I believe my laptop’s SSD is failing and will need to replace it soon.

Any recs or people to talk to?

Thanks!

  • What laptop model ?

What else you need ? Just SSD swap or os install too and what about data from your old ssd ?

Honestly depending on laptop model it ain’t hard and you can do it in less than an hour your self… I can guide if needed

I have an Asus ROG Flow X-16 and I just need a SSD swap.

I’m currently backing up my files to my Microsoft account so there will be no data loss.

I’m not very savvy with the mechanical workings inside so I’d rather have someone who knows what they’re doing.

Just buy a ssd replacement drive. Follow YouTube instructions for hd replacement for your specific model. When installed, format/partition new drive thru bios. If you want to direct transfer all data/settings, get a sata -> USB converter. If not, fresh install windows and download your stuff from the cloud

  • Hey, I work on computers on the side for fun. If you want, I can help swap it out. I can also do the data transfer if needed. I have the adapter to make the current SSD an external drive temporarily if needed.

    Dming you now!

  • Does Micro Center in Dallas do that stuff?

  • Pretty easy DIY
