I’ve got a Leobog Hi75, with tangerine switches. I like it but I notice that whenever I angle the keyboard or put it on an elevated surface, I get disconnects and it’ll repeatedly enter the key I was pressing until I readjust the position. It’s pretty annoying and all I’ve seen is that this could possibly be due to the PCB flexing in the casing and the pressure causes it to do this.
I’m kind of sick of it, and my work offers me a $300 home office upgrade every year. What keyboard that’s in the 75% range and switches would you recommend? I like the heavy nature of it, really like the volume knob as a quick mute option, and also like heavier switches, I use gateron blacks on my work keyboard. I really am not particular on keycaps, I’ve swapped between Akko’s and some random GMK knock offs on Amazon. I will say the Bauer Lite series is tempting because it appeals to some nostalgia with the see-thru vibe.

So, very new to this space, but I recently purchased the IROK FE87 and am looking to purchase fun new keycaps for this. How do I know which caps will fit it/are compatible with it? Hoping to buy resin caps with different designs from some local artisans or off Etsy. I uninstalled the driver for it because it was giving me odd errors upon Windows bootup; is this keyboard a security risk, or am I just paranoid?

how are the Box Saker switches?
Hey umm long story short. I typically use Macbook for computer…but i have a basic (i guess) gamer wired corsair keyboard and was gifted a mac mini for christmas. I kinda wanna use the wired keyboard (for reasons mostly feel) at least until i figure out the desk set up but the main reason I do not really enjoy this is the fckng spacebar sound. Its worse than a cowbell and throws off my typing. I have tried numerous solutions over the past year when docking the macbook ultimately settled on the corsair being an RGB mood lamp as a solution however i feel like there has to be a solution.
One of the reasons i want to start using the mechanical keyboard again is because i used to side gigs customizing gamer gear and would like to get back into that and believe in using what i make to know its not going to wear out on a potential customer faster than it theoretically could….
So what’s the question?
Is it possible to silence or at least quiet the space bar, YouTube led me to $4k keyboard that probably is silent but for that price if it is not it better type telekinetically...
I’d try removing it from the keyboard and put a bit of painters tape or electrical tape on the inside (where it won’t rub anything). Should hopefully muffle it.

Anyone know anywhere in EU/UK that has the Akko Midnight keycap set in stock? Everywhere I've looked is sold out at the moment. Failing that is there any set out there similar to this in ASA profile?
https://akkogear.eu/products/midnight-keycap-set-178-key?_pos=10&_psq=Midnight&_ss=e&_v=1.0
TIA
Has anyone had good experiences with the Akko v3 silver pros for gaming?
i pressed a key combination that i cannot figure out a few months ago and its still not working,i have a royal kludge RK61 keyboard,FN is not working at all and i tried everything from the internet for example : "press fn+a",doesnt work since fn doesnt register at all
"fn+enter"doesnt work because it still doesnt register, neither does fn+ space.i tried software resetting the keyboard with the rk61 software, didnt do anything at all.unplugged it,removed it from device manager, nothing worked.BUT one time i started pressing everything on my keyboard and it randomly worked. So i know the fn key isnt(maybe)dead.
should i just buy a new keyboard or what
I am looking for a mechanical keyboard either 65% or 75%, Mac compatible, with wireless that will also work on an iPad when needed, though using wired on my Mac is fine. I looked at the Nuphy, but I have some concerns about their reliability and I think I would prefer something I can customize more easily down the road. I am looking for something small and sleek, and under $150 would be awesome. Thanks!

I got a hitbox style keyboard for a fight game controller huetab16, it has slow graywood switches and the key caps are tall. What switches, keycaps, would be ideal for getting the board as fast and low profile as I can for gaming?

