuck knows? For sure though, persons participating in that mission who then heard Trump say this, had to feel their gut and that little voice whispering, "He don't got your back man!!"
Trump is the CnC. Soldiers are trained to blindly follow orders.
So this is going to go down any way the WH wants it to go.
Because they clearly dont care about the consequences. Or their NATO Partners.
While interesting, this is only mostly true. The Marines can be deployed by the president for ten days without congressional approval. Disobeying that is unlawfully disobeying orders and can get them in a lot of trouble.
Deploy, sure. What you do once deployed, different matter. Firing on a NATO ally for no justifiable reason, probably not legal, since it's against international treaties the US has signed up to.
They aren't in NATO and what they did to Venezuela doesn't have the same effect of what attacking a NATO country would do.
Attacking Greenland would permanently put the US on the back bench of geopolitics. No more NATO, No more trading in USD, No more US military bases in Europe, no more procurement of US military gear by Europe, no more trust, US companies kicked out of Europe, US patents rendered obsolete in Europe, dumping of US bonds, no more anything.
Venezuela was completely bad but attacking a NATO and European country will render the US a pariah until its eventually downfall.
The US cannot survive in its current state without Europe.
I'm calling all of my Congressmen today, and you all should to. Are they going to do anything about it? Probably not, but they need to be damn certain that we see them being complicit in this circus and if the day ever comes where someone is going to be held accountable they cant pull the "i didn't know the people didn't want this line"
Nothing matters anymore if there are no consequences. Great, Mr Lieu steps up and says the obvious. So what happens when, after SOOOO many other red lines have been crossed, the US puts air/ground assets in Greenland.
I’m not supporting invading Greenland and I know Denmark is a NATO ally, but what is the difference between being told to invade without congressional approval for that vs when the U.S. did it for Grenada or Panama?
TRUMP (and his government) is insane if they think this is okay. That's basically the same if they took Australia for their resources (maybe Koalas?) or Canada for access to the northern passages.
The fact that he's going around doing this, when it's against the will of the US (the people), is there not something Americans can do?
Living near multiple military bases most of my life has just shown me how susceptible our military is to something like maga and Trump taking over. It's scary as hell to see military base stickers on the same cars as right wing militia stickers (3%ers, proud boys, etc). Our military are coming from the same population as the rest of the country, and enough of the country has decided Trump is an infallible godsend that we really can't trust any safeguards anymore. The safeguards are gone at this point.
Hegseth threatening to court martial and demote someone like Mark Kelly, for the reasons he gave, and not being laughed out of the country should be a good example of how the military has been taken over.
The problem is that the full thought is, "...they are following illegal orders but there will be no consequences. Look, just do whatever Trump says because we can't stop you."
Its absolutely crazy to me that we have slipped so fucking far as a country.
I remember being in Mosul in 2005 thanking the heavens that I lived in a country that had laws that ensured we would never have to deal with a mad man being at the wheel...but here we are.
The seed and soil for fascism is in the hearts of every person. Echoes of bygone sorrows are the sole barrier that prevent the wary from nurturing it.

Thank you for sharing this. Not American, but I did ‘spot’ it. Project 2025 took everything yo heart… just not the way this pamphlet intended..
I figured it would happen eventually, I just figured it would continue to be a slow creep rather than a sudden slump.
and US military is happily following his illegal orders. yall were also silent when tech ceos replaced generals.
yall smell like the IDF
Its WILD af this has to be said out loud.
They know Trump doesn't give af.
Venezuela didn't get congressional approval.
We're at the point where Trump admin just does stuff and military leaders are like...OK!
Greenland should be concerned af.
Its confirmation its happening
Man whats in those Epstein files must be worse than ever imagined.
^ ---- Christ, I didnt even think of that, but it's a non-zero chance, and if Ted's saying it out loud, then there must be reliable rumors.
Not just rumors. Rubio briefed them in a classified hearing.
Apparently Rubio dismissed the possibility of an armed invasion in a meating with the french foreign minister.
Besides, there’s a meating next Wednesday between the US and Denmark
What meats will be produced?
