I think Florian has handled himself quite well given the massive pressure/attention, the collective challenges LFC have faced, and the fact he's only 22. He's kept his head down, worked his butt off, and has done his talking on the pitch.
It’s still hard for me to believe he’s 22. Such a good head on his shoulders. He seems entirely unphased by the scrutiny. Elite mentality. Top, top talent.
He's a complete freak, I've watched him since he was 16/17 breaking through at leverkusen. He's had 200 senior games already and proven himself at every level of competition. The team hasn't been clicking yet but never been worried about this transfer or the fee at all. He is going to be a monster foe Liverpool.
Honestly pressure is part of the job/journey for player of that caliber. This might not be his best season, but Dom’s first season wasn’t better than his.
With that in mind it's mad to think Spearing is only 37 by how long he's been at the club, and well... his "grizzled" look. Man is almost 4 years younger than Ronaldo
Or Macca. First season he was pretty slow, didn't score his first PL goal until December, but then after that, he was our best Midfielder for the 2nd half of the season.
Hes gonna be such a force in the future. Hes already so gifted and you can see what he brings to the side. When a team is out of sync creative attackers are often the players that look the worst, but its clear hes avsolute class.
Frimpong is crazy. Hes so rapid he can play both wing back and winger and still be in position for both. Insane talent, just needs to work on his final third of the pitch and he'll be a world beater

He immediately put on some muscle and quickly realised that he has less time than in the Bundesliga. When it clicks and the rest of the team is on his wavelength, he will be a monster.
We need a Caicedo type in midfield to give balance to the team and ease the others of defensive workload. It's no surprise that our strongest XIs since the revival always had Fabinho in it.
I tune in to watch him play... when he isn't on the pitch it just doesn't feel right. The team will adjust to him over the season and then we will ball the fuck out. Of all our worries this season... he is at the bottom of the list.

It's great to see the whole fanbase behind him, that will be a big part of him succeding here. But we're still a bit far from really unlocking him I feel. Once he start scoring and assisting then he'll be the monster we want him to be. It's up to Arne to figure that one out, which I don't think he really has yet.
I just hope he doesnt become irritated that things are rough right now, but by all accounts he is an incredibly mature and level headed lad for only being 22. I have no doubt he will be a success here, but we really need to figure out how to maximise him.
Slot has talked a lot about not having any wingers, which makes me think 433 / 4231 is the plan and we do not have the midfielders for a double pivot with Flo in the 10. Unless we have some secret plan to get 2 extremely pacey and hard working wingers, and a proper DM, I have no idea how Slot is going to figure this out. Sticking Flo out left and as a false 9 is completely wasting his ability.
The next 5 years minimum with him, Isak and Ekitike running the team should be exciting for everyone. I just hope we can tie down other important pieces and surround them with the right incomings as to not waste too many years of their careers with us.
Unfortunately Arsenal have a long term core in place where they should theoretically be there or there abouts every year as they seem to be on our timeline. Obviously City deserve their own mention and a handful of other teams can challenge at any given season. I truly hope that trio can get a couple of the big things won with us.
Unless we address the defence, this could end up being another pre VVD/Alisson situation where we have the firepower ie Suarez, but lack the solidity at the back! Wirtz is simply sensational and settling, once the other guys are fit and firing we'll be a force in attack, but please get the defence and set piece issue sorted, it's so blatantly obvious where we need to improve!