So the thing is i've been interested on getting a Keyboard i basically need a robust keyboard that will help me with various scenarios Typing (i have a job that requieres writing 10 hours with a rate that includes constants burst of 80+WPM text being written) i play various games Counter strike for example, league of legends, osu ocasionally and some single player games that require more or less precision.
i'm currently using a 8 dollar genius membrane keyboard so in a way everything will be an upgrade.
Are there any pre built Wyse terminal keyboard to USB adapters or do I need to mod my own? See a few plug and play for IBMs.
IBM ones are generally soaras converter used with 5 din plugs . should work on wyse if it has a 5 pin connector . u can try to mid your own but heads up those thing do not works with moderns pcs without a micro controller in the converters to make it all work soaras converters have these and run QMK
Hi MK, it's been many, many years since I've been in the market for a new keyboard and need your help. Keyboards have come such a long way since I last looked so it's a little overwhelming. I just started a new job where I am in office and have to type all day, so I'm looking for a high-quality full-size (with 10 key) keyboard to make my life easier, and that won't make everyone else around me annoyed by click clacking. I have a Ducky One with linear switches at home that I love and have used for years, but it's quite loud and there is a lot of play in the keys, leading to some rattling. I also bought my SO a new budget keyboard for Christmas that sounds "creamy", and although it does sound nice, I experienced finger fatigue after 30 minutes of typing.
Does anyone have some recommendations for quiet keyboards that are good for speed typing? Or maybe some solid bases and switches that I can customize for my use?
Hey everyone! I wanted to seek some help on getting a new keyboard with a creamy sound that I could use for work. I usually love something louder and clicky but for the office I wanted to try a different speed. A few things I'm looking at for requirements if I 'm getting something stock:
Also if you think it's better to get a standard board and do something like custom switches please share your recommendations. I'm pretty new to keyboards and the like but I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Creamy/Thock are buzzwords on social media and marketing. they do not have any standard definitions and keyboard sound is a ton of factors https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15XmznA5T9d4PkfBG0TDS82ou6ihBh0oqr8Aux24SNz0/edit?gid=805940844#gid=805940844
u can look on here to see what suits your recs https://keeb-finder.com/
Thank you!
I bought a 65% ROG Falchion keyboard on ebay, arrived and it's missing the keyboard stabilizer. I cannot seem to find what type of buy if one is even available. Can anyone give me a suggestion before I just return this? Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm a complete keyboard newb, I just needed a small one so I picked this up cheap. Those clips are like 88-89mm apart. I searched Amazon for costar stabilizers and one showed up with a 107mm bar, I'm guessing that's too big.
for 6.25u which would be ur space bar if that is the one ur missing https://www.amazon.com/Plate-Mounted-Stabilizers-Balancing-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B07K8FFDYJ?th=1
I'm just weary of ordering something too large, Google tells me this is 5.5U and is also hard to find, I guess I'll just return it. Appreciate it though 👊

Did I mess up my stabilisers? Any keycap I put on a switch just doesn’t move at all, I thought I over lubed the wire but it still doesn’t move. Does it look like I assembled it incorrectly?
The notch in the plate by each stabilizer tells me that it uses plate mounted stabilizers. However, plate mounted stabilizers are inserted from the top of the plate, not in the PCB under the plate.
i could be wrong but this looks like PCB mount stabs with a plate made for plate mount stabs
Heyy, so I thought of building a keyboard cause I always find something to complain about when I look at pre builds, but I don't know where to start. My budget is 200€ I don't mind if it's a little more though.

