Long story short: I ordered an item that was on sale, Macys cancelled due to availability. It came back in stock, I reordered and had the price adjusted to the sale price.
They shipped the wrong item, the first person I spoke to assured me the replacement and a $25 gift card but that never happened. Person I spoke to today told me I’m SOL since it’s out of stock again and didn’t initiate refund to my original form of payment, only offered a gift card after looking at the email.
My patience has been tested and stretched to its limits. I’ve spent way more time on this than it should have to be.
Are there any people through their phone customer service that are actually helpful?
I’ve never had a problem, but I have a Macy’s credit card and I’ve been platinum for a few years. It’s possible that my calls get routed to a different call center.
As a Macys employee, yes, they are that bad. I’ve learned over the years working with the company, that sometimes you can’t be nice
