Yup! I've worked with Muslims, and they're just regular people living their lives. Their religion is essentially the same as Christianity, and the ones I've known are more devoted to their religion's teachings than most Christians I've met. Never had any trouble from non-extremists.

Same general beliefs and values, similar variations, same bigotries from the hateful ones, and similar atrocities from their extremists. The general population of Christians just has better PR and a good veneer of civility in the west. The one good thing about Trump's fuckery is that Christians are being more open about who they truly are.

Maybe the issue is the portrayal of them in the news, I don't know, but I've seen very few outraged Christians threaten to decapitate people for saying mildly offensive things at best. I just haven't seen it and it's probably got to me in some way.
