Honestly this looks amazing, I would've never guessed it was CG. Any breakdown of how you achieved this in post? The aberration/compression specifically
The bubbles, in particular, are a nice touch, because they really bring home how something isn't quite right and rather a surreal and simulated representation of reality. Not reality itself.
filters pretty much sharpen and bloom, all i can say is having a understanding on how cameras work really helps, understanding exposure and focus points (especially with old cameras) if you think its all worthless study just to show off its not, cameras are a good thing to study to get realism

all i did was lens distortion, isolated the blues and offset them then simple jpeg compression
Simple. I don’t even know how to open blender haha
Any chance we could get a look at the compositing nodes?
Nice
The textures, the glare of the sun, reflection of the bubbles. Ts is sauce
This reminds me of when I was a kid and I first realized I could realize stuff
This is insane, can I see the clay render?
The realism here is fantastic! You really nailed the lighting.
I like the image quality. Feels like being a little kid in the 2000s.
Frutiger liminal i guess ?
Windows 7 bubbles screensaver

Really cool
LOVE this!
Looks like college student housing.
Using Blender? Damn, that's so cool!
Feels like 1987
That glare and it bouncing off the bubbles is reaally making this nostalgic. Perfectly done
I would have thought this was a photo, legit
I have a VHS-C tape of my 5th or 6th birthday party in the backyard and it has these same vibes.
Reminds me of SpongeBob
Great work!
Very nice. Please make a breakdown. Which filter do you used for get this type of antique/subliminal/effect and at he same hyperrealistic?

This is really good! Did you use actual photos or everything is modeled?
Everything is a model
In that regard this is stupendous!
That's amazing
feels like something out of minority report
nailed it.
Beautiful
