One of the psyonix map artists is a Ms fan. Psyonix Adam. Who incidentally also accidentally invented rocket league by suggesting his team put soccer goals in a car battle game they were developing.
This thread makes me feel old. Not only do I remember watching the "Hi Fivin' White Guys" on Almost Live back on terrestrial TV, I remember the birth of the Fulgar meme here on r/Mariners and the subsequent memes that have followed, like Taco Bell and pineapples.
Which is exactly where, when breaking ground for Safeco, I measured out from home plate where Griffey was gonna stand in center field and took my dirt from there!

Makes perfect sense that the pain and suffering that is rocket league was conceived by an M’s fan.