I've come to the realization recently, that sticking with my very low-travel thin apple keyboard is just not doing it for me anymore. So I've gone down the massive rabbit-hole of looking for keyboards, and I think narrowed it down to three picks:
Womier rd75 (pro)
Wobkey Rainy 75 (pro)
s.s Bridge 75 (plus/max?)
I do not game, rather developing and programming. My main goal in the keyboard (without having ever touched one) is more depth to it, heavy (these listed are around 2 kg I believe), and a nice sound and feel.
The problem is, they're all so similar in weight and I think sound, so I am looking for any clarity from some owners.
I'm so indecisive, that if this post gains enough traction, I'll go with the overall pick. But I would also love to hear suggestions on other similar keyboards as well ( < 200$ USD).
Summary; I'm a programmer not a gamer (type a lot for hours), stuck between 3 (Rainy 75 pro, Bridge 75 plus/max, Womier rd75 pro), looking for suggestions as well to break my mechanical "keeb" cherry. Won't mod (at least right away).
I wouldn’t stress the details too hard, they’re all solid options. I’d personally break the tie off aesthetics, or stop by the closest Best Buy so you can type a bit on their keyboards to find which type of switch you prefer.
u can look on here ISO is rare in this hobby ISO ES even more so https://keeb-finder.com/keycaps?ms_layoutStandard=ISO+ES
Bueno si no es ISO ES en concreto, puedo cambiar algunas teclas que vengan de sobra por la ñ y cosas así, que al parecer siempre los teclados traen teclas bonitas demás
Seeking color advice for my first custom keeb. Just purchased my first keycap set (FBB Ichiraku Ramen) and have been looking at the neo60 core retro-white. Anyone experience with these colors? Not sure if they would match (warm whites from caps vs perhaps colder white from board).
Any recommendations for other boards? My goal is to kinda match the cap colors or get a metal look that could fit the caps.
Besides that, any switch recommendations? Looking for something linear and silent/thocky. Was looking at HMX latte, but the example sounded pretty loud. Still have quiet some research to do here. I read the caps and board also influence the sound. This is the full neo60 core board I was considering: neo60 core, spray-coated retro-white, copper weight, tri-mode hotswap PCB, FR4 plate, Gasket mount, full foam.
All feedback welcome!
Alternatively, Neo65 Core Plus in Spark White, not sure if I’m ready to lose the arrow keys
I bought some silent switchs for my keyboard (G-Lab rubidium) and i just wanted to do a quick switch but it happens to be way more difficult.
The default otemu red are super hard to remove and basically they all break when trying (and don't even go off, the thing to hold is broken), and my finger is dying with this metal tool. The new switches have a bigger pin than what's on the pcb, so i have to desolder the "pin holders?", that's okay, but for that i need to remove the switches before and it just impossible.
I don't know what to do please someone give advice, and buying something else isn't really an option right now '
yes outmeu are hard to remove and no u cant desolder the pin holders unless u plan on soldering the new switches in as your kb uses outmeu howswap sockets . and those sockets only work with outmeu switches . those pin holders as u called them are the outmeu hot swap sockets . if u remove those the keyboard is no longer swappable and u will have to solder in the new switches
I just got a Keychron Q6 Max with banana switches & full size keycaps. It’s my first mechanical keyboard. Been using it daily for a few weeks now.
I love this thing, it feels & sounds beautiful, but I’ve noticed that my typing speed went down enough to annoy me. I understand that is normal with any new board but I think I’ve gotten used to the board and the speed is still way worse than it is on my ‘24 Zephyrus G16 laptop.
I think this is related to the switch travel distance & keycap profile, does that sound right?
So I’m thinking of getting new switches and caps. Are there any low profile banana switches that’ll work in this board? Do low profile caps affect speed?
no u would need to buy a low profile switch kb
this would be personally my type speed is way slower on Low profile no on can answer this cept u
working on a custom keyboard, and i'm thinking i want tactile switches - my use case is that i do some gaming, but i'm a humanities student who needs to do lots of typing for my degree
any good ideas? preferably stuff i can get pre-lubed, but i have an open mind there - just wanna keep the budget within reason
i think i'd also like my switches to be pretty short, at least comparatively to the crappy reds i have on this newmen gm326 i'm using as a template to work on
I CANT HANDLE ANOTHER HOBBY. I want one good lifetime keyboard. I want a quieter sound but without sacrificing feeling from the padding, for the sound that will be heard I like clicky sounds and a little a bit of resistance from the keys. I like a twist knob but it’s not a necessity. Has to be full metal to last as long as possible, weight isn’t a problem, price is no concern for a good quality. Any advice for a custom keyboard, where to get the parts, what parts to get, is appreciated as well as any advice on upkeep of the keyboard. Thank you.
Keychron q/q max boards and replace the switches with clicky switches
Neo series from qwertykeys if you want to have the option for wired only pcbs. These would need a little more assembly (build guides are available) than just swapping the switches on the keychrons
https://www.alexotos.com/keyboard-vendor-list/
Other than taking off the keycaps to clean under for dust/hair every so often
(I would clean more often if you eat at your setup or have pets or share a keyboard)
there is little upkeep you need to do
And keep drinks/liquids away from your desk, barring acts of God a mechanical keyboard will last a long time (even with a plastic case)
Thank you so much! I’ll look into these
just got the EC naevies, there sounds to be a bit of scratchiness, is there a guide to lubing these?
What is the best way to fix chattering/double pressing? I have a rubrejane with hotswap pcb that is double pressing on "2" character. More than 50% of presses end up as double press or even more. I already tried cleaning the switch or replacing the switch.
if replacing the switch doesn't fix it then its a PCB issue and u cant fix . u would have to replace the pcb
Hi! I have purchased a qwerty mechanical keyboard to use with my macbook air (which has French azerty layout). My issue is that I can't find any keyboards that support the exact layout my macbook has, for the special symbols and number keys (the upper number row with its secondary symbols and the symbols and punctuation on the right side of the mac keyboard). I have managed to swap the alfabet itself and the option/command keys and the F keys to fit the mac layout but after that i'm stuck.
The image is exactly the layout I want.
Is there any way I can make the layout fully match fully? I cant find any buttons in VIA configuration that match my mac special symbols and punctuation keys and i also cant find any other keyboards that do have that layout. Are there truly no matching French Azerty keyboards or software? My worry is also that if I do find a way to get the keys to be the right symbols when typing, I can't seem to find any keycaps that match the layout I want. Even the official apple keyboard has a slightly different layout/symbols even though it's french azerty? I'm so confused. My worry is that I have to switch between the mechanical keyboard's system and my macbook's system constantly since I won't always use the extra keyboard, which is just so confusing as a big typer. Any help?

