Really been enjoying the s3 and the small changes they made to how the board fits together.
Hopefully 2026 we see some new boards from mode. It's been a minute since we have.

  • Either some new boards or new materials combinations. Since so much seems to be perpetually sold out on their site (I look every now and then), I'm wondering if Mode is having financial difficulties and if they're heading towards closure. I hope not, but had to put that question out there...

I am pretty sure the reason for the low stock is Mode is moving their warehouse and had a huge sale around September.

I remember the sale. I bought two sets of keycaps. I figured they would have already moved by now. No?

This is pure speculation so take it with a grain of salt. I think most Mode models will have a new version soon (you can see on their site most of their keyboards are labelled final offering). Moving the warehouse from the east coast to west coast is also no simple task, and I think they are preping the new warehouse for upcoming projects. Therefore restocking parts for current models is not their top priority right now.

Ngl I have wondered the same thing. They just aren't the way they were 2 years ago. I don't think we are that close to a closure tbh. They do give us more info than some venders/designers. I'd rather they do a board a year than pump out 5 boards that are all mid like most have been doing lately.

I think with matt being new lead they are revamping or redoing the line up/ in the process. I believe encore will be a in stock option in the future with more coolers and materials. Also working on caps. Just moved to a new warehouse so I think they’re just been a transition period. They will probably come back out strong.

Glad to hear. Looking forward to it.
