Sharing this because it’s one of the most unique homes I’ve seen in Belvedver at Grant Ranch in Littleton, CO
This home sits on a rare double lot with more than 12,000 sq ft of living space, direct access to Bowles Reservoir, and real lake and mountain views. The backyard has a waterfall, hot tub, and a new upper deck that feels like a private resort.
Inside, there is a grand library with 12 foot shelves and one of the home’s nine fireplaces, plus a bright open kitchen and living area with enlarged windows that frame the views. The main floor primary suite has its own deck and spa bath. Upstairs has four bedrooms, a craft room with views to Red Rocks, and a speakeasy style lounge with a private entrance.
There are even hidden rooms behind bookshelves and mirrors. The walk out basement adds a home theater, a dance and fitness studio, and flexible guest spaces. The home also has a four car garage with EV charging.

$4,350,000
That’s no where near as much as I expected
I feel like turquoise walls and ceiling was a drunken decision
Not exactly my taste, but a nice change from all the "grey wanting to be beige" elsewhere. :)
dunno bout you guys, but if i'm paying that much for an estate, nobody better be within spittin distance. if i wanted to live on top of somebody, i'd just buy a house in a middle class development.
It looks like you could touch your neighbor's house. Ugh.
I'd buy the top floor penthouse of a high rise condo building. That way I would literally be living on top of everybody.
4.3 million is peanuts, all things considered.
perhaps to you. for many folks, that's a feck ton of money, more than they'll see in their entire lifetime.
For sure, it’s a lot of money for me also. I’m just saying, when you look at housing prices in major international (and even domestic) cities like Chicago, LA, Toronto, NYC, London, etc….that space would easily be going for 8 figures+
I’m torn on this one.
I think I’ll take the unpopular opinion and say this is still a bit McMansiony. The front elevation is too chaotic and the front door is completely lost in the shuffle. The different window styles, gables, and roof gore certainly don’t help.
As for the interior, it’s is new but I don’t think there is anything particularly high end about it. The Home Depot pot lights, lack of crown moulding, and measly 3 inch baseboards could all be found in a home less than 10% the price of this one. You can also see how the ceilings are a mess in many of the rooms, my guess a result of trying to maximize interior space with the jagged floor plan.
This is a case of someone cheaping out on design and finishes so they can maximize square footage. Definitely not the worst McMansion that’s been posted to this sub, but the builder made a lot of the same mistakes.
People may like it, it isn't hideous, per se, but when it comes to architectural principles it is definitely a McMansion.
The birds-eye view is a complete disaster. The interior looks nice.
That library is just wrong.
The speakeasy is useful for when the FBI shows up for a raid.
Meh, I’m not in this sub to hear realtors’ spiel.
You had me at hidden rooms and passages.
It just screams Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys
Location is lovely, design and finish are mcmansion and cheap.
In Colorado, with no outdoor jacuzzi. You can't Airbnb that.
Beautiful and unique interior. The numerous peaks and rooflines are a little bothersome, imo. It’s gorgeous but I’d prefer a simpler exterior with more stone or brick.
Still there is nothing bespoke about this estate. Just a buncha drywalls and 2x4s
It certainly does lack the character and charm of a classic home with more unique woodwork and old hardwood planks…overwhelmingly large fireplace…things like that.
A monstrosity
If this is hell. Sign me up for a weekend please.
That big of a house and you’re less than 20 feet from your neighbor…
That home doesn't look cheap
That last pick slowed my heart rate. I could spend all of my future evenings watching that sunset
That library is gorgeous. I would spend all my time in there. The beige/gray everywhere else and color drenched teal is atrocious.
hidden rooms and a speakeasy?? this house wants to be cluedo so bad lol but honestly the library sounds dreamy ✨.
At least it's not Aloha Beach in unincorporated Adams County.
Why would you post a house that fits this sub as an advertisement?
This isn’t Thursday worthy.
Have fun swimming in reservoir, not lake, that has a continuous supply of country club chemicals leaching into it. The Google Maps satellite view has so much algae bloom it looks like a Caribbean island.
I knew I recognized that library!

Not a Mc.
You should see the look of disgust on my face. I hate color coordinated shelving. It says you care more about design than ease of access… and maybe don’t read.
Sorry. I have an MLS.
Sorry, why is it a mcmansion hell?
