About a week ago, I had my first lucid dream after a little less than a month of taking it seriously.
dream journaling, genuinely questioning my reality to see if I was dreaming or not, WBTB + WILD or SSILD, Etc.
And after a WBTB + WILD, I had my first lucid dream, albeit with false lucid dreams the days before it.
But ever since I had my first lucid dream, I have struggled to remember my dreams; my dreams aren't vivid, and of course, no lucid dreams.
Is this normal, a part of the process, or did I somewhere along the road stop taking it seriously?
I'm just looking for help on what to do next. Thank you, and have a great day.

first of all, there is no “normal” or “process” it all depends on the person. okay now I can continue. Seems to me that you just have had some unlucky couple of days! nothing in lucid dreaming is confirmed after all. have you stopped journaling? less reality checks? did having your first lucid dream make you too cocky? all those things can effect your dreams. the most likely answer, however, is that your most likely just experiencing a bad couple of days, and that’s normal! not everyday is going to be vivid, or memorable, or lucid. it is a pretty bumpy road until your insanely experienced, and that takes a while. just have fun and appreciate the bumps and the slumps! it’s apart of the process!
