Elitists would never circlejerk about Metallica, except to say that only their first 4 albums are good. Megadeth? You can only spend so much time talking about Rust in Peace or the Metallica Dave Mustaine feud (only posers still care. Also, at least spell their name correctly, poser. Black Sabbath is great (though, only posers stop listening after Ozzy left, and don't even realize there was a Ronnie James Dio era), but only posers post about them non-stop unless one of the original members dies.
True elitists are combing metal blogs, forums, social media, Encyclopaedia Metallum, and other websites or local venues/stores looking for the next fix. And, daddio, when you find something that works, it's like injecting that sweet, sweet brown sugar that percolates up and down your spine, oozes into your brain and drips out of your genitals like hot molasses... mmmmmhmmmm, that's that stuff. It's like freebasing and vaporizing China white that's as pure as an Alaskan snowfall, and when it hits it feels like taking a cold shower under spring glacier melt water that jolts you to life, baby.
It doesn't last forever, though the good shit can last a long time, so when you're coming down and dopesick, and breaking out in sweats, chills, and fevers because you don't have your next fix lined up, it feels like an itchiness underneath your skin that you can't scratch, can't get at, even though you've been digging wounds all over your body, and your blood-stained fingers are worn down to the bone tips.
