Just started watching today. This is similarly named as Mayor of Kingstown, and also has a similar premise. A person who grew up in an area, and performs a prominent role in the community. With both coming out in the same year, I guess that’s just a coincidence. Anyway, enjoying it so far.

  • I’ve rewatched this mini series countless times. It’s one of the best I’ve EVER seen. Although, it should be called Red Herring the series 😂 all jokes aside, it’s an incredible series and the entire cast SLAYS. I think it has a lot of rewatch value, as when you know what happens, it’s fun to go back and catch things or read things in a different context.

That was my only complaint about the series-all the red herrings. It was about two too many, but otherwise-very well done.

Yeah, like why would her ex-husband go out of his way to ask about, then lie about the girl in his class who was murdered. I guess he just needed someone to talk about her too. But he could have found someone else to do that with.

  • Daughter is insufferable and her entire arc is pointless. Mystery is good. That's about it.

  • Nothing like Mayor of Kingstown

I didn't say that they were alike. I said that both had a similar structure.

  • I LOVE Kate Winslett. She and Leo were wasted on Titanic.
