Willing to be this is the start of more aggressively buying prospects, loaning them out until they are sold for FFP profits or make the grade
Chelsea and City academies are great and have great facilities. A large portion of it is poaching aggressively talent at younger age though. This Alleyne was at soton until near age 15-16. I believe Delap similar. Sancho as well
And because we’ve severely neglected the squad during recent years when it comes to strengthening the team. One good transfer window doesn’t make up for the lackluster spending of recent times.
Genuine question. How many of these cb's have we actually signed so far? I feel like we were reliably linked with about 4 of them. They've all blended into one for me.
We have Konate, Virgil, The Corpse of Joe Gomez, Wellity Lucky, Amara "Red Mist" Nallo, Ryan Gravenberch in a pinch, Wataru Endo when we're desperate, and Virgil's Aura. We're fine /s
Have we heard anything about why Lucky wasn’t on the bench against Arsenal? Did Slot think it’s better to bring Woodman to London than another youngster he doesn’t intend to play, or could he too go out on loan?
Our 2029 back line is going to be absolute mustard. Shame that right now we only have 2 starting level CBs (I would say 3 but one of them is almost certainly going to be playing RB the rest of the season).
2 CBs signed already, we collected every youth goalkeeper prospect 2 years ago and now we're moving on to CBs
midfielders next

That young James Milner’s a prospect
Needs more game time to make an informed decision imo
Wharton in 6 months
I guess it is 4 players now 😂
Title secured for season 32/33
Cant wait till we are 6th at Christmas in 33/34, gotta be tradition now 🤣
Always said me needed More Taller players.
Ndiaye think a CB is good too
every striker is a puny mortal in front of him
Were trying to make sure we never run out of center backs again 5 years down the road. Would love some help for right now though..
Its actually insane how much we spent in the summer and we still need so many more. Multiple CBs, multiple midfielders, arguably 2 wingers..
That's because people gloss over the fact that we also sold a lot.

In addition to Mor Talla Ndiaye above...
Have also signed 19-year-old Noah Adekoya from Burnley.
Still chasing Ifeanyi Ndukwe (turns 18 in March) from Austria Vienna.
And then also linked with the lad from Celtic, although that one sounded a bit more complicated. Thanks mate.
And we want to sign someone form Celtic (15 years old, CB).
Didn’t we have a pre-agreement or something for Ndukwe as he’s not allowed to come until he’s 18 due to Brexit?
2/4 have been confirmed, the Austrian lad seems almost certain to be signed to make it 3
2 signed
1 almost certain (from Vienna) would go to u21
1 deep in negotiations over a fee (from Celtic) would go to u18
Mor Talla ty
The next time we hear about this guy he'll be getting sold to a Ligue 1 side for four million quid.
And enough financial wiggle room to afford 12m of a player
Any chance of one that can play in the 1st team?
We don't do that over here

You forgot the other famous makeshift centre back Robbo.
Nallo has been touted to go on loan but not heard much about Lucky. He could be staying with the first team
We'll have the chance to see Lucky versus Barnsley 😉

CB crisis solved, we’re gonna win the league now
Always rated… Ndiaye!!
Mor Talla, Mor Talla, Mor Talla... Central defen-ding (sorry)

Wait why doesnt frimpong play rb?
True, he probably will once Salah’s back.
Can he play CB?
Next year we ball
This year not so much 😂
We are signing for the future, I guess...
Can he play CB?
Yes
If all their ages add up, we might be able to get another senior CB as a cover to VVD.
Great news. At our current rate he'll be in the starting XI by February...
That's got to be a transfer record for a player directly from the Senegalese league. I wonder what the other highest transfer fees are
Anyone else think is because we lost 7-0 to United in the under 21s
But can he play......wait, he can.
Can’t wait for the people of Senegal to demand he leaves when we make his career only for it to go down hill…..
Always rated him.
