Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone has info on whether the Eglinton Crosstown LRT has officially started its 30-day burn-in test. From what we know, major construction is done, vehicles are delivered, signal and system testing is mostly complete, and operator training has been ongoing. Metrolinx said in April that the burn-in test would begin once training and stress testing wrap up, but they haven’t publicly announced if that phase has started. Since they usually don’t update us unless there’s a press conference, has anyone seen signs that the 30-day demo is underway? That would be a big indicator for when we can realistically expect the line to open.
