are you sure you don't have that reversed? I can only do crossview, and all the other posts in this sub work for me, but this one is inverted... Oddly enough I see that you're the primary poster here, and all your other posts are correct. Unless this is just supposed to be a dip in the screen.
I'm having an impossible time getting anything other than the convex shape. I always sucked at these anyway. I have no trouble getting to the point of seeing 3d, but I never see the "pictures" people describe. Just vague shapes in the correct places. My vision is fine, but these make me feel dumb. 😄
This was my first introduction to the cross view and after doing the P/C test image, I was able to come back and do this one. I finally saw the bowl and it’s pretty interesting to see the contours inverted from doing the normal magic eye method.
I see an upside-down bowl
You’re doing divergent view used for regular r/magiceye
Did know it was different, thank you. Thats the sub for me.
Edit:
First post over there is this same one. Disappointed
Over there it should be “bump”
Sphere*
If you’re seeing a dome you’re doing parallel view (aka divergent or wall view) rather than crossview

Yeah if you do crossview on this it looks like a half dome going into the screen.
Ah, gotcha. The other posts were more intricate so I thought I was missing something.
I haven’t been able to train my eyes to do these :(

Wow holy shit that was difficult.

I don't remember joining this sub and I'm so high right now I'm very confused lol
I see a nice round pimple
Omg this is hard I can't get it
I see a crater, like someone dropped a bowling ball in the sand.
I see the indented version (sphere).
How do you do the other version where it comes out of the image?
Edit: nvm I found the tips page
It’s a schooner
This is the wrong sub for this; it appears fine with parallel view, though.
If you cross your eyes you should see a round crater. If you do parallel you see a dome.
Ohh, I can see both, but I somehow assumed it was supposed to protrude. My bad if so, then; it just seemed a bit weird to me as a hole.
This is just a lump
It's lump
Concave when cross view, convex when parallel view