Good day, I got a Yanuzii C75 for Christmas and am attempting to program the Fn2 layer with macros. The programming is easy with the provided software.
My difficulty is with determining how to toggle the Fn2 layer. I've remapped capslock to be my Fn2 key, but I want it to function as a toggle (like the capslock key does for alphabet capitalization ordinarily). I don't see a Fn2 hold or Fn2 lock assignment option in the software.
Rumors swirl that Yanuzii keyboards have a built in Fn hold/lock capability through some arcane combination such as Fn+Esc or Fn+spacebar. Can anyone confirm in this instance?
Here is a link to the keyboard page: https://www.yunzii.com/products/yunzii-c75-cake-meow-wireless-mechanical-keyboard?variant=48457814868210
(post edited for concision)
Can anyone help please?
(p.s. - celebratory edit: I still want a Fn2 hold solution. But I'm so excited to have the macros running! It's delightful to be able to use my Fn2 + key to perform mouse click and a sequence for data entry! Massively accelerating my workflow!)
Anyone have experience with switches from KBDiy (e.g., Asura, Naraka, Sakura)? Tempted to try them out since they're heavily discounted right now but also wouldn't mind spending more on better switches if these aren't worth it
i really want a clear keyboard kit, probably a 65% but i could do a 75 as well. i was looking at the bauer lite from omnitype but they don’t have a windows key which is a dealbreaker for me. does anyone know of any other clear plastic kits like it?
Photon from cannonkeys is in the same price range, I owned both it and the Bauer lite and personally preferred the photon. Not completely clear and more frosted though
Just reassign RAlt in VIA?
I currently have a REDDRAGON K556 PRO and I can’t get the RGB effects that I want on it. I do autoCAD drafting in an office and I’m searching for a wireless FULL SIZE (keys + number pad) clicky mechanical keyboard with BRIGHT RGB effects that are very customizable. I’m not really having any luck using Amazon or ChatGPT to search for these because the options it keeps giving me are wired only versions. Any suggestions would be great!
just so u know wireless main function is for portability and nothing is portable about a 18 inch long kb so there is few options in this market . RGB is na after thought for most as its isnt actully used by most who value eyesight in the long run ill link u a list but no kb brags about how bright its RGB is so u will have to hunt down reviews and pray someone brings it up

