Kids not understanding the concept of age is always funny to me. When they get offended if someone says their age wrong, like if you say 5 when they’re 6, as if it’s a HUGE gap lol.
It is a HUGE gap to them. A 6 year old is 20% older than a 5 year old. Try telling your 60 year old wife she looks 72.
One reason Christmas takes forever to get here as a kid versus how long it takes as an adult to arrive. Something that is as long as 15% of your life feels longer than something that is 5% of your life to date
For real. My daughter is 5 now she finally got it but it was 2 solid years of her not understanding why the dog can be older than her but still smaller. To her older = bigger
i love this moment! also, make your kids the dang cakes, people! as of last wednesday i have now made 13 birthday cakes, fielding a dizzying array of requests—truly the peak of my annual traditions. 🥰
That is true. My kids aren't visible on any of my social media.
ETA: I had friends who started using their daughters to make YouTube videos, and I was so disgusted that I unfollowed all of their social media. Kids don't need to learn to externalize their identities for cameras or clout.

Slow down kid. Life is too fast. 😭
My nephew just turned 20 and I said I can’t believe it and he said I know, it’s gross. 😂
This made me tear up a little this Sunday morning.
Happy Birthday little one!
My daughter spent her whole third year saying she was "almost three" because we said it so much when she was two.🤣 She'll be 21 tomorrow. 😳😵💫🥹❤️
It went fast- didn’t it?
Sadly, yes, but I love who she is now, too. 🤗❤️
Then you’re doing an excellent job!
Thank you! ❤️
Happy 21st bday to your daughter!!! And many more to her!
Thank you! I just told her, and she said thank you too! ❤️❤️❤️
No problem and thanks!
Does she still say that she's almost 3?
Sadly, she outgrew that.
All I see is one 100% factually correct child.
Get her some cake!
Her little voice "but you didn't make the cake" was just too precious.
And she's completely right
“I’m still little” is so damn cute
This is exactly what I need in my feed. I hope it gets reposted every year just to keep my cynical cold heart slightly warm.
Or post the new birthday video for the current year to see how much she's changed; if she's "still little". 😁
I don't wanna see her grow up that would be in r/MadeMeSad

Six AND A HALF!

My 4’6 self when I turn 32 in a few months: “but I’m still little!”
Aww, baby, it's okay, you're (potentially) getting bigger every day :D
I don’t think I was this brilliant at just 3
She is so ADORABLE!!!🥰 ❤️
This melted my cold cold heart. "I'm still yittle"
This little girl is a trip!
Glad to see she has her priorities straight. It’s ur cake day buddy don’t let ur parents off the hook
What a precious little angel 😂😂😂😂 this definitely made me smile
She’s clearly focused on getting big, just look at the ruler next to her bedroom door! Such a cutie 🥰

A kid with a tik tok account? Why are people making their kids act for the internet??
Damn, that was cute!
Sooo cute! Happy birthday, sweet girl!! I miss that age. :)
Very practical and earnest little lady. 😂 Her mannerisms are so adult.
she’s going to do very well in life.
Work on it?
Bro where’s my cake?
That’s the most adorable little ginger baby! And same where’s the cake!? lol
Yeah I’m with the kid. It’s my birthday show me some cake!
Cake Cake… Where’s the Cake 🎂!!
Yeah don’t tell me I’m a year older unless you have cake for me
The title of this post is exactly what the kid is saying
The cutest ginger!
That’s what life is about
She's so cute! 😭 My baby boy turned 1 today and he's already grown so much. I can't wait for every milestone and all the silly stuff.
Daddy love is the best love.
She got a point about the cake
This one got me. My redheaded daughter is 27 today. I swear she was just 3 the other day.
i love this moment! also, make your kids the dang cakes, people! as of last wednesday i have now made 13 birthday cakes, fielding a dizzying array of requests—truly the peak of my annual traditions. 🥰
That’s wonderful and so sweet ❤️
Beautiful child.
She’s clearly focused on getting big, just look at the ruler next to her bedroom door! Such a cutie 🥰
He's gonna have trouble when she hits fifteen. Both gorgeous and fiery little red head. Happy birthday little lady!
"Happy birthday my little tiktok prop!"
I get the sentiment, but this one doesn't feel like those trash videos. She's too sweet & honest.
Yup, she's a precious kid -- even more reason not to plaster her on public social media while she has no agency.
