even if i did, I'm too spoiled to live by myself, my parents left me alone for one week and found out i have barely opened the water heater, ate only twice a day, and didnt buy a bus ticket to college
I have the knowledge and tools to build an 1800s type log cabin. The downfall is you have an outhouse and living closer to Daniel Boone or Davy Crockett than modern day.
Maybe if i work for 10 more years and dont buy anything that isnt a necessity and dont get sick and live through another global disaster that cuts down interest rates
IF I successfully graduate college, and IF I get a decent job with my degree, and IF the housing market stays the same or gets better, I should be able to afford a house by age 35, although I might be paying for it til I'm 85
On my own, absolutely not. However I’m lucky to have the help of family around me who will help me buy one in the future. That being said, if I was on my own no way in hell would I afford it.
A house? Sure. Could be in the middle of nowhere or not exactly livable sure. But the kind of house my parents bought in their 30s for 200k in socal? A 3bed 2.5 bath house in a nice suburb outside and in greater LA? Yeah, no.

Nope, tbh I don’t think I’ll even be able to afford groceries and other essentials
Yes its not too difficult when you don’t live in a hcol area
Certainly not in this lifetime.

No, and I gave up on that already.

Now? Obviously not. But in the future, hopefully.
Yes bc I expect my earning potential to increase postgrad. Also I’m an only child and my parents are homeowners
no
Nope
Sadly nooo 😭😭
yes, but not a streotypical one ( container house, tent etc)
Nope
Maybe but it’s probably gonna be a double wide trailer or something. I refuse to rent a house for my entire life lol
i mean if want i to pay 2500 a month for the next 30 years then yeah
Probably not. Me and my bf are still calculating how expensive rent and utilities will be in an apartment. I can’t imagine a house.

i hope so but realistically id have to be dink with my partner in a lcol or mcol area to even have a chance
I’m sure eventually, just will take extra hard work on my part. But if I want my own place best believe I’m gonna get my own place. 🤷
Fuh nah bro

Idk. We want to, but even if we could afford the down payment and monthly payment, I doubt it would be worth it with such high interest rates.
Just bc you can afford something doesn’t mean it’s worth your money.
No, Ill either die by rope or by bullet and ive come to terms with that
That’ll be my retirement gift to myself, that’s if I can actually retire before I die
