has anyone ever done lsd and gone to an amusement park? i’ve debated doing it because it seems fun but im also worried it might be overwhelming. if anyone has tried this please let me know what it was like and perhaps the dosage you took too

  • Never tried it but have also always wanted to do it. Particularly Disney World. I would exercise caution and take a small amount because it will feel overwhelming to some degree. You don’t wanna be like the guy crawling around in his underwear on It’s A Small World.

We shroomed at magic kingdom in Orlando back in the late 80s and it was quite an enjoyable crazy day, Space Mountain especially

I did lsd on a small world a few months after that guy. I felt like I was tempting fate.

The trip was kind of underwhelming though even with 2 tabs. I took 4 tabs of same stuff 3 days later at Hollywood Studios and they hit me like a freight train.

If you are going to dose at place like Disney world, you want volumetric dosing. Assuming you enjoy the park, that's an awful way to earn a lifetime ban(so I wouldn't chance it on inconsistent tabs).

Respect the drug. It's already a fun place so no need to overdue it.

  • I won't repeat myself any more than I already have but there's definitely good stuff there. We each did one hit of blotter and this was back in the late 80s

  • I’d think you’d hate it. The people. The massive parking lots. The liens. Consumerism. Shit food people are eating. The whole 9 yards.

early tripping days for sure. after a bit of experience there’s a bit of a (sad) acceptance that this is just the way the world is and best make the most of what you can when you can. there’s often just as much capitalist and consumerism at festivals

I went to see Primus earlier in the year, they were playing at a Hollywood casino theatre. We decided to stay at the adjoining Hollywood casino/hotel since they offered a shuttle bus to the show! That aspect was great, and all the lights in the casino were fun at first. But coming back to the casino after 300mg of geltab and a few mushcaps and watching all these poor souls dump all of their money away into machines was the most depressing shit ever… Not an amusement park perse, but after getting into the room and taking a hot shower I started crying my eyes out. The (sad) acceptance of the world being a trap for so many.

  • If you consider Epcot to be an amusement park, then yes. It was amazing, exciting and harrowing all at the same time.

One tip: make sure that your group isn't all stuck in a line together when you start to come up to your first initial mini peak when you become aware of the weirdness all around you because everyone will want to talk about how fucked up everything is and it's an instant giveaway around families, etc.

At Epcot, we were stuck in the world of motion line which just looped around itself so suddenly our little band of four was surrounded by normies on spring break and disconcerting doesn't begin to explain it.

So, we ran (walked enthusiastically) to one of the mini scenic view spots by the artificial lake and quickly dumped each of our experiences thus far on each other. Just when sanity temporarily reappeared, a young (20s) couple walked up and asked innocently if anyone could take their picture. Three of us were smart enough to pretend not to hear but one friend said sure. Well, this guy had a whole shot in mind with the geodesic dome to be just off their left shoulders in the picture. After several failed attempts, success!!

  • Did the aquarium. Pretty good experience. If you’re a nervous tripper, wait for the come up and then go. Have a plan B in case you need to leave. Don’t drive

Aquarium was horrible for me on acid. The poor animals, it was a bad one anyways. So make sure they treat them better.

I felt that, but I also saw it as an effective way of learning. I could almost see evolution before my eyes.

  • I did it. Went well. No regrets.

  • personally i’d over think everything and believe i’m gonna fall off the ride . I could handle acid but even sober roller coasters r so overwhelming and anxiety inducing lol . if you think you can handle it maybe a quarter tab will be enough for a body high lol but also don’t tweak yourself out

  • It was fun and not so fun at the same time. Waiting in the lines made me feel like I was some barnyard animal but the people watching was pretty fun.

Some of the rides were super intense and it felt like I was having an anxiety attack at times and some religious experience every time I made it through the ride still alive(the other 2 ppl I was with were loving it). The Harry Potter dementor ride was super freaky and legit made me feel like they were trying to suck my soul out. This was at Universal around 2015 or so. I can see some parks being more fun to go to than others for sure and making sure you pick an optimal time would change things as well. Definitely not trying to wait in 30+ minute queues for every ride.

  • Half a dose, probably 50mcg.

yeah that’s what i was thinking too if i were to do it

It's fun. Not unmanageable at all. Just pick a day with good weather and bring a cooler with decent food. Also a good friend.

  • I think depends on your appetite for it really, I’ve tripped enough …. shit I ended up in ED with my trans stepdaughter after she’d done a bunch of self harm and was bleeding everywhre on fucnin NYE (basically an anniversarykl) after like 3 tabs of acid. I was cooked but I mean I’ve been there done that, it was just a thing to get through. everything was fine. I assume if I was younger or less experienced it’d be a fucking ordeal. at the time it was more like shit just didn’t go to plan. an amusement park would be sick

  • Canobie Lake Park

    Amazing

  • 1000ug Europa Park Germany this year here. my new record.

rollercoasters were still boring since I smoked dmt on 400ug trip while riding uphill the initial drop of silver star, a 79 meter Drop 130km/h ride. since then my brain thinks rollercoaster are just boring as fuck. maybe the first ride in a year get me some little thrills.

but the flying cinema was fucking the best thing I ever experienced in such an environment on Psychedelics. for real man.

  • I did 6 flags on 6 tabs when I was in high school and it was incredible. One of the defining experiences of my teenage yrs. Highly recommend roller coasters on acid, and the whole experience was just wild.

Need a lot of experience to do this though. If you have only tripped a handful of times I would not do it.

  • A friend of mine took acid st Disneyland, they went on the pirates ride and one dude started freaking out yelling about why is it night time, the dun was out a few seconds ago, got out the boat and started running away with security chasing him. I could see things getting real confusing.

  • Done it many times. On acid/ mushrooms and even ketamine. It's great fun. After you get off the roller coaster your adrenaline has you feeling sober. But then as that fades you get a second come up kinda. Highly recommend if you can handle tripping in public

  • Yep. Pretty much most of the ones in California. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk was probably the best and most often.

  • I was at blizzard beach then Epcot. Fun times but it was strange being at a fake beach set in the Himalayas or wherever the hell it’s supposed to be🤣.

  • You'll just love standing in those thirty minute lines as you're peaking. The security will treat you especially kindly because they love to have people super high on drugs at the park. It will be a blast!
