2008 Honda CRV just started having a clicking noise when turning the wheel. I got it checked out by a mechanic and they said they didn’t see anything wrong. I went the day after it snowed so we both agreed it may have been snow in the rims. Since then it’s been 2 days and the snow melted, it’s still making this noise. Based on a quick google search it may be CV joint. The only symptom is a clicking noise while turning. If the wheel is held at a constant turning angle it doesn’t click. It does not affect power/torque, no vibrations in the steering wheel, and no clicking when accelerating in a straight line. Any other ideas? Thanks!

It could be a number of things if the mechanics can’t find the fault wait for it to get more prominent and have them check again