What brand of Mechanical Keyboard should I go for? I'm thinking of upgrading from my Logitech G512 Carbon and I've seen so many horror stories about brands like Keychron and Nuphy for their customer service and quality control. I was also wondering if buying from Amazon would help at all, since they have a 30 day return window, or if QC issues often become apparent later on in the keyboard's usage.
(I'm on a Mac (so ideally via), would like something that could last somewhat long term i.e. hotswap).
whats your budget for a keyboard? what layout do you want?
Not a ton of keyboards (of good quality) on amazon in general, and they might break/have QC outside of the 30 day amazon return policy
https://www.alexotos.com/keyboard-vendor-list/ this is more of a where to buy from keyboard vendors (general keyboard parts/kits/switches/keycaps) , outside the big retailers like amazon/aliexpress

Hi, thank you so much for the quick reply! My budget would be around 100-150 or so USD and would probably want either a 65% or 75% keyboard!

Need help picking out a new keyboard. Gaming, writing, high-usage. Currently using a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate (2012 I think, blue LEDs)
Looking for Tactile switches, heard that the Keychron browns are closer to linear than tactile? Pretty sure my Razer has modified blues, I like the feel of them, though I could go either way on the extra loud click sound they have.
Would prefer 100%, but TKL would work as well, I just don't want to drop down smaller than that really. I'd happily build one, but from my poking around it seems like I'd have to spend a lot more than just getting a prebuilt if I wanted anything quality.
Any recommendations, or anyone that has used this keyboard know something with a similar feel? Budget is reasonable, around $100, but easily expandable for the right fit.
Thanks
not a ton of boards prebuilt with tactiles/clicky switches https://wiki.keyboard.gay/SWITCHES.html
browns (cherry browns, gateron browns, etc.) are a smaller bump tactile so you might not feel the bump while typing
building a board (with your choice of tactiles/clicky switches) would be the way to go to get exactly what you want
if you get a hotswap board, then changing/adding switches is easy like lego
keychron v6/v6 max. or the keychron v3/v3 max.
the max versions just add wireless/a different mounting system
for working and less than a hundred i would now pick a Ducky origin vintage with the tactile switches. On the other hand you can check the more expensive KBDfans clearance and ready to use boards. The Margot with PBT fans 1984 looks wonderful for example (but smaller).
Need suggestions for casual gaming/work keyboard that sounds "Creamy"

keyboards with numpads are not a common/popular layout nor is a smaller board with a matching (or even remotely close looks/angle wise) separate numpad
and not a ton of wood keyboards either
Keychron K10 QMK V2, for something just all black and simple fullsized board, i would spend the $ for the hotswap model
Need keycap recommendations for the neo 75 cu in grey gold
GMK 9009 or beige XMI/CRP keycaps my guy
I am looking at making a raised keyboard to make it fit in with another set of panels. As part of a display. So I was thinking about taking a keyboard out of its plastic case and putting it into a wooden frame. But that might not work or break the PCB etc.
What would you do? I thought about buying a keyboard without a case but can you buy one?
There are vendors who sell just a PCB. For example, many 60% PCBs follow the GH60/Poker standard. For example, the 1UP Keyboards pi60z