Damn you r/beatmeattoit
it has nothing to do with Epstein. It's in Project 2025 along with a list of other nations. He thinks he's gonna go around the world looting these countries.
It can be both.
The Epstein files show things that I'm not even willing to speculate about publicly. All I can say is that way more people are involved than you can fathom and has the ability to destroy entire governments and political parties worldwide.. and then some.
Probably "Hostel" or "Saw" type shit
That and politicians and high net worth people paying very well known celebrities for sex and degrading acts.
It's a big club and you're not in it.
Epstein files are the distractions at this point.
Our government is illegitimate and 100% corrupt at this point.
I was thinking just that, "Are the Epstein files the distraction now?"
Don't get me wrong they still need to come out, BUT it won't make a difference.
At this point it's US citizens are only ones that can turn this around.
Our politicians have failed us on an extraordinary level.
They will not save us, rule of law doesn't apply to these people.
It's not just about Trump, it's everyone in them.
Without researching it fully, I think that they are using the 9/11 Authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF) to conduct operations against Venezuela for greater than 60 days. Not sure what you mean. Let me restate.
Didn't NATO say if this regime moved against Greenland, they would see it as an act of war and would respond in kind?
Correct... and the entire Nordic council + Iceland have openly said we're backing Denmark.
Right?! Like, you’d think with all the Nazis in their party, they’d know enough history about Norse cultures to Not Piss Off Real Life Vikings, Guys.
The world should be concerned as the US is now the main enemy of the world in its entirety. All respect and benefit of the doubt us now gone.
Agree. Our government is the clear and present danger by far.
It needs to be talked about more that Trump consulted with oil execs before and after the operation and never spoke to congress.
Who are basically saying to him "we don't care, we don't want to get into Venuzuela right now, it's not worth it to us" yet he went ahead anyway.
It needs to be talked about more that he consulted with Putin
And Mark Kelly is getting dragged for absolutely nothing. Add that to the pile
It is worth saying that Greenland is slightly different since they're a NATO member.
Nah, the crew of whatever American vessels are in the area should be concerned.
Europe will not tread lightly in the face of fascism once again. If America strikes first, you better believe the response will be devastating and far better planned than anything Trump's army could come up with.
Yeah cause bin laden, sadam, drone strikes, yeah.. congressional approval for all that right!!

Greenland has one of the largest supplies of "ice", so they are clearly narco terrorists. /s

its crazy to think we could see the dissolution of nato within our lifetime, international stability swirled into the shitter, all so this orange turd isnt exposed as the pedo everyone already knows him to be smfh
Last thing we learned from the released files was that he was present and complicit in the murder of a newborn because he raped an underage girl and now he is starting ww3.
Don’t even want to think about what the hard redacted or unreleased files say if he is willing to go this far to distract from it.
What?? Please explain
https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%208/EFTA00025010.pdf
Page 3 specifically
Makes me want to vomit. Did this come out in the most recent release?
Yeah, unless a new drop came I missed. It was part of an updated release of files that had accidentally added files. Coffezilla has a video talking about some of it and has links to the mentioned files.
https://youtu.be/R7i9KdVTFR4?si=aJmsLusvKH-nVcS3
Sigh...
The world should be mounting a joint operation to capture Trump like he did Maduro.
Okay, it’s illegal. The real question is what the fuck is congress going to do about it?
Uh no. The real question is "what is the military going to do about it". Since they're the ones with the weapons and all.
The military will simply ignore Congress
Not sure what you're trying to say here. Congress isn't going to declare war on Greenland, our NATO ally, so if trump orders the military to invade then the military would be violating the constitution. If he brings this to a head, things go one of two ways. The military disobeys trump, or it obeys him. Either way, shit hits the fan.
The military is going to obey Trump
[removed]
I agree completely.
Hard disagree.
The military is a force of cowards. They will do what they're told.
I have a hard time believing your claim to be a veteran if you could post “The military is a force of cowards “.
Maybe that claim speaks of the people you served with (and you) …but not my Army experience and those I served with. Do better.
