I just joined a random public event late and I spawned next to someone in a glowing mask. I thought it was cool so I emoted with them and dropped them a strength bobblehead and a Stimpike to be nice. They asked me to follow them to their pop up camp and did the gift emote. I walked over to the gift bag… Enclave Plasma Flamer. I’ve been playing since release, and I never got my hands on one. To you, unknown stranger… you made my entire week, and fulfilled one of my dreams <3

Good to know there are others out there. If I spot a low level anywhere, i always give them any surplus on me, try to always put stuff in donation bins. Sure, higher level players might take it but its worth it for the new players. Had a wonderful time giving new players stuff today. Onwards and upwards o7
THIS!^ I only just started playing the game a few days ago (played 4 and some of 3 in the past) but I was blessed with a BUNCH of stuff (mainly event cosmetics) in the donation bin as I left the vault for the first time not even knowing what it was until a friend told me I got extremely lucky! Thank you to all you who do this!❤️❤️
I dump a ton of stuff at the Donation bin at the Vault exit all the time, at least 2x a week (one morning I remember weekday and another on the weekend

I use the red box. I started playing like two years ago and when I was a wee fetus I used to use Nuka World as my go to food and cap run place. Now whenever I’m there I put so much stuff in that box.
Same, I carry about 1-2 power armour frames with full nuka t51 on each that if I see a low level, I gift one to, along with some fusion cores and any legendaries that I picked up in the last hour, because that was done to me (along with much muuuuuch more) when I was in their boots , and I want to carry it on. Any mutation serums I’ve gotten from raid runs goes to them too because some are a massive advantage early game.

Im right there with ya. I saved someone from a alpha radhog yesterday and they were like less than lvl 100 so I dropped all my plans from this recent mutated and scorchie events. They heart emoted, I saluted and then vanished (server hopped lol).
Yeah same here I’m at that point being over 1k an ran through enough raids that I can Sherpa/gift new/struggling players through raids an help them with some build guidance if needed but you will still find those people who will scam/slander you once in a while cause that are shite individuals.
Update: I added the player who dropped me the flamer mod and told them how much it meant to me. They joined me during another public event and then dropped me every enclave mod they had available. Still in absolute awe of the kindness of strangers in this community 🤍

Coming from COD and Halo where people tell you to off yourself, getting called the n- word by kids who haven't even hit puberty yet, to a place where people just give you random amazing kit and are extremely helpful and generous has just been the greatest experience I've ever had while gaming. I think I was like lvl 15 or 20 and dude just dropped outta the sky in my camp and plopped a loot bag with marsupial and speed demon serums and a bunch of other stuff on my front steps. Now I go out of my way to return the favor and it's one of my favorite things.
Halo is why I still don’t use voice to this day. I have never been called so many slurs in my life, also I’m a woman. So there’s that, too. Oof.

I drop these types of things all the time in hopes the right person finds it. I hoarded so much stuff I wasn't using for years now. So anytime I can help someone else, I do. Back when the elders mark started getting popular, I had 12 in my stash. Started just giving them away to people looking in the forums.

You know hard it is to give players level 10-40 a The Fixer with prime receiver and bullets? It hurts me every time they just walk away
They do not know wtf they are missing!!! One of the best guns in the game and my controller knows it & refuses to let me take it off.
I really appreciated the fixer when it was gifted to me! They may not have understood there’s so much to learn

My best "gifts" I've received have been from my dog. First he brings me a Quad Fat Man. Then months later he brings me a fuckin Quad Salvaged Assaultron Head, truly a masterclass in one shot kill weapons. Such a good boy!

There are good people on FO76. But I must share this with everyone. I was playing Beast Of Burdon about a month ago when I put a charge on the highest door in the area and I turn around and see there is not a charge on the very back door, so I immediately jump down and set one on the door when I noticed there was a lvl 300's hitting me with the butt of his gun and I hear someone on the mic saying "You are a selfish Ba***d!" and things I won't put on here. Long story short. He proceeded to call me every name in the book and begging me to get on the mic. So, I get on the mike and say, "What is your problem?" He proceeds to call me inbred and others saying I was selfish for jumping in front of him and putting that charge on that door. Well I didn't even see him there. I was just trying to finish the mission. He was on my team none the less, so I left the team and reported him for misconduct. What a moron! There are those in this game too.... 🙄
Wish someone would do that for me been trying to get the mods now for days and because of how low the drop rates are for them can never get them

I've received many nice gifts from strangers, such as Advanced Drag, Enclave Plasma Flamer gun, and 150x Large Handmade Holiday Gifts.
I usually do that too! If I see a newbie at around Lvl. 47 - Lvl.100, I give them a cool "The Fixer", some gear, serums and Ammo.
Im not as advanced as many here, but I do always unload decent stuff into the red boxes. I have never found anything great, nor been gifted anything. Just like to share and hopefully help someone out. Im like level 250 or 350. I forget. Still a newb at black ops and ran my first expedition last night. Never did a raid run yet, and still finding places to unlock on my map. Lol.
We should add popcorn to those bags as well. I dont have it, yet but when I get it, I will always add popcorn. As well as the gift. ❤️🧸😂

Only problem with the flamers is they break too quickly.
Joined a team last night and crafted them all modded pepper shakers after the mutated event. Listening to their joy over receiving them is what makes me continue to do it.

I can't figure out how to make one. I bought/and read all the plans and it doesn't give me the option to craft. I even bought the regular plasma gun from white springs and won't let me craft it either. It's the strangest thing. Just not meant to be ha.
There are some mods you can't learn, gotta win them from specific events, daily ops, or expeditions.

Covet that item those are extremely sought after and can get you one of if not the best guns currently, not sure if the abraxo is stronger but I know that thing is insane
as far as im aware, the enclave is still the strongest because you can change the legendary stats on it, whilst the cleaner is static.

People need to give away more automatic tesla rifle with quad/rapid/swift/electrician mods so people can handle the mobbing on second stage of raid. You just need grenadier level 2 perk with it and you can hold against level 3 miners indefinitely
It’s not that great prob extra for high level players. I had extra aligned barrels I have players with Eprs because I don’t trade.

That's sooo nice! I too drop them and the new flamers to people. After a while, you know how to get them when u need them. And you're pretty much setup with your everyday weapons anyways so keeping extras is pointless. Enjoy it! And wait till you get the ABX03 with Pyro. 👌

I remember when I first started about 2 years ago, I was building my first Camp and a lvl 400 came along and gifted me a fusion generator plan. To this day I still think about that, I don't think they knew how much that meant to me.
I love how welcoming the community was, and I now keep my camp between Wayward and Flatwoods so I can hand out cool outfits and stims to newcomers. It's not a fusion generator, but I try to give that same welcoming feel :)
