Just wanted to share my small EC / HHKB Collection.
My HHKB Journey has been a long one. I joined the Hobby on 2016, but it wasn't until 2018 or probably 2019 that I had my first experience with EC on a mini meet a few local hobbyist did and tried a FC660c. Topre felt great, but spending that amount of money on a keyboard back then seems like crazy to me.
Forward to 2021 and multiple keyboards later I decided to finally give the HHKB a try, at that point I already had a MX keyboard with HHKB layout so jumping to a real Topre HHKB wouldn't be a issue. I immediately fell in love with it and a few months later I ordered a Heavy Grail that the HHKB Classic ended being the Donor for it.
When Cipulot started selling his PCB's on Canonkeys I ordered an EC Pro-X PCB and daughterboard and brought back to life the HHKB Classic
Then This Year I jumped on Han's Gb for the H2H.
Next addition will probably be a Bauer Lite once Onmitype release a Bauer Lite + Dynacaps Bundle.

These all look amazing!! And thanks for the specs!
love the heavy grail! MoDo is a cool set.
did you see Geon teasing a EC f1-60 👀
No, do you have a link for me? That would be a instant buy for me.
sorry it was on the Geon discord - I’ll pm a link. Gonna be an insta buy for me I think.
How would you say the T1 and Carrot domes compare to stock HHKB domes? I’m trying to decide between 49g and 60g but I’m worried that 60 grams will be too fatiguing for long term typing. I’ve tried 55g RF and found them to be a tad too heavy for me.
Carrot 60g are really Heavy, I like them but it gets tiring after a while, T1's might be on paper heavier than my 60g Carrots but they feel better IMO and less heavy. Good thing is Both Carrots and T1 are offered in lighter weights.
Now comparing Carrots to T1's, IMO T1's feel way better. I haven't ordered T1s for the Heavy Grail just because I want to try Dynacap first.
Awesome, thanks for detailed explanation! I think I’ll try the lighter weights first and go from there. I also want to try Dynacap at some point. I’ve heard good things about it.
premium builds ... it would be nice licensing to be spread for the topre switches to become widely available ... thus users can have more options than regular MX.
These days you can build a complete EC keyboard without any Topre parts.
EC PCB from Cipulot + sliders, housings, stabs, domes from Deskeys/DynaCap/KLC and whoever else makes them + a compatible case and plate.
You can even buy a pre-build, like the DAO keyboard, which is EC and doesn't use any Topre parts.
true ... it's a bit of slow-motion adventure for users like me having to order all parts from abroad while it is hard if not a serious hobbyist to know beforehand which are the proper for assemblement. Certainly there is always an Agar EC, a Niz (an indie gem if you like cinema), Raed HE, etc. which make things a bit easier. Just saying, it would be nice for the switches options to include topre ones too. Silent tactiles are definitely close too :-)
The more i see mt3/MA/ursa profile keycaps the more i appreciate them especially on a hhkb
