Codes for the in-game Mr. Pringles outfit are not permitted for trade here, as they are considered a real‑money Atom Shop item. While we understand that many players received these codes for free, we will not allow trading that opens the door to bulk codes being exchanged for in‑game profit. Just for clarification, the outfit is not tradeable in-game.
That said, the codes may be given away for free through giveaways, provided nothing is requested or expected in return. If a recipient chooses to thank the giver with an in‑game item afterward, they're free to do so. Friendly reminder that Trade Karma is not allowed to be exchanged for receiving or giving items for free.
NOTE: This change is to allow giveaways. Please do not make posts asking for free codes or offering gifts for codes.

It's an atom shop outfit. Free codes are available for some people. Alternatively, codes are acquired by buying promotional pringles cans. I believe this is exclusive to the UK.

They do not require a purchase and can be gotten with anyone with a VPN that can connect to a UK server. For free. I am in the US and I got mine this afternoon.

Correct, purchasing the pringles cans also gets a code. Items with an atom shop logo are illicit here.
We understand many got codes for free. But, a code for an atom shop item that can be bought with cash, will not be allowed.

They can't, but mods are trying to get ahead of people holding codes and selling the codes.

Head over to their promotions website, it explains how to get the code, all you need is your UPC from one of those tins. It will say Xbox, but the code is Bethesda.
Free in EU(Hungary,Germany,Romania,Slovakia,Poland etc)but ín UK you need to scan QR code
Pringles are chips. They come in a tube so you don't get many broken chips. By looking at the comments. In the UK, they got codes on the cans to get something from the atom shop.
The Pringles codes have absolutely nothing to do with the atomic shop.
Except that they use the ATX system to grant ownership which is why they use the atomic symbol in game
So it does have something to do with it. You just don't use the storefront to buy them but everything about the backend code of the ATX is used for granting permission to the item

I got my code on wifi but I did have trouble using firefox as my default browser. Works fine on chrome though.

To go with that, you can get the outfit completely for free, no money needed, no matter where you live. Just need a VPN, and you can get your own code.
Seems to not be working currently, I've been trying for the past 2 hours and every time I try to log in I get "something went wrong" and asked to try again later.
I had that happen as well. Not sure what changed but it started working later.
Try using turbo VPN. I tried a few others and that one worked first try.
I actually pay for Proton Plus VPN and it’s still giving me the something went wrong message, have spoofed different countries in the eu, tried clearing cache, 4 different browsers and switching from 5G to 4G… 😭
Try opening the link through an app like Reddit. So it doesn’t open in a browser but within the app you are using.

Yes, but anyone can get it by interacting with the statue. You can buy the statue yourself, but anyone else can get the outfit.

The Pringles collab out fit you can’t trade/drop/sell because crafting the outfit is the only way you can get it. Whereas the Rusted Knight Outfit you can acquire without buying the statue in the Atomic Shop. You just have to interact with the statue if you find one.

The coat of arms specifically was intended to be gifted between players. It can be given in world simply by grabbing it from their camp instead of the trade screen.
That is not the case for other items. Such as the pringles outfit which requires outside of game sourcing to aquire.
It was simply a decision by bethesda to be able to trade the coat of arms in the game.
The coat of arms statue is a one-time interaction item. Once its been interacted with, the owner has to either store/place or scrap/build it again, for it to work again to bequeath another suit. That means they could effectively sell the Atomic apparel item by placing a new statue for buyer to interact with, to get the ‘premium’ item. Sure, it could also be given away, but so can codes from Pringles cans/the site. Or, as some have found, they can be sold, since some are willing to pay RWM for them.
Wait, off topic, but what is that? Is that a relatively new thing? Just need to find a camp with it and interacting learns/gives the outfit?

The mod already gave an answer, but want to emphasize that giving away for karma already is a no go, regardless of the item in question. So that is not specific to this case.
Makes sense if you think about it, trade karma would mean nothing if you could get hundreds of trade karma at once by simply doing a giveaway.
The other part of your question, which is more related to this case, is can it be given away at all here (for no trade karma), to which I understand the answer is also no.

I get why the mods wouldn't want karma trading for these codes, but a thread offering to give them away would be nice, and it's not unreasonable to offer some token trade for their time to get the code.

It can easily obtained. There's a proper step by step way I can teach when I have the time later on today. The steps people are posting is for the UK steps. There's a critical step that needs to be done when ur outside the UK (I figured this out after countless times trying). All u need is an email for the verification code, a random phone number, address, postal code and city. Now the VPN and where in the UK is also critical because it works sometimes but u have to keep trying and it eventually works.
I have done 12 codes for my close friends (within an hour). So yes I know exactly what I am doing.
