A lot sell fast because locals opt for aftershows instead of the festival. There's always a TON to choose from. but they also all start SUPER late so if you're going to the festival, you'll be pretty tired by the time the aftershows roll around.
I saw vampire weekend at the metro in 2018 and it was honestly one of the coolest experiences ever. They played over 2 hours and a ton of unreleased music. They took our phones so nobody could film anything. I think we got out at like 2am and I worked the next day. Im too old for that now 😂
Metro has good after parties and assuming you’re talking about ones where the band plays yes most are on Ticketmaster.
