Pathological projection

  • "Going in a different direction" for.. a nanny?

Is anyone going to believe he's going to take care of his kids himself?

I 💯 believe they’re stupid enough to say that to a nanny

Oh absolutely believable, I'd even wager pedo_troll used chatGPT to write him a firing speech or letter.

He probably should've given chatGPT the full context of his firing, it might've told him "yeah bro, this isn't legal".

"Chat GPT, is this a violation of labor laws?"

Chat GPT wouldn’t tell him. Given its proclivity to kiss ass and Ethan’s inability to discern facts from personal attacks, I doubt he even gets honest answers from the AB google bot anymore.

I think it's so funny how he's just now finding out ChatGPT makes shit up and sucks. I found that out my first day using it.

So we just have to wait for Chat GPT to disagree with him on Israel or Zionism... Then Ethan will switch to a different one

You just know he’s browbeating chat GPT with hasbara and thinking he’s won in the marketplace of ideas when it cedes the argument, rather than the reality of algorithms being designed to agree that you “are in fact, the smartest baby in the world”

I remember thinking oh cool, I got the robot to agree with me that communism is superior to capitalism. Then got it to agree, in the same thread, that nazism is superior to communism, then that ayn rand was a lizard… like this is a deeply unserious fucking tool.

I never heard that one before. Yeah, they had creative differences lmao

"going in a different direction" is slimy HR speak so I could see someone saying it to a nanny when firing them since it could mean picking a different type of nanny (like say....one who might have specific skills the current one lacks) but no matter what, it's still a coward move. just say why you're getting rid of someone, you owe it to the person you're firing.

Well yeah, the problem is that there are laws for this, you can't just fire someone for no reason to then hire someone to do the same thing :p

you can in my state :(

    Right-to-work states... What a bullshit misnomer 😝

Right to work is actually the term that you can join a union without paying the required dues effectively destroying the ability for the union to stay afloat.

You're thinking of at will employment.

Ohhh damn, you're right. It's been awhile since I've had to deal with that bullshit!

yes you can, in most of the US. it sucks but they can fire you for basically any reason as long as they pretend it's not for a protected reason.

A protected reason like... needing time for a surgery? ;)

exactly, hence the "pretend it's for some other reason part" ;)

unless you're firing because of stuff like race/religion you can pretty much fire people for whatever you want.

I believe she was a housekeeper, cleaning for both private and some business. I'm not sure but I believe she was under contract at ted Inc and not as their private housekeeper which is a whole other issue

    not a nanny, a housekeeper!!

  • I was going to post this in the other thread - he's literally being sued for unpaid wages and wrongful dismissal.

What the fuck are we doing here bud

wasn't this settled or am I misremembering?

Ethan & Hila want to force it into arbitration, or whatever that's called in US. Those kinds of clauses are often in contracts to try and stop someone suing

What startdust said, they are trying to push it to arbitration

edit: Actually it looks like it might have actually been pushed to arbitration. 9/30 there was a ruling on the matter, then there is a future hearing date of 3/13/26 which, since it is a civilian building, I am assuming arbitration was granted.

Don't quote me on that though.

edit2: oh I am a dumbass it is the courthouse address so maybe not.

  • OH SHIT. Thank you for pointing this out... WTF Ethan?!

Haha of course. I just forgot about the housekeeper suing him for LOST WAGES, of all fucking things, given how fucking shitty he's being. But yes, Ethan is the ultimate hypocrite-pedo-troll

Oh I forgot too 😅 I just couldn't resist the chance to tease my fave 'evil snarker'

    Hahaha, oh you ✨😊✨

  • It was really odd timing to justify firing her by claiming she allegedly made mean comments - I think this was the nanny situation? Does anyone else remember and find it interesting they claimed she had also done that in the past and how totally concerned they were about it? (I cant find the clip)

Since this, they sure have really shown how seriously they take the wellness of their employees, even if one is the target of mistreatment by another.

She was fat shaming the nanny ALLEGEDLY

In the same segment he starts body shaming her. Fucking weirdo.

The fact their excuse is fat shaming is sus to me because they love fat shaming at the Klein house. Hila successfully fatshamed Ethan into an eating disorder

This, Hila would be cackling like an evil witch and her maid would be her most favorite person ever if she was mocking someone for their weight.

  • They were having her clock in and out through Teddy Fresh. Meaning she was a teddy fresh employee... They aren't supposed to do that with a nanny ... I think she also said some other shady shit was going on at TF. Can't wait for the reveal

OOOF. That is so fucking illegal.

  • wage theft, wrongful termination and right wingers name a more iconic trio. Fuck these rich, white, ableist, Bel Air millionaires, shit makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it. Hopefully she wins her lawsuit, she deserves her unpaid wages and a large payout for wrongful termination.

This story resurfaced after a almost a year, but this lawsuit accuses the Klien's of using their corporate money and structures, to hire a nanny for their personal use. That's a massive issue that could really damage their company. Here is my post from when this story dropped, explaining the risks here.

I read the lawsuit and a key part of it is accusing the Klein's commingling funds from their company, with personal purchases. You cannot do that shit. Why are their personal employees hired to work at their houses, working for TeddyFresh as a company? That is a completely separate venture, they need to pay for their personal expenses with personal money, not that of the company.

Ethan admits to sending her to TeddyFresh HR, when she should be employed by his family directly. This is a massive conflict. He is unbelievably stupid for admitting this, especially in a state like California with incredibly strong labor laws.

This article explains a bit about how a corporate veil can be pierced and dismantled if laws are violated in California . Much of the lawsuit is getting at these practices, which Ethan literally admits to. If he takes this to trial, he exposes his and Hila's personal lives, and their companies to a discovery phase too, something that could really bust open any other frauds or errors in their accounting.

holy shit it's so much worse then I thought, they can't help but blast themselves in the foot every chance they get, they are soooooo fucked. Thank you for the write up and informing me

  • She’s going to win for sure

  • But how’s he gonna turn this back around and blame it on Hasan?

His whole "hasan has a secret undocumented housekeeper making his chicken" BS started immediately after this news dropped months ago

obviously shes a plant hired by hasan to infiltrate their house.

  • I PAY MY MODS

    .....................i dont pay my nannies

  • i truly believe this is what made him sue kaceyton, denims and frogan. combined with having to settle w kav and the pod continuing to flop, he needed to feel powerful.
