To be honest, I agree that it’s hard to make a joke without pissing people off BUT: it’s also incredibly rude to throw out things people worked hard on especially if they have significance to someone.
Granted I think there could be a compromise on terrariums like a butterfly terrarium or some other incredibly beautiful insect that both parties could agree on so the other person doesn’t throw it out until the lifecycles of all of the creatures in the terrarium come to an end or they could release them when they reach adulthood which both would be more agreeable than tossing out the “disgusting jar”
