I've been to places and felt the same. But I rarely see anything that people see when they visit. And things are always changing. So this travel here thing is new to me. I don't even go to the beach like that. Only when people visit. I go to Hobie Beach and Govt. Cut. Mostly to fish. So it's really cool to me to hear about other's adventures in my city. This city continues to impress me. I like it when it impresses others
I was in Miami for the past week and loved it too =) I had preconceptions that were shattered by my interactions with the locals - I found them to be overwhelmingly friendly and social. Plus, the weather was unreal in comparison to the frozen wasteland of the Midwest this time of year.
well yeah, I’m not traveling somewhere for the first time. I’m careful, I keep my eyes and ears open, and I pay attention to where I go, when, and who I meet. Miami is a beautiful city and has a lot to offer. I took away only beautiful experiences☺️☮️
I love Florida. I am fortunate enough to have traveled and have been to some of the most beautiful places in the world.
In the USA San Diego is magnificent it has the mountains and the ocean . Koyoto in Japan has picturesque gardens and temples etc etc….. Beauty is defined by what an individual finds pleasing . I was born and raised in NYC and I never liked the cold or the quick pace of everything.
In Florida ( take Miami ) the ocean is always refreshing. The city is crowded but there are trains , buses cycle’s and cars that you can spot drive and go . The food, art, theatre, diversity of culture is not an issue but an attraction. Most people I know do not talk about politics .
I like that people are not just coming into Fl. without being vetted . I work in health care and community hospitals like Jackson Memorial Hospital never turn away sick people. However during the last administration more sick people came in with contagious viruses 🦠 AIDS ( never treated) Measles COVID Addiction and Psychotic illness’ with violence.
When I first entered the medical field I believed health care should be a right and not a privilege. I know now that health for one’s community has to take priority.
No one would want to come visit a city filled with people that are ill and lying on the streets. It is not okay for addicts to be doing drugs & dying of fentanyl. It is a very dangerously bad situation. I love Florida because our streets are clean the water is inviting and the sun is shinning .
Because I woke up today and chose violence… the “locals” posting your negativity about our Beautiful Crazy GTA city suggestion move away thats your citizen right to try new places that resonate with you!You don’t deserve to live here you hate it bye! If I was a betting person your either first or second generation from another country so go back to your contry!Ive lived Guatemala-In Tucson Az , -San Diego,Ca and have a job that travels all over for weeks at a time all over U.S none compare to Miami! All cities have there issues trust me… Also as a “ local” you don’t own miami ….the united states of america gives us the right to move states to states as we see fit that resonates for the individual and family! Most cities are dealing with rising costs of rents and homes …I suggest you look at moving to places like mid america… prices are low aint shit to do no traffic ….

As picturesque as Miami is, I’m all for more local photography and less of the constant political whining that seems to be the norm around here.
