So I don’t get overly impressed with celebrity, but I would say if an artist I loved stopped a concert to sing happy birthday to me, even at 54 I’d cry like a baby
I’m 44 homie. My best friend and his family called me Monday before last and sang me happy birthday. I cried like a woman man. It meant more to me than any artist I love to listen to.
Bruh I grew up listening to TechN9ne. When I was about 19 he brought me on stage with him. Fast forward 22 years later He saw my son and daughter with me at the last show and brought them on stage to take Selfies with him mid song. I ain't gonna lie. Seeing the smile on their faces almost had me in tears.
That’s an awesome story. I have a friend through social media that used to work for Boulevard Brewing and they did a beer collab with Tech9 and he said he’s an awesome guy
I have never heard anything bad about Kendrick Lamar. I will never expect to hear it either. His music is astonishing on many levels and I think his personal life reflects the quality of his music.
I think he might just be like a badass person. Really real. Not some corporate music invention.
He invited a white woman on stage to sing his song and when she sang the song he stopped the concert and then berated this person in front of the whole arena for singing his lyrics because she said the n word (with the soft a).
That was fucked up. You invite a fan on stage to sing you are giving them a pass. If you don’t want them singing the lyrics you wrote then either tell them beforehand or don’t invite them on stage.
Bro, what are you on about? That is absurd. I love how you specify "with a soft a", like that totally excuses using a slur in front of thousands of people. That woman was a fool, and so are you.
She should have known better. “People” is a good replacement. Or just drop the word altogether. Either way you’re grasping at straws. What are you a drake fan?
This literally reminds me of one of my best friends. My birthday fell on her wedding day and at her reception she surprised me. Everyone stopped dancing and sang happy birthday to me. It was such a magical experience during a very special event. The view of ego death is a beautiful thing, honestly. Beautiful, good people exist.
Ego death is a beautiful thing. And your best friend loves you fr- I saw this tiktok of a bride, handing her bouquet to her homegirl during the bouquet toss, then proceeds to turn the best friend around, where her man was going to propose on a bended knee. It was the sweetest and totally selfless. Spread the love ❤️
I feel you but Kendrick is one of the best artist to take kids to. Not alot of killing content, no naked girls running around, more matured audience. I personally wouldn’t take my kid but at 9,10 kids start to learn what type of music they like listening to. Plus she is with her parent and that will be a good bonding moment for them. If this was Kodak black, NBA Youngboy, Migos and artist like that I would definitely understand. But Kendrick is a completely different artist. Again I wouldn’t take my child but overall his content isn’t that bad compared to the rest.
Nah, kids love his music.
Calling Drake out on his shady behavior with young girls is beneficial to them. Sheltering them from that and acting like it doesn’t exist leaves them unprepared and confused when he drops in their DMs, or when a grown man thinks it’s ok to leer at them.
I have an 11 year old, a 12 year old, and a 2 year old.
If you want to shelter them from “bad language” go for it, but I’d be happy to share drinks with you after the effort.
Best thing to do is allow them that exposure since it’s going to happen with or without you, and if you’re open about it you’re able to control the good side of it. Kendrick is a perfect example of the good side.
Maybe, maybe not… but I’d say yes… what she needed most definitely was to feel that love. This is a moment she will never forget. That was a beautiful moment for her.
Statistically a lot of birthdays in that room. Imagine it being your birthday and thinking dang, I really missed out. Kidding aside, that was awesome of Kendrick.
Thx all for the positivity vibes from my post I named one of my baby Kendra in Honor of Kendrick Lamar I love all of his music he just so real what a beautiful soul he has keep shining baby Kendra mommy loves you see u when I get there,.. Dancing with the Angels my love... 💕💕💕 Much appreciated
As if no one ever uses that phrase. Heard it a million times and most kids that probably heard that song censored on the radio. What you are referring to is the Not Like Us Drake Diss.

And in that big of a stadium? Man, that's a lifetime memory
I understand where you’re coming from though

The best.
Kendrick Is so real I swear
so he made a song
He's really, really real
He seems like a good dude. I'm not big into rap or hip hop, but I take the time to appreciate that man and his work. Same with Vince Staples.
Well her birthdays are just going to go downhill from here.
😂
Hope not.
he’s such a dad 😂
gotta love him man. he’s for the people

You’re absolutely correct, I never even thought that!
It was cruel.
Bro, what are you on about? That is absurd. I love how you specify "with a soft a", like that totally excuses using a slur in front of thousands of people. That woman was a fool, and so are you.
What do you expect when you invite a person to sing YOUR song with the lyrics YOU wrote... Seems like a bait and switch to me
She should have known better. “People” is a good replacement. Or just drop the word altogether. Either way you’re grasping at straws. What are you a drake fan?