If you're willing to follow illegal orders because you're afraid of going to jail, you're a coward.
If you claim to be a veteran and never had to refuse to do something you knew wasn't legal, I have a hard time believing you.
If for no other reason than the consequences would be catastrophic for the country and their people Some of them probably would.
It'll definitely hit the fan. No joke.
The military entered and killed 100 people in Venezuela without a declaration of war, all for power and oil in support of your pedophile and rapist president.
Look at the facts. The people in charge are already obeying illegal orders. The military you and I served in is different than what is now.
I bet most of these kids don't even realize it is their DUTY to disobey an unlawful order.
Possibly. Thanks for your service and also being more open minded.
Then it’s a straight up pro-president military coup.
And then the military should be immediately defunded
[deleted]
Congress has to approve that
I am not sure, our office corps is pretty good, assuming it hasn't been completely gutted been a few since I've been in those circles.
MAGAConfederates from holding office. (Sorry got my centuries confused, they just have everything in common, especially the white supremacy and being seditious enemies of America.)The fact is there’s enough evidence the Republicans are Russian assets, to lock the entire party up.
That's their mission Generals have to be above that and make decisions for the long term. That's their mission.
They can grow a spine and impeach Trump.
Cause that did so much the last TWO times...
It's all about the follow-through.
They need some of these fucking Republicans to sack up because shit's getting outta control.
The Senate never actually impeached him or else he would have been fired last time.
Impeachment is the process of bringing charges against a sitting President. It does not imply that a guilty verdict was given. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_in_the_United_States
Pass a law saying you cant do illegal things
[deleted]
What are your recommendations?
Double it and pass it to the next person - congress most likely /s
Power and a willingness to use it are the rules and the People are just fodder, fools, and fuel for the rich.
is congress acting on these illegal orders? is congress bombing and retargeting drowning survivors? no, they aren’t.
stop blaming others for the actions of US troops acting on the behalf of a child rapist.
I wonder if Pete is gonna strip him of his rank and benefits...
probably going to try, because Pete is a fucking dipshit and an idiot
Well yeah, hes saying bad things. Cant have that
France has stated that if Trump attacks they'll defend Denmark and Greenland
And France has a nuclear warning shot....!
Is Trump really trying to start a war with South America, Europe AND a civil war at home?
Where do I go? What do I do?
Minnesota is about to mobilize their defenses to fight ICE (National Guard and Police Force) per Gov Walz.
I thought 2025 was bad, there's still at least 3 years left.
Work out, CLP your shit, true it up the sights, and get more ammo?
Work on your bushcraft.
So you're calling for murder of federal agents right?
FBI - this dude right here.
Don't forget Iran and the Middle East!
"That's it! I'm moving t' Sparta!"
-Old guy, "Hercules"
Now we just need the congressional balls to get bigger.
They have a feckless House for 1 year until they lose possibly both chambers. Hold onto your asses, they are going to try some nutty shit until at least then.
Really they seem completely paralyzed to me.
Edit: I meant as a whole the congress is paralyzed f trumps bitch ass
2026 might be the last US election.
2022 might have been the last real US election
It was. Trump said they stole 2024. Bragged about stealing the swing states.
14th Amendment §3 bars seditious conspiracy fuck insurrectionist ass traitors from holding office anyway.
I've said this since around month 2 of this shit!
Lines are being drawn. 2026 is already more crazy than 2025.
And we're only a week in!
Don’t we already have a airfield and radar site there?
Yes, yes we do. However it is on the opposite side of the island from the population centers in the south.
I don't think it's that complicated even. I honestly just think he wants to go down in history for adding a large chunk of land to US territory.
I wouldn't be surprised if he actually believes the Greenland Mercator projection is the real size of the island.
A few small towns?
While we already got a few bases already across mainland Europe, on top of the many more we’re sharing with their own militaries, paying a lease too on them. Fail to see how few more radar sites and a airstrip would hurt them, a side from maybe turning the nearby base town into something like Killeen.
was there congressional authorization for Venezuela?
There was not and it was illegal
Remember your oaths.