Hey,
I'm in charge for finding mech keyboards for the Office !
So ideally, we're looking for :
So far I believe I'm stuck with most known brands, Razer being on top of the list for now (yes, I know). Other brands are either way too pricey or not available with our criteria.
Am I missing an option ?
pretty sure azerty is covered in ISO layouts but i could be wrong
https://keeb-finder.com/keyboards?ms_layoutSize=100%25%2C98%25%2C96%25%2C95%25%2C93%25%2C90%25&ms_layoutStandard=ISO-FR
ISO is not very common in the kb market i listed the link above . worst case if u wanted to source any ISO kb u could always just get aftermarket ISO azerty keycaps
What's the best place to see upcoming groupbuys / keyboard releases? I used to use mechgroupbuys.com a long time ago but it looks like that site is dead now.
geekhack, discord , and the websites running them there really isnt a one place anymore is was a huge task to run for free and seems no one wants to start it up again doing hours of work for free every week
Thanks, any discords you would recommend?
usually the ones of vendors who run buys or designers u like
Im looking for a separate numpad recommendation. I own a Neo65 Cu in burgundy top + copper bottom and would like to get something that would match it aesthetically.
Is there any similar keyboards to the ducky one x on the market? Mainly wanting the analog keys that has custom actuations and also multi trigger potential?
pretty sure most HE kbs can do this the ducky x is one of the first to use inductive tech which will take years for other makers to also produce units in large enough amts to start selling them
So the only difference between them is just how they have done it but they both have the same outcome in features?
well sort of inductive provides the same performance edge but uses way less power so its better for wireless the tech is new but last i checked to give the same advantage of HE kbs in terms of features
Hmm gotcha thanks. Also soz for any dumb questions since kinda new to looking into nuisances of everything. Was thinking of getting a ducky one x and probs just customising it with unique keycaps since like to have unique looking things
its fine it the purpose of the thread
I’ve got a kid that just turned 16 and for his birthday I got him a custom keyboard build. Basically he and I are going to buy the parts and build it together. He’s got years of Lego experience and I’m an old school nerd that knows how to build things as long as there are half decent instructions or guidelines.
My thinking is to use a kbdfans DIY kit.
Any general tips, ways of approaching this, or other vendors I should be looking at?

Places to buy switches/keycaps/ etc, you can filter for your region
But seems good to go on the project
Is there any TMR keyboard with numpad? Or any better idea, like separate numpad module?
pretty sure monsgeek has a full size TMR keyboard . there is no number pads TMR kits atm not much demand when these are targeted for gamers who 90% of gamers use TKL to 60% kbs .
specially as the tech supports FPS games the most and need more mouse space for low sense play
Could someone help me with a Ducky One SF3?
I swapped to the mx2 blues and new keycaps and it now feels terrible
Had mx brown in before
Assuming user error but is there something beyond the switch and keycap you should replace when swapping?
I have other clicky’s that work fine
sounds like preference or the fact ur used mx2 switches . u didnt list any issues u just said it feels bad so id assume this is the result of what u used
MAIN POINT: I just want to know where should I buy quality keycaps that have unique designs. I am currently looking at kinetic Labs, cannon keys, kiiboom, and key artisan I am very new to keyboards and don't know where to buy or trust. Budget is 40-80USD.
EXTRA UNNECESSARY INFO: DESPITE spending 300 (including cheap keycaps) on my board the neo 80. I also am going to buy the moon v2 linear switches from Kinetic Labs (unless I find some different ones).

