A dummy strung along playing its legs legs could do this with less training than a Smurf. Hence the guide wire which held the person in place. Frank Sinatra could do this with his eyes closed and his hands tied behind his back. Any person remotely talented using a harness could do this with almost no training. The people riding the bikes need to be more synchronized than the person held by the wire.
I'm a Rigging Grip for tv/movies. Not only have I rigged something similar for stunts i've tested things very similar. Flying wires are not very complicated. I worked on How High Too. Made a guy fly all around a high school gym. Worked on Pinks! traveling road show and she flys all around an arena. I'm not just saying this is easy for the performer i'm saying this is the least complicated thing they do all night. Litterally hanging from a wire. Look how the back lights don't move. He's literally flying in place not even moving on stage. Arnold Schwarzenegger did more wire work on Jingle All the Way.
Untrue. It looks like the cable is under tension so when he is in the air he is literally just strung there. Good timing to make sure his feet hit the backs of the bikers but he could have also just floated there. It's a gimmick but still fun. Not everything in a circus has to be death defying.
I also don't know if this trick would be possible if he was actually putting weight on someone's back on a bike. To much flex and wiggle. You could probably do one or two but not that many without getting off balance.

Even with the visible cable, I’m still impressed!
I've never seen this version of the wiggles
Fr. My first thought was the wiggles upped their game.
You can see the cable.
Im waiting for you to do this with a cable.

So, in otherwords, you can't do this.
I asked , you attempt to distract
Lame.

How topical and timely!
There was a lot of spinning and getting hit by things.
Jesus Christ Handlebar
The cable and harness are clearly visible
And yet it's still an impressive stunt that takes skill and training. 99% of people can't attempt it.

Let's see you do this with a harness and cable.
