I'm sure it's the home of someone who founded a pizza company, or a pizza CEO, but seriously, I have to google to find out what pizza has to do with it?
The guy owned a bunch Pizza Hut restaurants in Indiana - maybe I saved someone a search
People don't understand how to communicate anymore. You should still be using your 5th grade essay skills on Reddit, people.
I’m going to need a topic sentence and a conclusion, mister (or missy)
Yeah super weird title, like why wouldn’t you just say that lol
I'm sure it's very lovely, but that topiary does call to mind that thick-crust kind of pizza.
The foyer looks extra cheesy.
Stuff crust 🤤
Thanks
“Dick, who passed in October of 2013, made his fortune in the franchise world and at his peak owned forty-four Pizza Huts and three Kentucky Fried Chickens with 2,100 employees.”
You’re welcome, Reddit.
We need an inheritance tax
Hit the market in 2016 for $30M, sells 9 years later for less than 1/4 the price at $6.75M. That is one hell of a price drop.
There aren’t many people who can afford a $30M mansion who are interested in living in Ft Wayne
If I had 7 million dollars there's absolutely no way I'm choosing to live in Indiana
Being rich in the Midwest is a whole different world though. Money goes so far.
Because there’s nothing to do. Source: I live here, it’s boring
No such thing as a boring place, only boring people.
Lots of them too
They can’t stop me from having a good time!
Drugs and alcohol are nice
Are you saying you only know how to have fun if you’re drunk or high?
When there’s nothing to do, absolutely! You’re a keen observer. Congrats!
There’s always something to do. There are no boring places, only boring people!
And we’ve come full circle once again! Sorry you’re boring.
If you think the novelty of any location is long lasting, you’re in for a rude awakening if you ever make the move.
You can live like a king for $7MM in Indiana. But I didn't know Ft Wayne had a such a place. 😂
Or any other amount of money.
What’s wrong with Indiana? It’s not Alaska.
Alaska is amazing though. I'd only live in Anchorage as small towns are not for me, but the scenery and weather are great. It's like a smaller, colder Seattle.
All jokes aside I Really want to visit Alaska. I don’t think I could live there, but really want to see that part of the world.
Same. Let's go together
Sounds fun, internet stranger.

Do you like corn? Do you like meth? If you answered yes to either, you'll love Indiana.
I grew up there. What’s wrong is lousy weather, a featureless landscape (in the north), and decaying, crime-ridden cities.
Featureless landscape is pretty untrue. There are hundreds of glacial lakes and moraines, eskers, wetlands, etc that are very beautiful in northern Indiana if you get off the beaten path.
I feel like everyone shits on northern Indiana, but eat central Indiana is where the ugly is. Muncie, Portland, Gas City, gross. But that's just like my opinion man.
It's ugly, the worst kind of evangelical Christians, makes Ohio seem like paradise
I know right? I hear Gary, IN is lovely this time of year.
lol
I can’t believe the kitchen doesn’t seem to have a pizza oven.
Oh the Pizza Hut house love it
Idk i like this one. Modernity hasn't leeched every ounce of charm from it yet
Isn't $6.75 million a remarkably cheap price for this? I know nothing of Fort Wayne, is that the problem?
I mean no body wants to live there
And yet, they had to photoshop the sky.
Awesome! But Indiana?😖
I said the same thing. Why Indiana and Fort Wayne? Never heard of it, what’s around there? Shopping?
All those doors with no screens. 🦟🦟🦟
The drivers ed instructor for my school would always take students by this house when we were getting hours in. Kinda out of place for the area but crazy
Down from $30M a few years ago? On a ton of land (yes, I understand it's Ft. Wayne). Can anyone add context, the house/castle/estate looks nice.
Vanity mansions like this are extremely difficult to sell on the market. If you have the money to buy a $30 million mansion, you're likely going to 1) build bespoke to your own tastes and 2) not build in Fort Wayne. So the market for this particular house just isn't there.
That’s called dillusional
Got all that from owning pizza huts? Maybe he should have paid his workers some more and downsized the house a bit lmao

This place is really impressive https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNUs_azRSNw
This is not a mc mansion
Happy Thursday.
Oh shit I didn't realised
Why do middle class Americans prefer ugly imitations?
The owner sold fast food. I’m not surprised
What a vanity project!
That's a VERY pretty house; I would live in that sunroom forever.
The front really looks like the house from the (netflix) punisher of the old couple who have the pilgrims daughters
Thursday got me once again
I don’t think most of you know what a McMansion is
