On July 5, we are going to the United Kingdom. To do that, we have to get from my house to Pearson. I will ride YRT Route 1 or Viva Purple straight to Richmond Hill Centre, then transfer to GO (Line 40) and get off at Pearson Terminal 1. Is there some way to calculate how much I would pay (for an adult fare) tapping the Presto card? I remember it was $6.77 in 2023 and I don't know if there were any fare increases since then.
It's still $6.77 with adult fare Presto. The YRT/Viva fare is deducted from the GO fare, so you end up paying only the GO fare. You can check those here.
You can use your credit card now. No need to top up a Presto card.
Certain agencies charge you more for using a credit card, such as YRT but it doesn't matter in your case as YRT will be free when you transfer to GO.
GOs Presto and Debit/Credit card price is the same so no need to worry about Presto.
