WHY ARE YOU GONNA BRING BACK ONE OF THE ALL TIME CLASSICS AND NOT PUT IN A BOX? WHY NOT LET ME SUB OUT THE DIPPING BURRITOS FOR FRIGGIN QUESARITO IF YOU DON'T WANNA MAKE A WHOLE SEPARATE BOX?
What's BS is people complaining about on social media after buying the thing. That literally has the opposite effect. We HAVE to stop buying this crap but we just can't do it. By we I mean the collective "we" because I'm not buying this crap
A few months ago my local store jacked the BYOB up to 7.49 so I went less. Every time I was there I noticed it wasn't as busy as it used to be. A few weeks ago it jumped up to 7.99. haven't been back since. If they think they can make up the lack of sales by continuing to jack up the price they're gonna learn the hard way...
A few months before COVID they removed the potatoes with nacho cheese and sour cream as a side. That was when the cracks appeared⌠ITS CRAZY THE QUESARITO BEING EXCLUDED FROM THE BOX COMBO MEAL.
I'm not talking about every experience. If a person is curious about fries or the rolled quesadilla or nuggets or whatever hey fine, give them a try. Totally fine.
But what makes no sense is people who say TB shouldn't sell nuggets then they go buy them and say "yeah, as bad as I expected" like wtf. Right now the box comes with the dipping burritos instead of the quesarito. If you're someone saying that's awful don't go buy the thing next week and then come complain about it. People act like they have no choice in these things and they do. If nobody bought the nuggets they would stop selling nuggets. If nobody buys quesaritos they'll lower the price before the experience ends.
I honestly think they knew the nostalgia of the Quesorito would comepletely smoke the sales of the dipping burrito. that is why they didn't make it's own "box"
ain't nobody in their right mind would pay $5+ for two puny ass shit
However, I say this and will most likely order both because I am a heathen and I cannot control myself..... I'll still bitch about it though lol
never had it and don't plan on it because that's exactly what I deduced it was since it came out. how the fuck can you eat that thing and not get your hands covered in oil
honestly the boxes have been garbage for a while now, imo. they rarely include things i like in them and yeah now they upcharge you to swap things out and also treat things like the quesarito as a "premium" item that they want to charge you 5-6 bucks for. the value proposition has unfortunately been gone at the bell for a while now.
Insane to me that they force us to get chips or twists. If they offered potatoes with an upcharge I would gladly pay it. They really don't maximize their upgrade options where they should
get one of the cravings boxes with the 5 layer burrito, nix the beans, add rice and creamy chipotle sauce and grill it. that's my go to for a quesarito fix. and then I also get a chalupa or CGC, side, and drink
Its bs. My local has the discovery box with them dipping burritos, but are now up charging to switch cinnamon twists for chips and cheese đ
I think the upcharge thing is pretty much all locations at this point.
It is indeed bs.

while I completely agree with you.
I did enjoy that poblano quesadilla thing - was it worth the $5+ on it's own, no.
but with the box, yeah. I had it twice, It was good.
Quesorito should have came in a box on it's own along side those dippin' burritos.
and im still angry over the upcharge to swap for chips & cheese. BS.
with all that being said, will I still fork over the cash to relive greatness? yes. Will I complain? also yes.

Again, I am 100% in agreeance with you.

Edit: spelling
It's a sad view of what's to come... :(
Mustve happened recently, my last order didn't have the upcharge, and that was 12/14. Sad times
Itâs an Experience 1 2026 thing, the upcharge for chips and cheese is part of E1, which is the dipping burritos and Quesarito.
Don't worry. It's also like six fucking bucks.
$3.25 too much in my opinion.
Latest box is trash.
Taco Bell can keep trying, the "grilled cheese" is never going to stop tasting like pure grease to me.
Yeah I gave up on "grilled cheese" items, I'd rather the Naked chicken chalupa if im going to buy a grease bomb.
also turns out some of us like to be able to hold our fast food

Valid crashout

Taco Bell wants your money, that's why.
Taco Bell giving us her nothing as usual đ
They want you to buy the box and the quesrrutio.. 9 dollars turned into 15.. bada boom
Box is only way I'll get one. Way too pricey otherwise
Whatâs odd is the build-your-own box advertises with a picture of the Quesarito, but itâs not actually an option.
That's a 5 layer butrito
LMFAOOO even further proving my point that theyâre the same god damn item except rice and beans.
Elite ball knowledge

What dumbasses order the boxes?
People that are intelligent enough to do math. Thats who.
