Hi! I’ve recently fallen into the world of bookbags after an introduction via my friend’s Evergoods 24L CPL.

I’m looking for a bag that will fit both my 16” Thinkpad (super thick..) and my 12.9” iPad. I also have a singular portable monitor that I'm going to start daily carrying. When I travel, I also carry my camera in a tech pouch and my nintendo switch as well. So looking for a decent amount of size with organization. But mainly for daily use it will be those two bigger items and my rhinoshield 23 fl oz bottle!

I’ve been looking at the Able Carry EDC Max, Aer City Pro Pack 2, and the Evergoods 20L/26L CTB.

I’m pretty short so trying to not veer too large in size but am just considering all options anyways.

Please suggest away or let me know which bag fit my needs! I would love to dive deeper into the world of bags.

Edit: Forgot about my water bottle! And my portable monitor.

  • If that's all you're packing on the daily, you might be able to make it work with the Alpaka Aero Pack 16L. It won't offer much extra space, maybe a windbreaker on those crazy days, but all in all, it's a pretty sold EDC. My favorite features of it are the quick access pocket, hidden stash pocket, and the 2 latch points on the straps to hang my airpods and sunglasses off of.

Thanks for the suggestion! The bag looks nice but I'm not sure if it will fit my extra tech stuff for those more traveling days. Also I forgot about my water bottle though and realized Alpaka doesn't have any water bottle holders. I checked out the 24L and it was almost perfect enough to forego that water bottle holder, but the hood looks like a nuisance to deal with on a daily basis.

I presume you own one? Can you please tell me how packable it is? Will it lay flat in a larger backpack? I want a bag that fits mba 13, ipad pro 11 and maybe some keys, papers and whatnot, so that I can use it both at home and in work trips. It should all fit into a sling but I really like backpacks, especially small and light.
From the looks of it, Aer go pack has a very thin backpanel, Alpaka Aero pack looks a bit better in this sense. I will be happy with any feedback you are willing to give =)