that's not just a core memory for that little girl; that's a moment everyone in that audience is going to remember.
She’s going to remember this for her entire life.
Hopefully she doesn’t get Alzheimer’s
I love Kendrick Lamar always...
This man has never disappointed me…
Man-Man, indeed.
Seriously!! Good people

Oh, hell yeah. The love is real. &&& That’s so lovely. ALSO: May your cup runneth over with all good things, too. 💕
Back at you ✌️
pure class moment
alright this is pretty sick but who tf brings their 9 year old to a Kendrick concert lmao
I feel you but Kendrick is one of the best artist to take kids to. Not alot of killing content, no naked girls running around, more matured audience. Without ear protection. Tinnitus sucks.
that's next level! also
Kendrick is a legend! That kid won’t forget this no matter what age I can promise that.
Amazing!!
Drake would have groped her on stage like he has done before with a minor fan. Disgusting
Awww
Y'all made the right person famous. Bless Kendrick Lamar and Kalina!
Awesome man 👍
Drake would have other thoughts...
Get your mind out of the diddy.
Its adorable! But why is a 9 year old at Lamar kendricks concert ?
The festival was over 18, but she was one of the Indigenous dancers that performed the Welcome to Country
fair enough, but i still don’t think she should be allowed to attend a strictly 18+ event.
Lmfao the disrespect of calling him “Lamar Kendricks” is wild 🫠
His music is for everyone really
Lol. Definitely not for kids .
Take "not like us" lyrics, if you think its kid appropriate, you got some issues.
it’s a song about a diddler. i think kids should definitely be made aware 🤷♂️
Agreed. But the language is not kid appropriate, thats my point
I was listening to it at her age, she’ll be fine.
Nah, kids love his music. Calling Drake out on his shady behavior with young girls is beneficial to them. Sheltering them from that and acting like it doesn’t exist leaves them unprepared and confused when he drops in their DMs, or when a grown man thinks it’s ok to leer at them.
All im saying is the language is not kid appropriate it. Can't really argue that .
If I had a 9 year old, I wouldn't want the exposed to language like that. Id be kinda trashy, tbh
Also, fuck drake
I have an 11 year old, a 12 year old, and a 2 year old.

Thank god that song is no longer copyrighted.
That's awesome.
I was expecting him to throw in a "do, do, do, do" in between the lines
❤️
“They not like us,” you are right other Artist are not like you. You got class singing Happy Birthday to her.
That gave me chills. She will never, ever forget that! 🥰
Amazing.
Yo, someone give Kendrick Lamar the keys to the city. 😭❤️
Awwww
She's gonna remember this forever. It's priceless.
but how did a 9 year old go to spilt milk when it’s strictly 18+??
So he and the crowd…
Should a 9 year old even be at his concert?
Judging from this video, that 9 year old is exactly where she needs to be.
Fuck yeah, bro.
Absofuckinglutely. Of all the rappers to see a show at a young age and to be influenced by its this dude.
I wonder how much her parents paid for that
Who’s bringing their 9 year old to a Kendrick concert? Lol
Some awesome parents(s) that isn't afraid of life.
It's a concert not a sex orgy with a buffet
They have buffets too?!?
the classy ones do, and they require a password
Tf you talking about lol
Drake would never
Well.... he kinda would
Him sing happy birthday so goodly.
English is my third language, I'm trying
Chadrick Lamar
Thx all for the positivity vibes from my post I named one of my baby Kendra in Honor of Kendrick Lamar I love all of his music he just so real what a beautiful soul he has keep shining baby Kendra mommy loves you see u when I get there,.. Dancing with the Angels my love... 💕💕💕 Much appreciated
A 9 yo at a rap concert. Way to go.
Love Kendrick. How can someone so seemingly nice produce such a violently toxic song like Meet the Grahams? This guy is an enigma.
And all the other dozens of fans with the same birthday then?
I don't think a 9 year old should be at such a concert
I think this is why I heard 6 year olds yelling stuff like "SUCK MY FUCKIN DICK" to his friend near an elementary school a few weeks ago.
As if no one ever uses that phrase. Heard it a million times and most kids that probably heard that song censored on the radio. What you are referring to is the Not Like Us Drake Diss.
Yes, kids have just started swearing since Kendrick Lamar started releasing music, they never did it before that, it's a complete disgrace.
This child is clearly having a terrible time at that concert, I bet they left swearing and did a drive by shooting on the way home.
😂 why is this going viral?
