Hello everyone, I’m an experienced DM running a D&D 5e campaign and looking for one replacement player as one of my players had to leave due to scheduling issues. The campaign takes place in a homebrew setting and has an equal amount of the combat, social and exploration pillars of the game. The game's plot revolves around a mysterious and devastating attack on an island city by strange creatures and automatons and an expedition of brave warriors and adventurers sent to reclaim the lost settlement. We are so far ~3 months into the game with the characters investigating into the mystery of the island!
More info but in bullet point form:
- No Evil Characters
- Campaign takes place on Mondays, 20:00-23:00 GMT
- Official content only (No UA)
- 18+
- Standard Faerun Pantheon
- Roll20 and Discord for voice.
- LGBTQ Friendly
If any of this tickles your fancy please apply to the game through this Google form. If you have any questions, more than happy to answer these over PM. Thank you for taking the time to read this!

If it's not too much effort could you share the composition of the party and what level you are on?
4th level, I'll discuss composition once I make a decision- would be a bit silly to have the same conversation multiple times.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but I was asking about the players that are already in the campaign.
I understood your question, and have been asked that 5 times now. Instead of answering that question every time, I'll simply discuss party composition with whatever player gets an invite.
It would be advantageous to say something like "we have a wizard, barbarian, and sorcerer at the moment" in your advert. That way if someone really wants to play a wizard, they will probably look elsewhere and not waste your time.
While good DMs and players can easily get around duplicate classes, it's not what people tend to want to have to do. Being difficult with a simple question like is not a good sign when you're looking for a game to join.
Seeing that my Google Form already lists 40+ applications, I'll manage somehow.
I've advertised games on here before, you'll get dozens of responses even if your advert is just "I want players plz". But seeing as you're already complaining about wasting time with duplicate conversations, why not kill two birds with one stone, make life easier for yourself, and not come across as difficult to deal with?
Why not mind your own business?
Submitted a form. Hope to hear back from you.
Sent an application too, though I might be late
