I have a Janji Multiplass sling that I absolutely adore. However, the webbing strap is extremely uncomfortable on my neck. The way the bag is designed doesn’t allow the strap to be changed without cutting it. I do like that I can wear it like a fanny pack, but it’s NOT my preferred method of wearing it.
I believe it’s about 2L. I would like a bag in the 2+ liter range. It’s basically my EDC bag that I use to carry my medication.
Ideally I want a bag for more padding or at least a strap that is easier to change out to a better one. I need something with softer mesh.
Able Carry Core Sling 2.5L just came out with a pretty robust padded strap. You can't move it tho so you have to pick how you want to wear it front or backside. But you can also replace the strap too.

Alpaka has several slings with replaceable straps.
The Janji is designed to be comfortable around the waist and not bounce while running. You’re not going to find a bag that can do that while also being comfortable as a sling. Just get a regular sling if you want a sling.
Thule Subterra 2 sling — it has almost backpack-style padded straps
Cool pack but too big for EDC!

This slings spreadsheet has a column for whether the strap can be detached.
I own a lot of slings, probably the most comfy strap that isn't oversized is the Fara sling's strap. It's thin but still padded.
Peak Design Outdoor slings meet your requirement. I’m quite happy with my 2l.