That guy who smears himself orange every day will lie to send our formations to war, and gladly gloat over your body.
Don’t accept the lies. You have eyes to see don’t you?
No shit
This is so sad.
It's a war crime, period.
Why aren’t our politicians explicitly saying that military members will be prosecuted if they do this? Make it crystal fucking clear
Because it's not their job to prosecute people, that would have to come from the justice department, which is currently so far up Trump's arse that they're polishing his tonsils.
I'm reminded of the "and then" scene from dude where's my car.
https://preview.redd.it/9pfxhbwc82cg1.jpeg?width=625&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=12d1591dd598bd7fee331b1303f09994cd52bd1f
It has to be said though, and service members have to see it and believe it. Otherwise some service members will just go along with it, and others may not challenge for fear of retaliation etc in case they're wrong, as not obeying legal orders also has severe penalties.
Remember shipmates, i was following orders is not a defense. The UCMJ is crystal clear on this
Finally, someone with courage.
How many times has our government took military action without Congressional approval?
It's not just Trump.
He's absolutely right. Start taking names.
So hard to find the words to describe the unbelievable stupidity of the average American
All I can say is... Those that would turn their barrels on the ones giving the order and the ones willing to obey it will be known to history as the saviours of the world.
Otherwise, the opposite.
What does this actually mean? Congress is all bark and no bite.
Thank you!
Yep,this timeline just get worse and worse
But Greenland is part of the Reich!
What are they gonna do? Write them a letter saying it’s illegal? Boo hoo 😭
Army Veteran 🪖 Army Strong 💪🏿 Let's Go!
Sons and daughters are going to be carried home sadly
While interesting, this is only mostly true. The Marines can be deployed by the president for ten days without congressional approval. Disobeying that is unlawfully disobeying orders and can get them in a lot of trouble.
Deploy, sure. What you do once deployed, different matter. Firing on a NATO ally for no justifiable reason, probably not legal, since it's against international treaties the US has signed up to.
How bout Venezuela?
100% and I will add..
The US can't survive w/o other countries buying our debt.
"Anyone who steals is a thief"
Has trump publicly called for his execution for stating the truth?
Believe us Trump army, you do not want to start a war against NATO and the opposition back home here in the USA. We know the law better than you.
That’s great. NOW DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. ACTUALLY FOLLOW UP
I'm calling all of my Congressmen today, and you all should to. Are they going to do anything about it? Probably not, but they need to be damn certain that we see them being complicit in this circus and if the day ever comes where someone is going to be held accountable they cant pull the "i didn't know the people didn't want this line"
I mean can’t we just lease a base like we do with every other country. Why do we need to Annex it now all of a sudden.
But also even if congress authorizes it. Its also illegal and will trigger article 5.
Stop or I'll say stop again!
Precident has been set in WW2 that any military member cannot use the excuse of "just following orders" to commit crimes
Fuck yeah. Good job Rep Lieu!
What is Ted Lieu's authority in the chain of command?
But what is Tim Lieu going to do? Illegality has already occurred through and through.
Whether this statement makes any legal sense or not i want to know what about USA attacking other countries without Congressional approvals?

I just want to remind everyone that the lovely, peaceful, godly Christian woman Erika Kirk sponsored JD Vance a few weeks ago…
Vance who co-signs all of these aggressive administrative moves and/or remains suspiciously quiet about them.
Such a peaceful godly woman, that Erika Kirk…
Trump doesn’t need it JE does have to notify them within 48 hrs after and Tessie should know this if not well
Now say it about citizens too.
You'd think that after a decade of this bullshit that most people would have bothered to read The Art of the Deal by now.
TRUMP (and his government) is insane if they think this is okay. That's basically the same if they took Australia for their resources (maybe Koalas?) or Canada for access to the northern passages.
The fact that he's going around doing this, when it's against the will of the US (the people), is there not something Americans can do?
Impeach? Didn't work. Is there another way?
Venezuela is ok cuz those people are brown.
Boy them files must contain hell on earth for those names 🤦🏽 really Donny all this ?!? Just hack and leak the files atp 🤷🏽
