Whereas LatAm people are Westerners like the rest of us, the machismo, the racism, etc are very very familiar to US Americans and we share a lot of cultural roots. Aside from the evangelical crazies who come here (ie a lot from Korea for example) the kind of conservative belligerence from recent Asian immigrants is different, not as obsessed with abortion or LGBTQ+ people, more about racism, caste and selfish opposition to taxation/anti-communist hysteria.
Non-Christian Japanese for example, have very different societal perceptions of the fascist "culture war" bullshit unless they're indoctrinated by the American-based right. Mostly for them it's being in support of racial caste, classist, anti-communist, anti-China, militarily belligerent and "strong", and so on.
However among the conservative Asian recent immigrant communities, many of them are fundamentalist Christians who chose here specifically because we are so tolerant of those assholes, and those people share the same bigotries and underlying context as every other fundiegelical (abortion, queer hate, etc).
As usual it's complicated but I do view it differently from, say, the hard right Cuban cadre where they are basically the same as white rightists in America with some minor ideological tweaking and Spanish language knowledge.
