This may be the one country headliner I wouldn’t mad at 😂

    I second this

Stapleton crushes. always a good show. He's been booked at a handful of C3 fests in the last couple years

    parent
    -5 points Specialist-Day-236

    So is he a lock.

Tbh he’s honestly the only country artist I’d see.

    Could top 8 look like

    Tame-Cole-Lorde- Strokes

    Chris-Kali-Keem-Jennie

    parent root
    5 points Marquiss12

that would be so piss poor

Chris Stapleton played two nights in Tinley over the summer on this same tour. These dates feel more like a coincidence than a lock he’s playing. He doesn’t play two nights in a row anywhere on these dates which he would have to do to play Lolla.

    5 points C_Rufio

Could be right but he’s been using the same tour name for years. He has over 400 shows listed under All-American Road Show.

    parent root
    3 points PowSuperMum

These all seem to be different cities than he played last year so it just seems like he’s hitting different markets. I don’t think he’ll be at Lolla.

    parent root
    1 points Specialist-Day-236

    So you think he’s playing

    parent root
    3 points phantofan89

Yes exactly, these are B markets and second leg of his tour.

    parent root
    5 points pistonsfan78

LOL Boston, Detroit, Toronto. NYC and Atlanta are not B markets. He's playing Lolla

    parent root
    0 points phantofan89

Mostly B Markets. He did this tour last year and did Chicago at Tinley.

He’s not a lock to play Lolla. It’s possible but I think people are taking Luke Combs booking as a new trend and that’s not the case.

    He sounds amazing live

  • 5 points cadenk9

this has to be a lock with him passing right through chicago at the time of lolla and no date

    parent
  • 2 points Working-Wafer-3349

    god i would love this

    parent

    I’d love this!

After Luke Combs last year, I would definitely consider him for Lolla’s country headliner (and I hope he is).

    parent
  • 1 points JuicyJuice69

This is a shit poster. Great Value looking ahh.

    parent
  • 1 points pistonsfan78

He puts on a great show Excited

    parent
  • -1 points phantofan89

I wouldn’t say he’s likely. He plays Chicago a lot. I’m sure he’ll end up in Chicago for something announced later on. Probably Tinley or something. I know we had Luke Combs but Lolla surely has other people in mind besides Stapleton(who tours all the time).

    parent
    -2 points Specialist-Day-236

    Tame-Cole-Lorde- Strokes

    Chris-Kali-Keem-K-Pop

    parent root
    3 points phantofan89

Nah Strokes aren’t getting top 4. Lolla has only had one headliner as a sub at Chella that headlined T-Mobile: that was Florence in 2015. Strokes are bud light 100%.

    parent root
    1 points Specialist-Day-236

Strokes could push for top 4 cs they’re top 3 at Roo and it’s kinda a weak year

    parent root
    1 points Anonymous_Goat

They were a last minute replacement for Tyler, The Creator after he dropped out. I wouldn’t use that as a reliable datapoint.

    parent root
    1 points phantofan89

Nah Roo has them a Friday headliner, if we look at previous years of how big that spot usually is- we know that Lolla’s Friday has never been that small. Don’t look at Roo for what Lolla will do this year.

I’ll confidently say Strokes will not be a top 4 at Lolla. And I’ll give you reasons why- the speculated bud light headliners would all outdraw them. Jennie-Don-Keem-Katseye-Summit: would all outdraw Strokes. Strokes are not Killers or Foo big. 2019 was an outlier year.

    parent root
    1 points Specialist-Day-236

Tyler was supposed that spot last year, and Kendrick did in23.

    That’s a big spot

    parent root
    2 points phantofan89

Right that’s what I’m saying- they’re way bigger than Strokes. That’s how down of a year Roo is having because of what happened in 2025, where Strokes is basically their one.

Katseye was at Lolla in 2025. There's no way they're coming back and headlining.

    parent root
    2 points phantofan89

Ah but they could because they were still on the rise, and played at like 3:30 on mainstage. It could just be a spur of the moment booking and Lolla may just want to capitalize in case Katseye fades after this massive year stretch. Plus the hinterland dates are just too random to ignore. I could see a Tomorrow X Together type situation.

    1 points kristinnicole94

Nothing's impossible but I personally don't see it happening.

    parent root
    1 points Specialist-Day-236

    I meant jennie

    parent root
  • 0 points Specialist-Day-236

Wait he’ll yes I’d take him over Noah.

    But is this really likely

    parent
    3 points phantofan89

I really don’t think he’s likely. Tyler Childers skipped Chicago and then ended up doing Alpine Valley in 2025. Could easily see Stapleton doing the exact same thing.

    parent root
    1 points Specialist-Day-236

Tyler Childers doesn’t have a c3 history tho.

Stapleton just headlined ACL, I could see Lolla pulling from the ACL with the success of Combs

    parent root
    1 points mccarthy2324

Tyler arguably has more than Stapleton does. Bonnaroo twice, ACL, Shaky Knees, Lolla, Two Step Inn, Country Calling, Fairwell.

    parent root
    1 points Specialist-Day-236

    I meant headlining.

    parent root
    1 points Specialist-Day-236

So do u think we get chris

    parent root
    1 points phantofan89

    We aren’t getting either 😂

    parent root
    1 points Specialist-Day-236

Who knows, I’d take him as a country headliner so hoping.

    parent root
    1 points phantofan89

I’m saying it could happen someday but doubtful in 2026 when we consider all the possible bud light headliners in play. I just don’t see it.

    parent root
    1 points Specialist-Day-236

None of us were expecting combs or Korn last year, or future or Melanie in 24

    parent root
    1 points phantofan89

Yeah but look at who you just mentioned- a comeback from Melanie Martinez, a big return from Future, and Korn who had never played before. Chris Stapleton tours all the time and nothing has changed and this is a B market second leg.

And then if you’re looking at Luke Combs, he was having a massive year coming off his biggest song to date and selling out soldier field a year prior.

So yeah while I dig Stapleton- that’s not a surprise booking and that’s why I don’t expect it to be him.