I got an Aula F75 yesterday and the spacebar started ticking on the left side when I touch it lightly even though it was fine yesterday. I tried looking for a fix but I saw someone saying this isn’t fixable for this specific board. I know nothing about how keyboards work so I’m not sure. Is there anything I can try to fix this or am I better off returning the board since I got it so recently?
What's a premium 65% I can buy for around $200-300 (other than neo cu and mode)? Very open to mechmarket, there doesn't seem to be many in-stock options.
Hi folks, I'm looking to add an 80% board to my small collection and having a hard time finding anything that's endgame-worthy, available, and fairly budget friendly.
The Geonworks F1-8X looks great, pretty much what I'm looking for in terms of design, but the variants I'm interested in are currently sold out.
KBDfans has some options, KBD8X MKIII for instance, and the TOFU TKL that's currently sold out.
What I'm looking for is recommendations from experts on an 80% board that's endgame-worthy, with a simple design, and hopefully doesn't break the bank. Bonus points if it ships to Europe without exorbitant customs fees.
Hi guys, is there anyway to change an RGB keyboard to make it a static color? I recently just bought my first ever mechanical keyboard (Raiku GK83) and all the lighting settings are rainbow. I would like to know if there were any way to change it so that it shows up one solid color instead of all the colors? Thanks.
RGB keyboards usually have software you can download to manage colour profiles - have you checked this?
So far I've searched on google i couldn't find one for Raiku GK83, I'm not sure if I'm looking at the wrong site or something.
that kb does not advertise any software nor does ti say on any product pages it has RGB software to change colors and such so ur likely stuck with it as it is . this is very common on super cheap kb it how they can price them so cheap is not spending tons of money on software
Okay, thanks!
Howdy! I basically just started this rabbit hole since I got some Christmas money late as I really want to build a nice keyboard. I was wondering if anyone had general recommendations for parts/kit manufacturers? I would be wanting a hot swappable keyboard. Open to basically any suggestions, don't have strong sense of what I want out of the look yet. Also, my budget for just the bare bones kit would be like 300 max, other aspects i could continue to save up for and buy along as I go.
neo series is good i like the neo60 core i have rn its pretty good
Hey everyone. Do you guys have any keyboard suggestions for 65/75 keyboards? I'm from Malaysia, but I guess in USD my budget would be maximum $200 for the barebones kit? I'm planning to use the gateron baby kangaroos as my switches.
Ideally the keyboard has a volume knob, so I'm looking at the keychron q3 max. But I heard that the keychrons isnt too premium so my alternative is the Qk65 mk3. Any more suggestions?
Are you going for foams or not? Iirc scooped bar's video review made it seem like the qk65 mk3 is foam reliant.
People on r/mk with more premium boards like the Tomo had good things to say about the tkd or 1/75 and some of those are in stock for around 220-240, in limited colors, it may be cheaper in Malaysia.
On the cheaper end, there's the neo75 coming out soon with a good amount of review videos out there. Lemokey P1 is in a similar price bracket, also made by keychron.
Cheaper still, there's the bridge75, which has a nice, soft typing feel. The ansi one is 1.2mm flex cut, the ISO one is 1.6mm.
Volume knob is kinda dead now, so having the Zoom65 is my best bet.
Hey all I have just recently built my tofu 60% with a original tofu case, and a redux 60 rgb ansi Pcb from kbdfans, it is using lubed granite switches from Novelkeys as well as Drop dcx BOW keycaps. I had just finished with the build and when using a key tester and as well as on typing tests I noticed that when pressing the h key it would input this "yhn6" I then noticed that all of these keys happen to be in a vertical row, is there something wrong with my pcb? is there something I dont know about that is causing this to happen? What is the best course of action to take?
Maybe your PCB is shorted.
The best action to take is to RMA or issue a warrantee to KBD.
Would a shorted pcb really only mess up that one specific input? I feel like it would do multiple, and rgb works perfectly fine as well
>Would a shorted pcb really only mess up that one specific input
No, but that input issue indicates signs of a shorted PCB.
I wouldn't bother tampering and checking the PCB because it is obviously having issue. RMA or issue a waranty is my ideal move.
Thanks!
hey partypeople.
are there any nice 40,60 or 65% keyboards (68% and so on also fine) that have a macro key row on the left or maybe where the F-row would be located?
bonus if the board supports iso too.
thanks for you help and input.
what's your budget looking like? i can think of a few 65xt's: neson nico series 01, rama zenith, tsukuyomi, daringrun polygon-7; for 40% you can look at any of the v4n4g0n pcb keyboards, c0v3r, 40rmie, and i'm sure there's more that i'm not remembering right now. oh, and cannonkeys currently has the bullet train at IC stage if you don't mind a low profile.
i never really thought about budget, but as you point it out. the rama is way to expensive in my opinion.
first i had the daring run dr-70f in mind but unfortunately they will not produce it anymore. i asked them directly.
thanks for the ideas.
