I wish they showed more of the follow-ups these warding swings are meant to defend against.
maybe if they had scimitars or longswords with some weight and body, or steel swords instead of aluminum. they seem more concerned about showing contact, and that means they can't do anything fancy or the aluminum might snap, fly out of the handle, and poke an eye out.
